      Be careful messing around that old wiring my friend, that was asbestosis insulation you grabbed a hold of. Asbestosis left alone is not dangerous but when disturbed it releases particulates that can be inhaled. I'm sure you are probably knowledgeable about that stuff but I had to say it anyway. I'm 41 with copd from welding in Inclosed areas w/o a respirator, but I have also have worked with asbestosis. Thanks for the great content my brother, yall be safe and Godspeed.

      Other than the Atlantic Wall which he has announced, it is not known for sure exactly where, however these sites he documents appears to be Norway. Norway was not taken until mid 1940 and a guess would be these were constructed in 1941 or shortly thereafter. Norway being likely one of the most under rated influences of the War which Germany not only invaded but intended to heavily defend. Fortifying the Norwegian Coast would be approximate equal to 2 times greater than that of Western Europe.

    • @ElMariachi1337
      @ElMariachi1337 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah by the spray paint texts on the wall you can tell this is Norway ...

    • @Dobermanator
      @Dobermanator 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ElMariachi1337 I have no idea what most of the wall graffiti said, he tries to not put that on display. I was thinking the Atlantic Wall is almost completely and densely populated and the area he's at is very wild, and very forested. And we know he's on the coast, so what is your thoughts on where it is?

    I'm fascinated with history and especially war history. WW2 is one of the most horrific events in the history of human kind and deserves to be studied, taught and scrutinized over for the rest of human history, or we'll be doomed to repeat it over and over again. Your videos helps me experience the thinking minds of the people that fought in that horrible event and serves to bring to life the dynamics in which they were forced to live in for the sake of survival. Keep up the good work.

    This must have been made when there was a bit of breathing room for the Reich. It even has a proper drainage system. Pretty advanced as there is not always the luxury of a drainage system in these old wartime fortresses. All the best!

    Another great adventure HH and EE!
    I know it has been commented on many times before, but the amount engineering, labour, and materials, needed to construct these structures is unbelievable.
    All for the grand plan of a madman and his cronies. Madness indeed, when you consider that only a small portion of the Atlantic Wall defences ever saw combat.
    Can’t wait for the next adventure! Cheers from Australia!

    That is an amazing place. There is no doubt that the Germans and the labourers they used really were expert bunker and defensive site builders. One day you are going to walk into what you think is going to be "just one more bunker" and you are going to find rooms full to the ceiling with the total contents of the lost gold train and weapons. You will sit on the floor and be totally lost for words. You keep finding such amazing places that no one else has ever found, how you do it I have no idea how but you keep doing it time after time ! Take care and stay safe.

      @@suzyqualcast6269 yes - there probably were many historically and human emotionally significant artifacts left in them: notebooks; diaires; handcrafted or drawn/painted personal items; and other significant items that could have shed more light on the everyday thoughts of the military personnel, contracted workers, and prisoner-workers. I believe that it is very important to preserve and study everything related to WWII and to possibly get an idea of how one genius-madman was able to gain complete control over Germany and almost over the rest of the World. He is the reason that Germany was destroyed by the Allies - no one before had ever been able to create and focus so much hate and drive to conquer the World and in the process enslave the German People and force them to do his bidding which led to the slaughter of the German People and the destruction of Germany. If Adolf Hitler had not existed to create the NAZI PARTY and the HOLOCAUST, and only the German Military had conducted the War then there would never have been the unlimited revenge that the Allies took upon the German People and Germany! Everything that I have ever read about WWII clearly puts the total blame upon that one madman and his hate that he spewed upon the People of the World! The more that we learn from that horrible tragedy and atrocity the more future generations will be able to identify, stop, and isolate future madmen of the calibre of Adolf Hitler before they can commit atrocities such as he committed! Hate breeds violence - figure out how the hate starts and prevent it from becoming violence - that is the proper use of these historical studies of WWII.

    Another grand adventure! I can't stand people that deface history like that. It's so senseless. I too have a phobia of big spiders. Since I live in South GA in the USA, we have plenty of spiders and mosquitoes. That was an enormous installation and I enjoyed this video immensely. Take care. 💖💖

    3:14 Yes rainwater harvesting tank would give them some fresh water. May only have been for washing and toilets? Unless they had a simple charcoal and sand filter somewhere? BRILLIANT explore of some very extensive bunker works! These were ultra important due to evidence of all the comms cables and power etc!

    What a great location. I could spend hours looking around there. It’s strange how some locations you go to the bunkers don’t have any items in them and other bunkers have quite a few items in them. You always seem to take us to the best locations. You’ll be happy to know that am watching your videos from the newest going back to your oldest so you and Eagle Eyes are getting younger. lol

    • @WW2HistoryHunter
      @WW2HistoryHunter  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes , some are totally cleaned out and that is most likely due to the location and how close it is to the general public and others are stuffed with things in there. Thanks for taking time to do that my friend :)

    • @anthonyroberts7718
      @anthonyroberts7718 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would think all the bunkers would be the same but some have a few differences and others are totally different. Sad to see all the graffiti but at least they didn’t vandalize the fixtures that were left. Caution has to be the number one priority when exploring these locations. You could easily get hurt if your not paying attention. Fascinating place to explore.

    You would think all the bunkers would be pretty much the same and some are. Others are totally different. So nice to see many features still in these bunkers. You have to look past the graffiti to see what the Germans have done here. I enjoyed seeing some of the small electrical boxes that you had found in trash piles at other locations. Seeing you find them is nice but actually seeing how they were used gives a better understanding of what they were used for. Great location to explore.

    Now that is a set of bunkers, well done. Well it is heartening to know I don't live in the only country where the kids feel everything needs their paint marks. It is actually very sad they think like that. Those were some of the more "complete" bunkers. All sorts of fixtures to restore. Actually either bunker would be nice to restore to live in. Would be nice to measure some of them out and scale model them, maybe 1:72 to match the miniature models on the market. These could be 3D printed. As always my friend the work , the research and presentation were superb. ou do need to carry more food, flies don't have enough protein. You and EE stay safe out there but have fun.

      I agree William all idiots like that should be forced to clean up after themselves. Hate it , just hate it seeing that. They were pretty dry and living friendly when they were built. Today not so much. I think now it was a bay spider or something i swallowed as i got pretty bad for a few days after. Thanks for your great support and greetings from us.

    This is really cool! The bricked room makes me think it was a “nicer” area for the upper command-perhaps a strategy/war room?
    Suggestion-perhaps you should add a can of bug killer for these adventures-and for sure, a can of personal bug spray for yourselves. This would keep the mosquitoes away from you, Eagle Eye, & Bunker Buster Girl. (We are from the USA, southern state of Arkansas & have several areas with heavy mosquitoes) Are those things readily available where you live? If not, I’ll gladly mail a couple cans to you. You could 1) stop mosquitoes from biting 2) get rid of some of the spiders!
    Thank you for sharing- have a wonderful day!
