@@zerox8413 Origin downplayed a lot of his achievements to be less of a teen genius/engineer such as him creating the Haro, actually working on the Gundam maintainence and data. It also focused a lot more on his Newtype power such as him getting the vision of the Zeon force attacking the colony before the attack happened. Or him not keeping up with Char by midway point or having him flailing around even at the final sword fight with Char, while both in series and movies, they are a lot more even. Origin pushed this narrative of Char being this invincible, always right hero where his actions and failings are more obvious and compelling in the original series as well. At the same time, Origin always tried to nerf Amuro and his growth both in skills and characters. YAS is an incredible artist but I don't think he's as good a writer as Tomino is.
