All the ant and spider Transformers we've gotten in Kingdom and Legacy have excellent beast modes. At a distance they actually can look legit and easily trigger anyone's arachnophobia and entomophobia.
This figure is so, so amazing. I've been a transformer collector for about 5 years but this guy might be my favorite, perfect accuracy in both modes, fun transformation, and great character.

Im super excited for this figure over any other besides Tarn. Its just so fantastic! I don't really get the complaints over the hands? Like transformers hands have never been too detailed in general except for MP figures. My only gripe would be I wish he had two guns so that he can fly and shoot or duel wield

For me, the fear came from Planet Earth as a kid. It was an episode about cordyseps infecting ants and it showed a full close up on the face with the piercing white eyes and a fungus growing out if it's head. It terrified me.
Imagine a zombified version of inferno with cordyseps fungus growing from parts of there body with them repeating the royalty over and over as they shamble around.
@@Kuwagattai I thought of another idea where waspinator is missing a wing has several parts missing and is stuck halfway between beast mode and robot mode and is also experiencing energon build up but can’t go into stasis cause of there damage and deformed state and thus is in constant pain.
Doubtful they'd venture into fuzor territory yet. Too farfetched for most people. If anything they might do a couple transmetal 2 toys since the dragon Megatron is out now.
Don't forget Quickstrike as well! getting those two may be a long shot but I must admit the roster feels a little incomplete without them. Depthcharge and Rampage would also be welcome additions.
Come to think of it we did get TM Optimal Optimus a few years ago. So some new TM figures is a possibility still. I heard that new moulds are expensive to make now so they'll be making characters that they can repaint over and over ( Ironman and Ratchet for example). Even the BW cheetor figure has 4 different versions?
Great stuff, really didn't expect those butterfly joints! This guy seems to be on par with Jhiaxus, if not even a little better. His ant mode is downright fantastic, especially since there are MP BW figures with far more unsightly robot kibble. It helps that Inferno's color scheme is fairly uniform between his two modes, but still.

My absolute favorite Predacon! He is as funny as he is terrifying. I want this figure so bad! I'm tempted to pay the extra on ebay to get him early. Inferno was one of the BW figures I always wanted as a kid. Great video PvP.
This figure is one I am looking forward to getting my hands on, its just something about Transformer characters who have a simplisitic personalty, that make them stand out more, thou its obvious it started with the G1 Dinobots and Inferno was the first real con to have a simplistic personalty, after that, I would say the next one was pretty much Animated Lugnut!
This dude was the first transformer I got since Age of Extinction Slash when I was like 12 He’s my favorite Beast Wars Character and I love everything about him other than the lack of his show accurate rocket launcher

Inferno is one of my all time favorites and this figure is a dream come true. the original figure was always lacking and a bit wonky, so seeing this show accurate model is just amazing. I can't believe they gave him a hinged jaw! I always thought that would be a great idea but never thought they would actually do it! It's perfect though as it wouldn't be Inferno if he wasn't screaming like an absolute lunatic.

In the 90' some of the Beast Wars Transformers had movable jaws too! I think the figure is great. Hands down the best representation of this character. Very accurte to the show. And your review was as good as always - the best.
So glad to have an update. And he's got his proper QUEEN to salute as well. God, I love that he's got an articulated jaw. I hope they do a Selects Antagony from him (and Cataclysm from the Ravage/Cheetor mold).

I think it's a shame that the butt propeller fin things are not quite uniform. The top one is longer than the bottom but I get it's like that for the transformation. It's make the propeller rotation not quite even looking!
This just arrived at my local toy store (hooray for the messed up global supply chains!), and I hemmed and hawed getting him since I just bought a SS86 Sludge. Man do I feel so much relief having him in hand and transforming him. Such a fun ant buddy. He looks good even with the Generations Waspinator.

I have an Inferno already, but I also really want this mold. There's nothing wrong with getting the same character in different toys, but Instead I'll wait for Antagony. Hasbro's been repainting everything, I know they'll make it.
I'll just say it, Waspinator and Buzzsaw had FLAWLESS weapon storage, because their weapons were their stingers, so it fit in perfectly, even for a handheld weapon, stinger pistol=perfect weapon storage

Well the gun was never the engine in the BW show, and the hands are awful. Ant mode is nice but it's far from perfect accuracy in both modes.

We need a redo on terrorsaur, inferno and terrorsaur were pretty close in scale in the original show but that's just me.
He wasn't as tall as inferno who was only shorter than dinobot and Megatron, but he definitely should be a voyager, like tigatron or rhinox size.
