My name is Lars. I'm From Denmark but I live in Rural Russia now. I live at a Homestead in wild nature surrounded by a huge forest.
On The Survival-Russia channel we do all things related to the Outdoors Lifestyle. "I had to take the two videos down. I can live with being wrong in Russia not invading Ukraine. However, since I firmly believed Russia would not invade, the videos were made in a "jolly" or "joking" format. In light of the recent events, I feel it would be very bad taste to have these two videos in this format on my channel.
I will of course have a response to these very sad events and my two removed videos. It's always the common people who suffers from wars."

People are emotional, people are angry, people want to someone to blame. If you look through the comments, people are practically accusing him as if he is somehow responsible for the invasion himself. To be this despicable to someone over a wrong opinion is silly imo - I don't blame him for taking the videos down. He was misled by his government and he admitted it, and I'm interested to hear his response.

"Who loses their weapon....." LOL funny story about that. In the peacetime US Army in the 80's we were on a month long field exercise in the desert. In the staging area when you first arrive they had THOUSANDS of portable toilets. One guy "lost" his M-16 and accused me and another guy of stealing it! We said the a-hole most likely left in the damn toilet. Hours later it got found and returned, found in a portajohn. Our First Sgt got bright white, very wide webbing and tied about 6 feet of it to this guy and his rifle. For the next month you could spot that guy from hundreds of yards just from seeing that white streamer hanging off of him. It was funny.

In this crazy world we can still find things in common that we like . The great outdoors and the gear .
Pouches like that are basically pockets. I like lots of pockets! Easy to get to and handy.
After I bought my Mora Kniv I realised I needed to travel to a Chinese monastery and study the art
of knife sharpening for ten years to show my respect to the first truly sharp blade I ever owned.
Well I settled on watching many youtube videos to " Hone " my sharpening skills.
I gave up proper sharpening a long time ago, so long as the blade does what I need I’ll sharpen it as I see fit. Sharpening is a pain in the arse, even with all the proper kit.
I bought a lansky sharpener and my suffering is over, all my knives are razor blades now.

I have been using a haversack, adapted to attach to the straps of my rucksack, to carry the things I want to be able to access quickly. Then, when I get to camp, it becomes a haversack again and much of it's contents go on to my belt.

Did you not say the Russia\Ukraine thing is a historical and all that funky stuff ? I have a similar kit made by Hill Poeple Gear. It's great for pistol, flashlight and first aid kit. Very comfortable. I like that bag as well.

I was recently working on my property in my winter coat and trying to retrieve and replace my belt mounted mora from under my winter clothes and what a real pain.
I thought of you and I realized the practicality of a chest mounted blade.
After your comment of Danish fisherman’ wearing chest a mounted blade I’m surprised the crab fishermen from the TV show “ deadliest catch” don’t. I guess their machismo will save their A’s 😄

I also like the Mora Kansbol; however, I have seen a TH-cam bushcrafter snap the tip of the blade while twisting it to help split wood.

Helikon-Tex stuff is great. Probably not as awesome as UF PRO, but it is also a lot cheaper, I would say.
Hey Lars, just want you to know that I, as an American hope you keep posting. I know you aren’t a war-monger. We as citizens don’t control our rich and greedy governments. Please carry on and ignore any haters you get. Real men know that this changes nothing between us.
LOL it has become apparent to me in recent times that the real reason for carrying the knife on your chest is because once your gut gets to a certain size you cant find your knife if it is on your belt . Same with my ammo belt, went out for a hunt with the single shot the other night and had the need for a quick follow up shot. It was pure guess work finding a bullet , Im getting some bullet loops put on my top pocket.
Sure you can delete videos in which you were wrong but maybe you should stand up and explain why you thought Russia would not invade the whole ukraine. Anyways i like you and politic opinions do not change that

I have the Helikon Tex Numbat and ALWAYS carry it on the trail. Hunting, fishing, camping, doesn't matter. Excellent small chest pouch for woodcraft.

Mauser 1935 to use as a camp knife i must be doing it wrong its a pain in the bla bla!
I would have used a few cable ties instead of those velcro strips.

I think I found the best value sharpening stone ever. It's Suehiro RK-110 curved pocket Waterstones 1000 grit but there are 2 other grits. I picked up for £12 in UK woodwork website. It's great Made in Japan quality for unbeatable price IMHO and it's a very flexible shape. Not full size stone but not tiny either, aimed at gardeners I guess. perfect for axes, knives, bill hooks, everything basically

Although some out there may not appreciate it .. the 'go out there and overnight in -20°C dressed in a loin cloth, equipped with a knife, one match .. altoids fin and of course .. a wool blanket' brigade. The 'experts' 😏. I just recently exchanged (differing) points of view with one who was highly indignant at some of your recent comments in this regard.
'In a Survival Situation' .. and with wholly inadequate gear. Who goes out (supposedly, one hopes, knowingly) without being properly prepared and looking for a survival situation? We can each draw our own conclusions on that.
