I appreciate how you strive to give unique but straight forward pro tips. Your guidance has taught me to be a better video producer. Looking forward to your next video, Sean!
Sean, this video help me so much with compositions, I've never put point of interest into consideration nor have I heard it from any others. I just want to say thank you so much.
Wow this video is great. What I love about your tips are that they're not just a bunch of ideas on types of edits I can do, but it really changes the way I think and approach editing as a whole. I will definitely use these for future! Thank you so much for making this!
REALLY valuable editing tip. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to share quality, unique advice - this will help a lot when shooting too. Cheers.
Brilliant stuff mam! Considering how much stuff is out there you manage to give 5 great tips. A few I kind of new but you added a fresh perspective. If you can I would love to learn how you would film a brole sequence in a city or local park?
mate this is absolutely gold information! I've been seriously struggling a lot with cuts, flow, and cohesive shots and this video literally cleared everything for me. THANK YOU
Never disappointed! I would love to see more videos like these. I'm new to taking videos and a video on filming, editing, and equipment lingo would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, keep up the good work!
@@seankitching It is a must-visit for a guy like you. I, myself is an indie documentary filmmaker ( a side hobby, for I essentially work as a medical doctor). So, whenever you decide to come to Egypt .... look me up for any guidance and maybe collaboration. It will be my pleasure. My email address is (amenhotep.55@gmail.com)
Such great tips - I have not heard before and are super useful - eye/movement...and JUST IN TIME for my big edit project /upcoming youtube video 'from digital nomad to 9to5/nomad to local' where I go trough a lot of my travel footage. I would love to see more of those videos of you! 😀
Great editing tips, love what you said about getting the audience to want more. I think I am keeping my edits too long, I always want to show the entire shot. Thanks for the knowledge, cheers!
Can you make a video in how to edit in a mobile app? I used GoPro quick when I edit my videos and I want to step up my editing game but also I like the simplicity of a mobile app, any recommendation in what to do or how to make a video very cinematic?
Heya ! Just starting checking out your stuff, and wanted to ask if you edit while travelling or do you edit when you are back home ? Also what is your PC setup ? I know you use Adobe Premier, but wanted to know what type of Hardware you use ! Thanks
Absolute gold! One of best suggestions ever met ,thanks. One thing about your video recording most probably you know ,you are out of focus very often however your content so rich I did not care...loved and subbed ❤
I learned so much from your video Sean. I really liked the tip on that cutting to the beat and the part about the eye movement. Really great tips man cheers!
Awesome tips, the eye focus one is a great idea! I've been using the post production zoom on many of my videos i upload for that extra dynamic in movement 🙂
Hey Sean, since I’m so new I’m still trying to figure out how to cut and have smooth transitions between clips. I’m primarily a beauty/ lifestyle creator and if you have a video that covers editing 101 I’d love to watch!
i suggest you to learn how to use the camera transitions with your camera, it's very easy all you have to do it hold your camera and start filming. good luck.
Great job man! Your really are teaching me a lot about video. I'm just starting this journey. I've been a photographer for a Few years but need BTS and story now! Hope to meet you one Day !
Sean your content is just awesome! Keep it up! Would be interesting to know what's your work machine. Cause I see you don't use fancy stuff (mac or xps). Is that a pretty basic Zenbook? Do you work with proxies for videos?
Thank you so much! Hmm yeah it's not too basic but not anything crazy. I don't use proxies but it does get a bit laggy on some 4K footage when I have a lot going on. I go the maxed out version of this - www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-ZenBook-13-UX331UN/
@@seankitching thanks for your feedback! Much appreciated! Still nothing to compare to 2500+ macs, dells or razer other creators use or advertise. Every laptop and specs have their use, but you show what you can do with decently specd machinery too. Kudos for that! Looking forward for your next videos. Stay safe man!
I designed them to work across most cameras and settings so it doesn't matter too much. I like to shoot in Cine 4 ad pretty flat. I normally adjust the intensity of the LUT to somewhere between 20 and 60 % Hope that helps!
This is perfect timing! I’m new to filming and editing and I’m trying to soak up as much information as possible! Great video!
Bianca Tyler same here videos like this are so helpful

Do you shoot in 60fps for your slowmotion or do you shoot all 24fps? Love your style, new sub!
120fps scaled to 24 in post
I am interested in the luts. Do i use them on log or just on the normal footage?
You can change the intensity and tweak the settings to match most footage, just play around to see what works for you!
You deserve more subscriber and views!
