I think the thing people underrated about Lucina when the game first came out is how synergistic all her abilities are. They don't make a unit busted on their own just by having the ring equipped but Lucina enables your team to perform in busted ways. When everyone was just trying to make a team full of carries at release, the Lucina ring seemed under-powered to some, but the people who focus on team comps and understand just how much utility and advantage her abilities can bring to battle pretty quickly realized she's busted.
I think that’s true for a lot of rings. It’s easy to theory craft the best ring and skills for your favorite unit, but I think runs are better planned by choosing units to fit the rings rather than the reverse since every ring is usually going to be equipped to someone (but less than half of the units will be deployed). Planning this way also changes my view of units and classes versus trying to make a carry unit. Everyone loves to watch their favorite unit pop off with Lyn, but the best rings seem to be the support focused ones: Micaiah, Byleth, and Corrin, as well as Lucina, even though I can’t think of many units where one of these would be picked as the best for that unit.
The DLC class enchanter is qi-adept and has daggers… its gonna be the best class for alear bonded shield because it will give 100% bonded shield and allow poison stacking at the same time
Finally, a guide for the best girl of Fire Emblem. Also, I'm not sure if this is the first time you did a guide for an emblem ring, but I would like it if you did more.

I actually appreciate this. I was having trouble thinking up an optimal pairing for Lucina since I didn't keep any Qi Adept besides Seadall (who I want to be dancing rather than bond shielding on his turn). I was originally thinking that Qi Adept Lucina would be optimal, but I have her on Hortensia to bond shield all my fliers and it works well. I think putting her on Ivy or Hortensia makes the best use of dual assist since flying gives you the best range on it, and you can use Thunder for 3 range (no 3 range on other fliers). I'm doing the latter since I want Ivy doing more offense.
Been loving all your content since Engage released, only have one recommendations, is using video timestamps. I see some videos have them but not all. Things like tier lists showing each character and guides each section (you have this already on some) but otherwise awesome videos!
If you aren’t using warp/rescue strats in late game maddening, Lucina bonded shield strats are almost mandatory to push through the endless waves of reinforcements the game throws at you (especially chapter 25, which to me is way more difficult than the final one if you aren’t warping).
i didnt realize how busted bonded shield was until i use it on ch 13 maddening when i watched my alear let one of my units tank 5 enemy i was legit shocked .
One slight problem with bond shield is when enemies are faster, cause you wont guard the second hit unfortunately. I am at chapter 24 and enemies have insane speed, so I cant really bond shield through that. :D
You should definitely S support someone if you haven't yet. I don't care about it either but just give it to your strongest unit. It makes them and Alear very strong for the final few chapters
Best way to use lucina is on alcrest in his personal class... it makes it easy to walk him and 4 soild units into danger pop the engage switch to parthia for Double xp and pop bonded shields... alcrest really like to be in the mix for his personal to be up every turn and then the stat buff he gets is putting him up to over 50 % luna proc on double atk it's more useful then stacking 5 same type units this way plus he gets double xp for shielding or countering and he gets to chain atk from 2 or 3
Going off that dual support conversation, each unit in the game gives different amounts of adjacency buffs depending on what support type they are. This is not something the game shows you at all, but it’s in the data/files of the game. Someone already made a video with charts on what everyone’s type is, but it’d be cool if you’d do a video on good ways to take advantage of all the types
could you have a general guide on the mecahcnics of this game like backups, armor, and all the new mechanics like in this game not in other fire emblem games?
Yes, it will be last with Anna, almost done with the guides overall, I need to run Jean on a new save file to test him still. I ran him as a Qi Adept but he didn't do much because I just had him healbot so I need to try him on damage classes next
Due to my own personal bias Lucina never leaves Alear... really no strategic reason it's just personal bias which in turn makes it more difficult to determine a build I really want.
A bit late, but try Wolf Knight Alear; Daggers may be weak but they can inflict poison, cheap to upgrade and Lucina’s Dual Strike lets Alear stack Poison easily if you have a few Canter units to hit and run.
My favorite usage of lucina is putting her on a dagger user for the free poison stacks.
This is why I like her on veyle because she also gets a 90% bonded shield

Yeah I run her on Yunaka in my first playthrough, only issue is that the poison doesnt count during the attack, target get poisoned after the combat.

I've been enjoying Lucina on thief units for free poison stacks with her follow-up passives.
Don't forget wolf knight for 100% bonded shield on cavalry and an additional 1 range for the poison

I mention shooting down flyers/the double XP, but at this stage of the game its overkill to run it for XP gains
