What D-16/Megatron did to Sentinel Prime is brutal by tearing up his body into pieces but to be honest he definately got what he deserved anyway since Sentinel Prime is the main antagonist of this movie. Although I don't blame D-16/Megatron for hating Sentinel Prime because he had always looked up to him until he learn the truth that Sentinel Prime was never really a hero in the first place.
Yeah. Sentinel's death scene is the definition of bittersweet - sweet because that bastard completely deserved it and got what was coming to him, bitter because D-16 has completed his transition to Megatron and given away his own humanity.

Megatron should’ve got an aggravated assault charge right off the bat by tackling Sentinel off the tower. He also should’ve got one for assault Starscream, and another for forming a gang. Sentinel should get a few more charges for the abduction of cogs of the mining class.

Out of all versions of Megatron this one is probably the most understandable: he was abused as a miner and when he learn his leader Sentinel prime was a frigging fraud and liar killing the real leaders in order to take their position i can honestly understand him. D-16 was a miner in most continuities and became Megatron to lead the Decepticons (who were initially freedom fighters) against the corrupt government through violence. However, when the Autobots were formed to stop the Decepticons and purge the corrupt officials through non-violent actions, that's when Megatron's focus was so much on the Autobots that he forgot the true reason he was fighting. He had mined, fought in the arena, and fought for the people of Cybertron to allow them to truly live as equals. And yet, they criminalized him and made him turn into the villain we know. Almost every version of Megatron is understandable, you would just have to do some research. Should Megatron receive pardons for all the "corrupt" officials he's killed in other continuities? For all that the people know, that footage could have been faked and now you just killed a hero. If you think so then you might just deep down be a Decepticon. It's crazy how this one question can determine whether or not you're an Autobot or Decepticon. The Decepticons are not really evil, most joined Megatron based on his original goal, but have since become blind to his descent into darkness. If you're a Decepticon, it doesn't necessarily mean you're evil, it just shows how far you're willing to go for the greater good.

Seeing him fully embrace becoming Megatron when he lets Orion fall and tears Sentinel in two just makes me tear up, 😢😢which is a sign the people behind this film did something VERY right with D-16 and his start of darkness. Megatron giving Sentinel what he deserved at the price of his own humanity and moral highground is the definition of bittersweet. I agree that Megatron's charge for killing Sentinel if none of the other charges should be commuted, considering Sentinel's own exposed crimes and Megs' motives.

A few things I want to add to D-16 (Megatron), He alongside Orion Pax were close friends working the mines in which, he looked up to Sentinel Prime. After learning the cold truth from Alpha Trion, he insisted on killing Sentinel for his war crimes in which he does, prior the that would be conspiracy to murder. He also fought Starscream as a way to prove his leadership of the soon to be Decepticons which may seem like aggravated assault but he was intrigued on the idea of one power over another and challenged Starscream to fight for power. After being defeated by Optimus Prime, he said take the High Guard and to never come back to Iacon again, meaning he is completely banished for good. And now he becomes the founding leader of the newly born Decepticons and as we know later with the other Transformers variants, he declares war on all of Cybertron which not only that but conspiracy of terrorism and destruction.

Would/could Sentinel get a charge for destroying D’s decal? I haven’t properly watched the movie (yet) but from what I understand and/or what I’ve heard, that was a rare and/or limited addition decal, and since I’m pretty sure it was a present from Orion, assuming Orion bought it, and wasn’t given it or stole it, it was probably pretty expensive
Surprised D-16 and Orion joining the race unofficially wasn't counted. I would assume that would count as some kind of offense, including the fact that they did cause some of the racers to be injured and interfering with the event. I could also see sneaking onto the waste transport train being another matter, since it would be similar to boarding a vehicle without getting clearance. Would/could Sentinel get a charge for destroying D’s decal? I haven’t properly watched the movie (yet) but from what I understand and/or what I’ve heard, that was a rare and/or limited addition decal, and since I’m pretty sure it was a present from Orion, assuming Orion bought it, and wasn’t given it or stole it, it was probably pretty expensive
Surprised D-16 and Orion joining the race unofficially wasn't counted. I would assume that would count as some kind of offense, including the fact that they did cause some of the racers to be injured and interfering with the event. I could also see sneaking onto the waste transport train being another matter, since it would be similar to boarding a vehicle without getting clearance. Also, wouldn't D helping Orion dodge the archive guards be considered harboring a criminal?
