This was great. My husband and I have to go to Cocoa Beach for doctors' appointments a lot and are interested in other things we can do to make the day more of a day trip than a chore. It takes us an hour to drive up there and now we know what to do. Of course, we've known about Ron Jon's for years but we didn't know about the other places you showed. Thanks.
It's pretty wild to be able to go to the beach year round. Even Vegas got snow once and a while. I can imagine how beautiful Scotland is this time of year though.
There’s a Beachwave shop on the way to Coco I’m sure the boogie board would’ve been cheaper there!!! I love Coconuts!! You should do a video on the Hilton Ocean front in Coco. It has private beach access an awesome outdoor restaurant & u can rent Sling Shots inside for a tour.. I love your video!!
The boogie board part was cracking me up cause we were just in Cocoa Beach on Friday. They had them at the 7-Eleven 😅. The Ron Jon one looks way cooler though haha The waves were so great. Our trip there was the best part of our trip to Florida. So much so that we would like to move there when our son graduates high school in a few years. We loved it there so much.

awesome road trip ! Definately on my bucket list when I get to Florida, just because of the related history to the Space Center !!!! The best Key Lime pie I ever had was in a restaurant near Seattle... the server talked me into it because he said the dessert chef was originally from Florida and knew what he was doing :-) I'm putting Key Lime pie on my Florida bucket list immediately ! thanks guys !
I spent a week there two years in a row back in 2001-2002. It's a good place for relaxation if you just want to be on the beach and go dining. But other than that there's not much to do. I got to know an astrophysicist who lived right next door to where I was staying on the beach. He was an interesting guy. The spring is the best time to go. After that it's brutally hor and muggy.
I am hoping to come for the summer with my little boy so this was an amazing way of getting to know the beach and the surrounding places. Makes me less nervous 😊 I am from England and I’ve never been to USA before so this is great as I love beaches! And hoping to go to Disney World Orlando after our beach days are over! 😌😎 Can’t wait! Ahhh...fond memories. Picture it, Cocoa Beach, 1995: I was out in the surf and up to just over my waist when something big...strong hit me in the right leg which took me off my feet. They say Jesus walked on water, I ran...or so it seemed. When I got back my leg was bleeding and I had what looked like someone would have taken a sander with 200 grit paper and ran it up my leg from my knee to my shorts. I was told then from the first responders and again when I told the story at Mote in Sarasota, that it was a bull shark...probably juvenile. Bull sharks will first ram their prey to stun them, then come back for the coupe de grace. That said...as a scuba diver for the past 25 years, that experience never deterred me once. I love diving in the ocean!
I miss Newport Beach in CA, I just don't miss CA in general. Cocoa has some cool vibes though. Love Keylime Pie. Narcoosse's at Disney used to have a Keylime Crem Brulee to die for.

Cocoa Beach is my favorite Florida location. Relaxed atmosphere, fun little beach town.

Florida water is a little chilly outside of hurricane season but not bad at all! I donno about those cold water spots. To cold to enjoy it. Haha.

There is a super tiny restaurant in front of coconuts which is outstanding. Need reservations

We’ve been there 4-5 times for Disney Cruises and stay in the Holiday Inn Resort.
