First off, thank you for visiting this specialty restaurant. The appearance of the sushi, from my point of view, is five-out-of-five. The venue is for sure worth a visit, or maybe even two.
I think of every food I’ve tried that sushi and sashimi are almost my favorite foods to eat in this world. I’m a country girl so my favorites are purple hull peas and sweet potatoes. I plan on trying the sushi on my cruise but I’m not sure it will be as good as you had on Celebrity.
Hi Angela! 🙂 Carnival's Bonsai Sushi was really good too- we really liked it as well. Both were tasty, though Carnival didn't have as many different rolls, but their prices were better. So it's pretty much a tie.
Sushi on Five should try and accommodate the passengers who don’t eat sushi (like me). I have a health issue and cannot eat raw seafood. I saw the chicken gyoza, but as long as they are making shrimp tempura for the sushi rolls, why not offer it as an entree? Shrimp, chicken and vegetable tempura would get me in there with my sushi eating DH. Loved the video though. I love it when Joanne is happy with her meal. ❤️
That's a good idea- it'd be even more popular if they offered more non-raw dishes. In addition to the apps, they did have that Snow Crab California Roll & the ramen. But they should make something like a bento box with e.g. tempura, grilled salmon, shrimp skewer, seaweed salad, etc. Thanks so much for the comment Sally! 😊
I would enjoy Sushi on Five everyday. entrees looks amazing, happy your family enjoys every bite. Joanne has great appetite, is that how she stays so slim with sushi ?
You're very welcome! Raw on 5 has some similar items but not exactly the same it seems. We do have a Raw on 5 video with the menu but we didn't order sushi. Have a great time on the Edge!

That's a good question- I think it did have some tomato base, though it's flavored with seafood. Nice choices! Those dumplings, spicy tuna and the ramen noodles were really tasty! 😋 Yup you can order whatever you'd like- the menu with prices is at 1:05
@@gmbh8443 yup in the main dining room the food is included with no extra cost, and you can order as many as you want, but this sushi restaurant is a "specialty" restaurant so it does cost extra, and certainly you can order as much as you'd like.

@@gmbh8443 Menu for a restaurant where you order and bring food. At the buffet you would bring your plate and get what you want from a selection of a lot of different food 🙂
Love your videos they are the best cruise food videos by far. We went to Sushi on Five on the Silhouette a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed. We had the raman's, the lobster was a nice change but the pork was missing some greens such as any type of choy or even fresh spinach if they can get that and maybe some narutomaki which can even be carried frozen. Also the broth was too simple, wasn't good bone broth more like a powdered flavour.
