    This is great I have been looking for a video like this to show my son, we are starting private batting lessons today, but at least these are some pointers I can work on with him when we are at the field house in the cage! Thanks again!

    Really appreciate this video I was just saying TODAY to a friend that my son was starting to step in the bucket and I was envisioning someway to streamline his footwork. Perfect timing Coach thanks so much. My son and I really enjoy your channel.

    My eight-year-old doesn’t block his face but he’s stepping way out of the box so I think the parallel will be the first step. Awesome video. Thank you

    You nailed it. I have a 7 yr old who hits it really well when he's doing it right. He's a lefty, he's not very strong and he hits it best when he takes it the opposite field. He's developed the ole "step in the bucket problem" and its all because he's scared to get hit. Stepping out kills a kid who hits it best when he goes opposite field.

    Make a video about weighted balls how to use them when to use them and why to use them

    After getting hit in the face (black eye & broken nose), at age 8, my grandsons who loves baseball keeps stepping out. When mentioned, he says he's not. I think he's a little embarrassed and doesn't want to admit it. Pretty sure it's muscle memory now (7 yrs later). So this video is exactly what is needed - especially the part of putting the 2 bats down to keep the feet in. Gonna casually mentioned this and your channel to him and his 2 younger brothers w/o saying what it is for. Thanks so much.

    I played from 10u to 14u with no problem of this but this year in high school I do this every time I swing, but I only do this when facing a pitcher, I never do it in the batting cages or in soft toss and because of this I haven’t been able to square up balls, does anyone have any tips to help with this?

    my son actually takes a step towards the plate. Do you think this method of using two bats would also assist him to step towards the pitcher?

    • @UltimateBaseballTraining
      @UltimateBaseballTraining  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do. I think a very little inward step is okay, but if he's closing himself off then you need to work on that. Thanks for watching!

    If my LL coaches would’ve done the beanball drill with tennis balls I probably wouldn’t have quit baseball for tennis. Then again I was way better at tennis and it’s easier to keep playing that game for life, so I’m not complaining. But if I ever have a kid and he or she wants to play baseball or softball I will be out playing chin music for them with tennis balls thanks to this video. Thanks bud!!!

    I think the best tip is keep hitting off the tee over and over and over again until it becomes muscle memory

    This guy should be the hitting coach for the Yankees. Every one of the step in the bucket.

    How about just swinging the right way over and over again until it becomes ingrained in you and it's muscle memory!
