Okay this really makes me realise how stunning rift apart really is. I used to think it looked slightly better than the PS4 game but now it looks hugely better
I agree not only in terms of the looks but they did good with the game in terms of the gameplay itself the story on the other hand doesn't top past games however but it is miles better then the 2016 reboot
@@copingflower1909 If I had to judge it as a standalone story I'd put it at number 5 and this is partly due to its pacing and cutscene direction (other 4 in order for me are ACiT, DL, UYA and RaC 2002). Outside of the high impact games 2016s story is the worst because there's nothing to really appreciate what it does in retrospect but outside of being a poor adaption of the original games story there's nothing to actively dislike about it either, it's just there.

That's because it DOES look like a PS4 game, it's just that the previous game looked even more mediocre. Rift Apart simply has more foliage and better resolution than PS4 games can handle. But that's not next gen at the CORE level of the graphics, which are the model / environment polygon count and textures.

2:28 facial animations are good on R&C PS4 but R&C: Rift Apart takes it to a whole next level of expressiveness! It really helps bring those characters alive, make them feel genuine and the player bond and care more about them. And I'm pretty sure there are hordes of character creators, animators and impersonators out there that will love to have access to similar animation technology.

Este juego se hizo para demostrar la potencia del SSD de la PS5, por ende en PS4 habrian muchas, pero muchas pantallas de carga molestas que dañarían el concepto inicial del juego. Imaginate cambiar de un mundo a otro mediante portales en PS4. Literal estarías viendo a Ratchet caer como por 15 o 20 segundos en un portal cuando esa no es la idea del videojuego, la idea es poder cambiar de un mundo a otro casi instantáneamente y sin pantallas de cargas molestas.

Yo lo tengo y es graficamente la verdad un 10 para sony espectacular las cinematicas los graficos el dialogo solo le doy una pega los mini boss son todos iguales y se a hace repetitivo pero el juego es una obra de arte espectacular

They made the right choice on making this Rachet and Clank game exclusive on ps5. I’m currently playing it and the graphics are amazing. If they will ever make a new Spyro game for ps5, I want to see the same graphics as this game

@TODOtutos pues las texturas son impresionantes, la iluminación (más allá del ray tracing) mejoró muchísimo, la cantidad de objetos en pantalla aumentó demasiado, la calidad de modelados y animaciones es impresionante (al nivel de muchas películas animadas), los 60fps y bueno por supuesto el ray tracing, que no hay gran salto??

En PS5 se ve como una pelicula de Pixar, mientras que en PS4 se ve como una Serie animada en 3d. Lo digo porque las series animadas en 3d siempre pierden mucha calidad grafica a comparación de una Película.

Rifts apart really use a lot of ps5 features and it is a great example of demonstrating the potential of ps5 can do. I hope I can see some games in the future can push the machine to it's limits.

The "remake" has honestly an awesome gaming value like the original, however it feels more like a soft reboot version of the first game than a remake like Resident Evil's. The faces of the characters look emotionless during a dialogue, the gadgetron vendor is annoying to you with it's pixelizer if not bought, too much background talking during gameplay, the same orchestral background music instead of bringing back the old ones, etc.
I remember the 2016 ratchet and clank looking amazing , now we reached a new qconsole generation that takes graphics to even higher levels like what they did with rift apart, for a platformer these are insanely good graphics that shows off the power of the ps5
Rift apart feels like the most next gen experience I’ve played so far, and you know what? I played on FIDELITY MODE! Game looks so good I chose to accept 30fps! (Other modes still look great though 👌)

It is amazing how far we have come in the video game industry. From ps1 graphics to now it’s crazy how unreal the words looks. Feels like a movie.

En PS5 se ve como una pelicula de Pixar, mientras que en PS4 se ve como una Serie animada en 3d. Lo digo porque las series animadas en 3d siempre pierden mucha calidad grafica a comparación de una Película.

@TODOtutos no digas prras mmadas brothersito, una ps4 base ni con su turbina de avión puede con este juego sólo con ver la cantidad de polígonos que se utilizan para manejar cosas como el pelo de los personajes es inimaginable pensar que una ps4 puede cargar esto además de el cambio instantáneo de mundos

Lo primero que noto es que el pelaje de ratchet de 2021 se ve más Real que el de 2016, y los colores de ps5 se ven más vivos y llamativos.
Y obviamente las texturas que fueron muy mejoradas, y la cantidad de NPC y particulas en pantallas es* mucho mayor

Rifts apart really use a lot of ps5 features and it is a great example of demonstrating the potential of ps5 can do. I hope I can see some games in the future can push the machine to it's limits.

The "remake" has honestly an awesome gaming value like the original, however it feels more like a soft reboot version of the first game than a remake like Resident Evil's. The faces of the characters look emotionless during a dialogue, the gadgetron vendor is annoying to you with it's pixelizer if not bought, too much background talking during gameplay, the same orchestral background music instead of bringing back the old ones, etc.
props to the team behind sony building the environments, models and texturing insane detail.
I remember the 2016 ratchet and clank looking amazing , now we reached a new qconsole generation that takes graphics to even higher levels like what they did with rift apart, for a platformer these are insanely good graphics that shows off the power of the ps5
Rift apart feels like the most next gen experience I’ve played so far, and you know what? I played on FIDELITY MODE! Game looks so good I chose to accept 30fps! (Other modes still look great though 👌)

Just finished playing the ps4 version looks really good and colourful cuz of all the flying bolts and weapons that bring out different colours starting rift apart now hope is just as fun

What i am very impress about this game is that there are no pre render cutscene at all. The game just jump straight into it.
@EIAnalistaDeBits Can I suggest when you do comparisons you change the color of the placed screen icons, for example ps4 to be Blue and ps5 to be red.

I've played both games. And I gotta say, Rift Apart looks very good, everything about it is absolutely stunning. I can't say the same for the 2016 remake, though... I mean, I guess it's okay for what it is.
