Considering he already has cores on UK, France and the Mediterranean. He should be able to take over the rest of Europe rather easily. With all cores of the Roman Empire he has similar amount of manpower as China does while having more industry than late game USA does. He can now do a world conquest without problems. Basically infinite manpower and weapons.
It’s really easy, I got everything apart from Germany (the last one) by 1941 and I’m just an average player. I’m sure if I could be bothered I could also beat up germany

It took me until 1944 (in 1.12.5), you probably cut at the very least one year by rushing mare nostrum. Of course, I had issue with stabilizing the resistance / recruiting troops. Cheers.
half of europe gets cored if going full roman empire and the rest shouldn't be much of a problem since he had australia and parts of canada which is the main bottleneck of a world conquest.

Got it. Forgot to justify on Greece, didn't want resistance getting out of hand so I got garrisons back up, got stuck in a weapons shortage pit, the Carlists rose up before I could get Franco taken care of, but at the end of the day this was super effective. Definitely got a sub outta me for this one.
bro you just did roman Empire in 26 minutes while i tryd it in the last 7 hours and germany had to take turkey...... i had to try to take him be he didnt let me and i just left....... i really learned alot how thank you veeery much i will try some of youre ideas and train more. im kinda a new player but understand alot things in the game. i have like 400 game hours or 200 but for real for some players thats nothing..... whatever thank you for the tipps they look very good.

Great run, also easy to replay yourself. I've tried to turn this into a papal state run (maybe achievements, too), but you'll sit on the 100% BoP to the right after the Britain/Albania war even after deposing Mussolini. Winning the war will even bring him back as he isn't removed from the BoP. Additionally the balance reset from 'Seeking papal support' only works if the BoP is on the left side. If only there was a way to prevent BoP changes through war results...
I managed to get it going by losing control over some core provinces during the war against Yugoslavia. With some timing you'll get 0% BoP after seeking papal support and up to 65% papal support soon after with the focuses and a hierarch advisor.
Allow all your provinces to be taken, always take decisions to more the BoP to the Left and then every year you can take a papal decision to move it further to the left. Usually Conquered the world before the Pope returns
To rise tension you can also enter and exit axis. It doesn't work by itself if you try to reach the full 25 but if you justify on the US and also do that you can reach the UK gurantee limit and declare war in time to justify also on spain(i think late may) and capitulate them in the first war (just like in the old tutorial)

Take a look at my Italy WC speedrun from 2 month ago. You can bring reinforcements over quite quickly with a little trick. You'll still encounter enemy divisions, but have about two armies worth of divisions to beat them down fast.

For normal people, they’d spend over an hour building up a massive industry and revamping their infantry templates and making a larger navy. But you have bypassed all of that and just shat on all the largest HOI content creators. Yet I could not respect you more.
I don't dig speedrunning for my own playthroughs, but it is fun to watch. Funny this popped up just today, since I'm in the middle of a Roman Empire run myself. Instead of going fast, I play like a rat, trying to pick up whatever territories I can in ahistorical mode without waking up any majors until I'm good and ready to beat them in a stand-up fight. When Britain flips commie, that makes things much easier because it stops guaranteeing minors and it releases all its colonies, usually as free states. The only other variable for me now is whether Germany manages to found Vichy France, since I leave most NS nations on historical settings. I make it even harder on myself too with my own personal restrictions on play. I can never declare on a European nation directly unless it is communist, with the exception of Spain and Portugal, or countries which hold my cores (So I could start The Troubles as Ireland, for example.) And I must form my own faction if at all possible. No piggy-backing on the Axis to pick up territories I want or need.
@@brunozivkovic1304 Yes, it's a new bug from a recent patch. You can circumvent it by swapping to a different template first, just like you did. Pretty annoying though.

