Very excited to hear you deservedly have your own channel now - you’re def still my fav avgeek reviewer. Chill, laid back and inspiring - it’s so great that we can fly with you ✈️
Another great review! So good to see a US carrier with a really great looking product. Add pyjamas and a mattress pad and this would be the icing on the cake! Thanks @GabrielLeigh can't wait for the next one! 👍🎂
May I offer Habit of what I hope is constructive criticism...I have been a broadcast technician for over 50 years. You are editing too tight. You should have a pause between sentences. I hope you hear what I mean.
Unfortunately nowadays the videos have to be tended to the younger audience, who’s attention spans have been reduced to near zero thanks to TikTok and other brain drain “social” media platforms. If more than a couple seconds of pause exist, then these losers quickly lose interest and click elsewhere.
It has to do with reducing the probability of head injury, as I understand it, during sudden deceleration when in a seat that has more room, hence more space to move around and thus potentially greater impacts.
Are they serving sodas, like Coca Cola or Sprite? I don't drink any alcohol, and I would like to be able to drink that. Plus enough water to take my medicine.
@airedition yayy thanks. Unfortunately since my operation on my stomach I can no longer handle alcoholic beverages, I get a allergic kind of reaction, face turning red after 2 sips. So non alcoholic beverages for me. I'm so looking forward to my trip, in 10 months time lol
One word 'no' The seat is fine and it's nice to have the sleeping pad. Their service has gone downhill - they don't stop by as often as they used to and plates and drink glasses get left on the trays for hours. (in business class) Food is just OK, and wine selections are pretty poor. Weren't you the one that walked off with a bunch of backer money?
Didn't walk off anywhere, just haven't been able to complete the film (yet). As for Delta, that's interesting to hear. I guess if service has declined that might vary quite a bit from flight to flight. How often are you having that poor experience?
@airedition I've had the experience of them not coming back to take plates and glassware twice now, but it was the same ROUTE (LAX-SYD and SYD-LAX, 3 weeks apart. It might be common on that route, or there has been some policy change or just some added laziness after COVID. A friend of mine has also reported similar experience with plates and glasses left behind for hours on ATL-LIM.
I just flew D1 SEA-AMS and back this past week. Had 6J and 8A. 6J was fine on the outbound, and I ended up sleeping about 4-5 hrs. On the return in 8A, the flight attendants were a little noisy in the mid-galley, but since this was a mid-afternoon departure, I didn't sleep as much, as my body clock was up-ended. In either case, it was no fault of the seat. Since Delta doesn't supply PJ's (they used to pre-Covid), I bring my Virgin Australia PJ's along. It makes a difference in overall sleep comfort (vs sleeping in "street" clothes). It would be nice to have a mattress topper (Virgin Atlantic & Australia do/did provide that and sometimes a turn-down service), however, it could be alot worse.
I want you to know that this is a safe space for trolls. Your misplaced hostility helps boost my engagement figures which gets my video seen by more people. So feel free to spread your bad vibes on all my videos, and thanks!
Will you please tell me why you prefer Polaris over Delta One. I’ve always preferred UA but flew Delta One recently & liked it. I need to now book transatlantic & am struggling on picking Delta One or Polaris. Thank you in advance.
@user-zs1yi1zm4l *my opinion* food was wayyyyy better, service faster and more friendly. I prefer united suites setup...the only thing I like is that delta one has a door. I also prefer the completely flat seat on united...my delta one seat had an ever so slight raise...PS...im a flight attendant..(and not for united)
Nice video but I could DEFINITELY do without the intermittent BOOMITY-BOOM sleazy "music track." Perhaps you are USED TO being "pumped up" all the time. But we find this a very sad American "addiction." CALM IS WAY BETTER.
It's very amusing that you say "calm is way better" in ALL CAPS! Which is so NOT CALM! It's also amusing that you claim this is an American thing. Based on what? Specifically addressing the music, there is usually roughly ~4% of people that complain about it and you are in this group. People have different tastes. Most like the music, including me. So I will not change it. Also, PLEASE STOP SHOUTING on the internet.
@@aireditionwhat’s the track?.. I’d like to listen to it to be “pumped up” on my next Delta One flight. As a fellow American, I am addicted to the “boomity-boom” music, especially on my transatlantic flights.

Nice thanks!
You helped me choose delta suites for my solo adventure in October
Great! Enjoy it.
great video jeb!
Great quality video. Now a subscriber.
Amazing thanks!
First time on your channel and I am enjoying it. Thanks
Amazing, thanks! And welcome!
Nice report Gab!
Thanks Marcin!

I have experience in both. Thing is, TH-cam is very different from broadcast. It is a matter of preference, but the old rules don't necessarily apply.
@@airedition I Respectfully disagree but it's your channel and I like your work overall.

I agree that it’s too jittery
It’s ADHD zoomer editing. Half of TH-cam and all of TikTok is cut like this.
That meatball meal is also just served in standard first out of LAX but it's darn good. 1800 for that is pretty good.
Interesting to know!
Flying Delta one in a few weeks. 11 hours ATL to LOS, very much looking forward to it.
Oh that sounds fun! Curious to hear how it is.
Great video Gabe
Thanks!
Nice one!
Thanks!
this was great!!
Thank you!
Love your new channel!! Great content, super chill and to the point!
Thank you! Much appreciated.
Looking forward to the a220 video!
Thanks, coming on Friday!
i had the same problem with the seat when i flew it a while ago. They should have had a thicker mattress.
Hey, do you. You can't please everyone all the time. Great video.
Thanks!
I'm 5'2" and on one business class flight I wasn't able to reach my feet to the other end. Do you think I would have this problem in the Delta Suite?
Good question, I’m not sure! Possibly!
Great video. How did you manage to get an $1800 RT fare...it's more than 3x that on Delta's web site. Thabks
Fares vary for sure. But in general departing the Nordics we get these kinds of fares pretty often. Didn't use any special tricks.
Yes, please tell us how you got that fare
LAX is sooooo chaotic omg
Certainly can be!
They're all bumpy seats and need a thick mattress pad.
Nice video!
Uh oh, I was hoping mine was a one-off! Thanks for weighing in.
I wish they had a mattress (seat) topper like United Polaris, much more comfortable.
Never understood the shoulder belts on business seats

Yes plenty of soft drinks, sodas and more, not to worry!

Are you flying Starlux anytime soon?
I would really like to! Haven't been able to fit them into my plans yet, but hopefully soon.
I didn't have a pad for the seat from IAD to LON. It was very uncomfortable.
Oh no!

Good to know! This can definitely be a function of different cultures between crew bases too.
can anyone book these or do yiu have to have a business account
Not sure what you mean. It’s a normal flight, open to anyone.
$1800 what a bargain!
The Delta One suite’s seat, are not comfortable at all relative to other business class seats.
This is starting to seem like the consensus - and I'm very disappointed to hear it! Thanks for weighing in.

You’re a Biscoff hater??!!? Unsubscribing!
😄. I mostly like to rile up the people I know who LOVE Biscoff. Which I don’t think it deserves.
The amenity kits are very cheap junk
I don’t think so at all, the cases are nice and I still use mine!
Jesus loves you repent he is coming back he died for your sins please ❤
