Thanks Jaeky. It's a pleasure working with you and thanks for such an all-round review video! The plosive could be effectively reduced talking to the capsule off angle(45 degree) with a distance of 5-8 inches. AM8 is a quite "sensitive" dynamic michonne. Also you are correct on the desk noise, it's a microphone with slightly stronger at low frequency, so a boom arm could really help to minimize the desk noise. Great job!! 😆😆BTW, would you upload more content about CS2 in the future? Grinding at 9999 now...
Artisan zero soft review when, just bought the hien mid but I'm having the same exact issues as you were. The shots are nice but when I whiff I literally just whiff and its very inconsistent, should I just buy the zero soft
hey, i said this once and ill say again, will you review the pulsar x2v2? from what ive seen you liked the original and preferred the shape of it over the gpro but it had qc issues, i think the qc issues are improved and it would be cool if you update us
One of the dynamic microphone features is that they are less sensitive (compared to condenser microphone), so the AM8 would not be picking up fan noises unless you are pointing the capsule to noise source in a close range.
for me the background cancellation was really nice, my fan is like 2-3 m away from me, I put it max speed right towards me and the mic and the am8 did not capture a single bit of sound of the fan.

When I plugged mine in it’s muffley :( how do I fix
Make sure you put it close to your mouth and speak into the top of the microphone, not the side.
Ok thx
