Justin and his family from Trip In A Van recently upgraded their Harrier Plus air con to the new Dometic FreshJet 7 Series Plus. Have you had any issues at all? I have the freshjet 7 pro. When on cooling the touch pad on the main unit keeps changing over to heating. Finding it hard to get someone to come look at it.
I just bought one so interested in issues and am wondering if you have used the app to do a firmware update it says it can i dont know if ones available worth a look if you haven't already
@@andrewgould699ended up finding a service tech. It was a faulty touch panel that will now be replaced under warranty. I haven’t tried the app to control it yet. I will look into that when I pick the van back up from its repairs.

We had same thing happen with ours over the weekend. Very annoying when it happens. I then connected up to it with app on iPhone and it showed an update available for the aircon. Installed that and it didn’t do it again. So presume it’s just a software bug.
@was the air con in standby or powered on when you did update and its done using Bluetooth yes not wifi? thanks im on android can't get it to update
The heath transfer is 3400w, not the power consumption. The power consumption is 1748w

Hi there! Thank you for your comment. This is actually Justin's third Dometic air conditioner so they have tried and tested them in their caravan whilst travelling around Australia for over 8 years, and definitely know a lot about the models!

I have never seen a RV of camper built past 1999 that needed extra lights. I have 2008 and I have so many led lights that its blinding
also, it has a light built in, like every freshjet since early 2000s
