    Thanks to all the great advice for you and 710 Performance I think I’m going to finally start my own channel. You two have inspired me more then you will every know. I had a few small personal videos on my page but after picking both of your brains I’ve went out and invested in equipment like Pressure blasting pot, oven, media cabinet, rim strip and more. I’m sure I’ll have a lot of ups and down being green but I just wanted to thank you for your help. I do have one question though would you mind if in the description I put your channel ? If you don’t mind how would I do it? I’ve downloaded vids before but never saw a spot to add someone else’s channel. So again thank you very much. I know I have no clue how to edit videos or any of that stuff but I’m sure in time I’ll learn but please feel free if you ever have any down time check the channel out and if you see something I can do better or something I’m doing wrong please let me know. The only way I can get better is advice from people like you guys.

    Ps. All my questions will still come from this channel and now GMMB&PC

      Of course man, glad to hear you are getting motivated! I think you can just link channels in the description. I have never tried. I shoot all my videos on my phone and edit with an app called InShot pro. Its AWESOME and I highly suggest it.
      Ill help where ever I can and good luck with it all!

    I've always practiced never touching things barehanded before coating because of skin oils only because I've read that you shouldnt. Dosent seem to give you problems, what do you recommend?

    • @UnknownCoatings
      @UnknownCoatings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      well just like you said, doesnt give me problems. now to be fair, I live in utah where its SUPER dry, and I think that plays a huge role in it. I cant expect everyone to follow my lead but I have NEVER once had a problem with it, so until I do, its likely I wont change.

    Love the video I’m just getting into the powder coating game myself and have been using your videos as a guide. I’m looking to powder coat a Holley sniper intake like this but a transparent gold color. If I wanted the raised letters on the intake in black what would you recommend?

    • @UnknownCoatings

    On the areas that you put the high temp tape, why can you not just mask off with regular low tack masking tape so no powder gets on those areas ? Carefully pull tape after spraying powder and before putting in the oven. Touch up with finger on edges if necessary like on raised valve cover letters, then bake.

    • @UnknownCoatings
      @UnknownCoatings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      why would anyone do that? lots of reasons not to, cant think of one beneficial way unless you just dont want high temp tape?
