You should pick up a torch lighter that attaches to a 1 lb. bottle. Its a game changer for starting fires. Also we love when you asked your dog. "Can you get up here"? He was all "hell ya" and jumped up .Love your videos and happy trails.
Excellent suggestion - I use those propane torches for starting campfires all the time, they're the best! I even bought a few of the torch heads to store in among my camp gear and in my vehicle just so I always have a spare - Coleman makes a small affordable one.

As another herder breed, my corgi is always on my heels also. Very sketchy on steps. And yes, she gets stepped on too! Make sure you watch for ticks while hiking and getting back into your rig. They are soooo tiny and hard to see. I am so happy you two are back on the road. Happy trails!❤😊

My wife learned a foreign country traveling tip from her dad: Always pack a summer sausage and a box of Triscuits for evening snacks or in case you don't happen to find any food that agrees with you when you first arrive to your destination (my wife adds a little can of cheese whiz as well). It's come in handy for late night snacking back in our room on many occasions during our trips to Mexico
We went to 13 Texas State Parks last winter. It was a 3 month trip, they had the best parks. We were around the same area as you are at one time. Enjoy texas🤠🤠🤠😍.
I like sparkling water too. Also club soda. I'm an avid camper & I really enjoy the seeing all the different campsites you go to. The portable firepit was great. I'll look for one. Have you ever seen the stick stoves? They're tiny & made of titanium I believe. You just click all the sides together & it forms a square box. You put tiny sticks in to burn & keep feeding it as needed. You can cook on it too. When disassembled, it packs up flat & takes up no space at all.
Love Blu ! I sleep w 2 large 70 lbs doggoes and a cat in a FULL size bed...I get maybe 1/4 to sleep on!! Wouldn't have it any other way! Can't wait for the cave video! Boy you are lucky!! Happy Trails
That little portable fireplaces no bigger than a large candle and I don't think anyone would harass you for using that on your table. It's no more dangerous than your cooker you're using in my opinion. Great video Maria. Love this camp spot❤

Look up Lake McClellan, Texas ... we camped there a in 2019 and the lake was completely dried up, its in the middle of nowhere, it was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful!

You should get a portable bug zapper for the skeeters. Nebo makes one called the Z-Bug Lantern + light. This is a battery powered LED light that you can use as a bug zapper or a lamp or both. it is safe to have around and it has a protective cover to keep folks or dogs from touching the zapper rails.
If you want to see the natural beauty of the hill country in all its glory go directly west. Lost Maples State Park and Garner State Park are two of the best in the state. They call that area between the two "the alps of texas". Highway 337 from Medina to Leakey is one of the best drives in all of Texas

Hello , I use to live in Texas & Michigan. I Would check or watch for snakes in Texas . I use to let my dog Sunshine off a leash at Lower Huron Metro Park in Belleville, Michigan and I climbed across a log and Sunshine my Alaskan Malamute jumped across and she landed on a snake. We Love your Adventures and want you to be safe . Also like others are saying your a beautiful lady inside and out and and I agree about being aware of your surroundings. Love you Maria and Blue .
Yup that recall is essential, I’m so glad I personally fully trained my Aussie, that recall came in handy plenty of times cause other pet parents didn’t really have their pets under control, and they caused fights.

South Llano River SP is one of them. Big Bend Ranch SP in Lajitas tops my list because of the epic mountain biking. Now we are outside Durango CO and love it.

An easy way to make a fire is to use a little diesel. Have bottle of diesel and pour a little on the firewood. Wait 5 minutes and light it. Super simple. :)

cooking with a campfire in a can is great, but you probably got a tiny coat of wax on your sausage.the wax in the candles is what makes the fire, so anything you cook on the open flame gets wax on it. just started doing my build in a 2000 Tahoe.
Yes, Spring break is insane!!!! Going through the same here in Texas trying to find camp spots.......crazy hard! I just bought a 12 pack of Topo Chico and tried 1, threw the rest in trash......🤣🤣🤣 I've always called my now 10 year old pup, kid and bub 🥰

My Anatolian-Great Pyrenees boy is 5 and does the same thing at bedtime. He'll go sleep on the floor for about 4 hours and hop up on his blanket on the other side of my queen bed for an hour or so in the morning. Blue is really cool.

You can have your own fire in a portable fire pit, but when there’s a no campfire restriction, it’s just none allowed in ground cause of spread! Especially here in Texas cause our weather is unpredictable!! And durning summer it’s very hot & dry, as we have had drought issues and there, a ground fire can spread rapidly!!!!!!!
In the camping/RV section at stores you can find moisture absorbent pellets if your still having condensation problems. And at fabric stores you can find thick black (maybe other colors too) felt; Along with some sticky tab Velcro to help tack it for drapery. Love your enthusiasm & your a ROCKSTAR! 🤙

An easy way to make a fire is to use a little diesel. Have bottle of diesel and pour a little on the firewood. Wait 5 minutes and light it. Super simple. :)

cooking with a campfire in a can is great, but you probably got a tiny coat of wax on your sausage.the wax in the candles is what makes the fire, so anything you cook on the open flame gets wax on it. just started doing my build in a 2000 Tahoe.

My Anatolian-Great Pyrenees boy is 5 and does the same thing at bedtime. He'll go sleep on the floor for about 4 hours and hop up on his blanket on the other side of my queen bed for an hour or so in the morning. Blue is really cool.

You can have your own fire in a portable fire pit, but when there’s a no campfire restriction, it’s just none allowed in ground cause of spread! Especially here in Texas cause our weather is unpredictable!! And durning summer it’s very hot & dry, as we have had drought issues and there, a ground fire can spread rapidly!!!!!!!
In the camping/RV section at stores you can find moisture absorbent pellets if your still having condensation problems. And at fabric stores you can find thick black (maybe other colors too) felt; Along with some sticky tab Velcro to help tack it for drapery. Love your enthusiasm & your a ROCKSTAR! 🤙
