Question. I bought the same LIVEPRO L1 device as yours, I have a Panasonic LUMIX G70 camera, I recorded a video clip in the OBS program FULLHD, but I got a very bad video video resolution? How do I solve this problem. Thank you
@@DavidOastler Yes of course. Panasonic LUMIX G70 HDMI cable, directly connected to the LIVEPRO L1 device, so I sent a USB signal from LIVEPRO L1 to my PC in the OBS program?
Good morning David, do you mind sharing your set up for your top down camera view? For example; what Camera/Lens are you using. Is it mounted, or just a tall tripod behind your desk? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
If I were to connect a sound board (it has an amplifier) to the 3.5mm input of the Livepro, how bad will the delay be between the camera and the audio feeding into the Livepro?
I’m not sure I never tested it as I just route the audio into a mixer and bring it all together in Wirecast. But there will probably be delay so you would need to allow for it in software
Is it true that the Audio Input changes with the Video Input? Means: if you press Video 1 you have Audio 1 and if you press Video 2 you have Audio 2? Or can you choose a permanent EMBEDDED Audio Input?
One more question 🙂 Can I use OBS with a Feelworld switcher plugged into the laptop and at the same time recording sound thru interface directly to OBS (laptop)? As I see, if I try to connect sound directly to switcher than it gets out of sync

So, Feelworld and for example, Tascam Dr40x directly to separate ports in the laptop and then just add the sound and picture in OBS from those two external sources?
When you have the six different inputs tiled on the screen at the same time (picture in picture), everything is squashed into 4:3 aspect ratio. Is there a way to set it to crop away the sides instead?
It's not that big a deal if only you see it as the user. I don't know if it's possible to show the picture-in-picture to the audience, but if the audience sees a messed up aspect ratio it would look very unprofessional.
you never learned how to stream over a cable USB with 25 and 50 frames. six months have passed and you still can't fix this defect in the USB output settings, there is a value of 25 or 50 frames, and in fact, the OBS input comes 60 and does not change in any way, because of this the remote heats up replacing the firmware with the newest version does nothing. the bug remains and is not fixed for 6 months
Aten kills it!
I have the atem and both have advantages
When connecting HDMI (sound and color better) Will HDMI appear as a "webcam" like the USB ?
HDMI is much better for me then USB.

Are you using hdmi I not see as I only use Sony cameras and Wirecast
@@DavidOastler Yes of course.

Question.
Is image quality lost between LIVEPRO L1 and PS computers via USB connection?
Hopefully someone who uses that program can help
@@DavidOastler Thank you very much

It was actually the zv1 on a desk mic stand.
David Oastler Thank you
Sounds like a great solution for cheap. Streaming becoming so sophisticated.
It sure is.

@@DavidOastler Forgive me, I meant to say mixer. I just call it a soundboard. It's a bad habit I have. XD
Nice review.
Can you swich between camera using micros from your Pc or do you need to use the dedicated buttons on the unit?
I’m not sure what the software has as there is no Mac version yet.
@@DavidOastler thanks

I think it does but that is not the way I use it I have my mic connected to a Røde podcaster pro and I only use the switcher for video.
Hi, can my cameras record directly to sd card while I am doing live stream? For example I will use Lumix G9 and BMPCC 4K.
Thanks
Yes that should work

Sorry I don’t use obs

Inm not sure as it is designed to be used on a monitor. I could not do that as the software for macs is not available yet.

Do you need a capture device when you use it via USB?
No you don’t but the quality is not as good.
David Oastler The video quality or the audio quality?
Video
did you update the audio as they said a update is out...?
No I must look at that.
@@DavidOastler Any chance on the update. I know it was the only one they had out so far..
I’ve not seen one.
@@DavidOastler Its now on the main feelworld site under downloads...2 installs.
I’ll have to give it a go
looks good ..give the ATEM mini a run for its money..
Yes it’s pretty good
That looks excellent - hope they fix the audio...
I do too
Any news about the app controlling ?
Not yet
cost in AUD?
If you search you will find it I know video guys have it.
@@DavidOastler thanks...found it there...pre-order for AUD$499