I've tried this a few times now. I do the war in Ethiopia and get to the UK pretty quickly, usually within a week of your timeline. But every time I capitulate the UK, Canada becomes the allies leader and I'm stuck
idk if it is because of a new patch, but conquering england just doenst work, especially with the garbage cav divisions, i get london and 90% cap, but never manage to conquer them since they always have enough troops around brisol and liverpool and never leave them unlike u said. after some time they get enough units to push my garbage back sadly. tried it twice now and its really frustrating
Patch 1.12.8 gives the AI some brain so that they won't guarantee if they are in no place of defending others, and minor countries won't join a faction if joining would result in going down with the faction leader. Can't wait to see your new strategy around that.
@@m3an Unfortunately, the AI behavior change mentioned above is NOT documented. The devs have made undocumented changes before so it is nothing new. You will have to see it in action. Just reproduce the steps in this video and you will see less powerful Allies leader not guaranteeing others and minor nations not joining Allies
@@m3an Maybe do a quick experiment to see whatever mechanism you use in the new video still work? Smallest experiment I did was to play Germany and use nocb command on the UK at the very beginning.

im stuck at in uk . cant micro the way into victory paints fast enough before its defended properly . and im using all horses for speed benefits ! help please .
@@m3an so many victory point to crawl into....and i bring like 35 divisions consisting of 10 infantry . i even tried to copy the naval invasion locations used in the video . but one problem is the proper strategy to grind into victory points is not specificly obvios in video .... and as i encountered with focusing on generating horse divisions for border control you cant have enough buff divisions to actually fight uk . let alone finishing the uk in 20 days like you did in the video . can you publish a guide into how attain victory points in uk ? much needed . i gave this like 10-12 trial runs and tried many methods to sack uk before they can reinforce ....

Solo conquests don't have this issue, since your total score isn't divided into rounds, province cost don't increase, etcpp. If viable, I would always try to avoid shared conferences.
I wonder: is it possible to use cavalry viably for any offense in the game? I've tried it a few times in the past, but they weren't very successful. How would you design a cavalry division to be any use?

new patch fixes a bug regarding tension and justification "- World Threat will now correctly build and decay from the fabrication of claims" do you know what this problem was ? will it make the run quicker or slower now?
I talk about that when explaining the changes to tension. Up until the patch from today which was in beta already for a while, tension was not generated if you justified during war time. And no, doesn't make a difference to the strategy.
I tried this and Canada just took over the allies after capitulating UK? I then tried it again turning on cheats so do it within the month and same thing still happens?
Hard to say without more details, but that shouldn't happen unless it's mid or lategame. Do you have all DLCs and play on 1.12, no game rule customization?

I think i have a bug where even when i take mare nostrum, there is no option for the decision, and it forces me to take the weaker “towards a greater italy” focus if i want to get any cores
Hy I am doing a german game and used some of your tactics you explained in this great video. But for me the UK doesn’t guarantee yugoslavia. World tension is above 25% and they do guarantee other countries I justify against but not yugoslavia. Any Idea why this is not happening? I am on 1.12.6 version

Do it as democratic Italy and you get EU cores as well
i got fully cored roman empire besides saudi arabia by dec 37 and i messed up and lost about 6 months so it can be easily done mid 37@@7XQO

I figured it out, jut convert to inf then to paratrooper... for some reason that works

Thank you! To abandon the war with Ethiopia, simply pull back your divisions so that their units can take territory. The decision costs 15pp.

It's normal to encounter some defending divisions at some point, that's why you need the reinforcements with proper infantry.

@@shayanvefghi That sounds like you're doing something differently. I just gave it a try in 1.12.6 and I could annex the dominion without issues.

If you would have annexed the British navy before you take land. Then you'll face this issue. I've faced this too.

new patch fixes a bug regarding tension and justification "- World Threat will now correctly build and decay from the fabrication of claims" do you know what this problem was ? will it make the run quicker or slower now?
I talk about that when explaining the changes to tension. Up until the patch from today which was in beta already for a while, tension was not generated if you justified during war time. And no, doesn't make a difference to the strategy.

I tried this and Canada just took over the allies after capitulating UK? I then tried it again turning on cheats so do it within the month and same thing still happens?
Hard to say without more details, but that shouldn't happen unless it's mid or lategame. Do you have all DLCs and play on 1.12, no game rule customization?
@@m3an Yup! Noticed someone else below (Niehm) had the same thing happen to him? I also opted to win the Ethiopian war instead of white peace. Does that somehow change things?

I think i have a bug where even when i take mare nostrum, there is no option for the decision, and it forces me to take the weaker “towards a greater italy” focus if i want to get any cores

I did this differently by justifying on France at the beginning then after claiming France then invading the UK. After that I just took my time

I am doing a german game and used some of your tactics you explained in this great video.
But for me the UK doesn’t guarantee yugoslavia. World tension is above 25% and they do guarantee other countries I justify against but not yugoslavia. Any Idea why this is not happening?
I am on 1.12.6 version
