If I get a second Bambu Lab printer, I will definitely be getting this for all the reasons you outlined - thank you for this review! I would definitely get a second stand for it so I could have it at my desk so I could monitor prints from there and have it charging. Before people complain - the Bambu Lab Handy mobile app is OK, but I don't feel like it flows like the interface on my X1C which this control panel tries to emulate. I think BigTreeTech did an amazing job in this regard all things considered, and it's nice to be able to have full command and control over the printer like you were standing at the printer (again I know Handy can do a lot of it but it isn't the same to me). I love being able to send print jobs from the included storage The only thing I wish they could figure out how to add is live streaming of the camera on the printer, but I think that is probably a bridge too far. Imagine how awesome that would be, then there would be literally no reason to use the Handy app to manage your printers while in your office/house.
I don't think they spelled Bamboo "wrong," they are just trying to make a pun. Because in the wild, Giant Pandas do generally only eat Bamboo plants. And Bambu Labs is generally accepted to be a variation on "Bamboo," so a product from "Panda" would like "Bamboo." :)
Looks cool and would be great update for my P1S, it’s little screen is annoying and the interface on it is limited as you really can’t change filament for non Bambu spools. When I checked Amazon for the screen it was 69..99, but $70 is still not bad.
I don’t think this is that great of an upgrade if you only have one printer. I’d rather use my computer than the P1S sceeen anyway, it’s much more useful. I can monitor my printer from my phone in another room if necessary anyway.
I just got a P1s and i thought this would be a good upgrade. But ive yet to use the touch pad. Either the App or my PC is all i need.

Hi, what version of the software are you running on your printers? Bamboo and panda touch?
You can already have the same functionality with the bambu phone app.
Was about to say that
I had one on order, but after research it does exactly the same thing as bambu handy. pointless for me
