Maybe it’s childhood nostalgia, but no game franchise has worked it’s way into my heart as much as R&C. I’m so excited to play it. Crazy that it’s already Insomniac’s second PS5 release. They are doing such an incredible job right now and fully deserve to be known as one of the worlds best game studios.

Ye but their games aren’t lengthy. You could 100% miles morales in 15 hours. And a 16 hour campaign with 90% completed for rift apart doesn’t sound that long either. Even with challenge mode you’re looking at 25-30 hours of gameplay before it loses its flavour

@@MrSPIDEY21 How? The last game put out for Jak and Daxter was in November of 2009. This will be Ratchet and clanks 2nd game since 2016 and there is about 15 games in total in the franchise. Crash has 5 or 6 games including Crash team racing, which was released within the last year and the insane trilogy within the past 4 years. Jak and Daxter by no means have gotten more love.
Ratchet and clank is by far the best and most successful of them so it makes sense
@@beardofwar2009 Jak and daxter was a better/higher rated game and was praised way more...it’s not about why you think ratchet and clank gets more praise...the difference is ratch and clank was produced by imsomniac and jak was produced by Sony...Sony chose to not do more jak games...imsomniac chose to do more ratchet games...Sony has a hand in way more products while imsomniac is more focused on a smaller scale

Sure, but Last of Us 1 also released during E3 week, so not really an excuse. However, they probably got trailers lined up for Geoff’s show Thursday, they’re still in it they just don’t like the ESA.

They absolutely need an E3 show to explain why should keep trying to get that new $500 console they put out. Unless i'm forgetting something, this and Returnal the only major PS5 exclusives for 2021. That's it.

What we need is a Sly Cooper game running on next gen. He was always my favorite and the series is dearly missed. People love their stealth games and I'm sure the animation would be mind-blowing on the PS5. Now is the time!

Never played this series before and this is hands down, one of the most fun and yet, well-rounded game I’ve played recently. Such a great experience.
Rewatching this because of the PC launch in July!

Well Ratchet and Clank is a much bigger IP than Jak & Dexter or Sly Cooper, it’s hard to compare them to R&C.
Fun fact and slight spoiler. In Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart you can open up a dimensional Rift with a special gun, and drop Jak and Daxter into the battlefield. Along with many many other random items and characters from many other games. These items come through to your dimension and deal huge damage.

I'm barely 12% in and I'm loving this game! The dimension shifting and the way the dual sense feels. Amazing!

One of the series that still carries the platforming genre, really happy to have been a fan since the original ps2 trilogy era... Kinda also hoping this can spark the return of the rest of the platforming icons, Sly, Jak, Spyro, myb even more of Crash in the future

This is definitely not only a graphical showcase for the PS5 hardware. But a true showcase for the DualSense and haptic feedback controller. By far, the best visuals on the console.
For the PC, the vibration for XBox Series X/S controllers ain't too shabby either.
These guys' level design gets better with every ratchet and clank game

Was gonna buy this but found out you can't turn off adaptive triggers which breaks your PS5 controller, mine broke while playing miles morales after a few days the little springs cant handle that much resistance

Guardians of the Galaxy is a close one, gameplay is also similar to ratchet and clank. Really amazing game if you havnt played it yet.

Such a beautiful and stunning looking game. Ratchet & Clank looks amazing and Rivet is just gorgeous. Can’t wait to play it this Friday.
