I'm not going to mention all, but some examples are games with replaced character due to copyright reasons (like Spider-Man in a Neo Geo game i think), NES games having save slots, etc. -Uh Virtual Console is supposed to be in Tier 1. You may confused it with E3 2006 Virtual Console, which was completely different visually. -Fake Safety Warnings?: In the website Flickr, there's a thread called "Wii Safety: The Missing Pages" made by the user The Iconfactory. These are supposedly unused diagrams for the japanese Wii Safety Manual (including the infamous kid swallowing a Wii image). Needless to say that these image are fake, but they are really well done and replicate almost perfectly the art of the original safety diagrams. I had mario tennis on the Wii, and I can’t tell you how much sense it makes to use the remote as a racket. This game was incredible as a child and I loved to play tournaments with my mom. Cool memories

i remember at one point, you could buy Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival at Game Stop new in-box, with the pack-in Digby and alternate Isabelle amiibos, for less than a single amiibo. i bought it for a friend (knowing the game was lackluster, having previously bought it at $20 for the pack-in amiibos) and we had a good laugh when we found out the game disc wasn't actually in the box. "oh well, i wasn't gonna play it anyway. thank you for the amiibos!"

You forgot one more to add to the iceberg: Rayman Raving Rabbids + Rabbids origins: The Original Prototype of RRR was going to be a platformer when it was developed for the 6th Gen consoles, but when Ubisoft Montpellier received Wii dev kits from Nintendo, they’ve changed the original RRR to a party game because of it’s motion controls. Because of this, the Rabbids were born and sabotaged Rayman’s spotlight in-favor of mini games before splitting to it’s own franchise starting with Rabbids Go Home.
