    I had Toyota Solara 2007 already changed all new six ignitions coils and plugs in the shop. after 2 months check engine on code is P0352 ignition coil B primary secondary circuit. We try to change coil from 2 to 4 position and clear check code again still come out same code
    is P0352 ignition coil B primary secondary, the mechanic guy says may be the wires or computer. What you think and how to fix it? Please help?

    • @JaboTheMechanic
      @JaboTheMechanic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try switching the coils again. If that doesn't work. Than you might have a bad connector issue. If the connection is not the issue. Than from the connection from the ecu and the ignition coil you need to measure the resistance. If all checks well than ecu is the issue

    I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla with a code initially P0010, checked and everything seems fine, no broken wires on the OCV; this happened after I took the car to dealer to replace inflator on passenger air bag per a recall; have not checked if the tech knocked any wires or broke any so I erased the code; drove few miles car was losing power and acting weird until it shuts down on the road; would not start; close to home so once at home hooked up to my AUTEL scanner and now besides code P0010 I also have P0351, 52,53,54 for All 4 coils "open" then also got P0441, P0442 and P0446 with issues with the Evap system! I am wondering if all the other codes are related to P0010 or if the dealer actually screwed my car computer when resetting the airbag??? My car has a newly overhauled engine and drove around 200 miles on new engine without a single code; the car went and passed smog, got it register and next day took it to the dealer; after that all these issues started and I don't know if they were already there needing to look after or if it has to do with them; they claim the work in the airbag can not possible do any of it but the fact is that to work in the passenger airbag the tech needs to maneuver right around were all the cables connects to the car computer module which in my car is lower under the blower, below the airbag module. I am trying to learn about these codes and see if they are related but I hope it is nothing too serious; I got 4 extra coils, hopefully I did not destroyed the ones in the car now; I also ordered a new OCV even mine is a Denso one and reads 8.1 ohms and functions when power is applied. I need a little help understanding why this may be happening; I fixed this car myself took it all apart and redo many things needed but once turning the key it started without issues and now this..I am NOT a car mechanic but with some help I think I may be able to get it to run!

     @Jabo The Mechanic I am getting (p0351-p0356) codes on all 6 cylinders as well as a p0300, & (p0301-p0306) I am suspicious that it is a wiring issue or possibly a computer issue somewhere in line... The reason I say this is because the codes are intermittent.... the car will drive fine like nothing is wrong and then just start shaking and eventually it dies. I wouldn't think all 6 ignition coils would go out at once and I wouldn't think it would drive fine one minute, then crap out the next... wait 15 minutes and it cranks right up and acts fine... really weird... Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated... 2005 Toyota Avalon btw
