One tip is to use a China marker grease pencil instead of a Sharpie. The Sharpie soaks into the casting quite deeply, can bleed out, and is usually visible after blasting. Just one thing from working in the foundry world.
yeah I only use sharpie based on the color im using it lol

Great Videos, how do you rack/hang the wheels, are you using a threaded bolt and what kind of nut.. And what do you rest the wheels on in the blast cabinet..

Hey man love the vids, do you shoot totally cold ? I have the same gun, with an earth ground and I can’t get anywhere near that type of coverage shooting cold. Every small faraday area would be bare as shit If I tried to shoot cold,
You would be shocked how much I hear this. I know my gun was an early rendition andI hear rumors it was made by hand by an old guy. Before they started getting made in china. Mine has always been awesome andi dont have a good explanation as to why. I shoot cold.

I'm fairly new at it and never had to do wheels yet and I've seen different ways of it being done but how do you do the plastic center caps ?
I mostly don't. Occasionally I will get paint mixed to deal with them.

I wouldn't recommend that ever lol
This is the same epoxy primer used on all german wheels, really stubborn and can be very hard to blast off too
I am yet to find a chemical that removes it straight away

What do you about the center cap?do you coat them or are they plastic?
They are plastic on this wheel set. A paint store can often mix paint in a spray can
Are you using clear vision with the Illusion powders?
not usually, I dislike clear vision. I use tigers bengal clear.
What size compressor and sandblasted did you use?

my prices include prep work, so sort of varies, if there are extras I just sort of come up with a price and address it with the customer prior to accepting the job.
Why does the powder not adhere to the nut on the hanger?
