I have watched EVERY shadow wrap heel tutorial as well as reading every shadow wrap heel instructional post. This is, by far, the clearest explanation out there. Thank you SOOO much. And thank you also for your well-modulated, calm and soothing speaking manner. It helps mitigate the incipient panic of learning a new technique. LOL

I laughed when you said if it was too slow the viewer could speed it up as I replayed the video for almost every twin stitch on my first heal and then every triple stitch/ new triple on the return. Thank you so much for this repetitive real time knitting instruction. I’m sure you would have run out of patience if you had to go at my pace. But replay has no limit to patience ❤. Hint to new sock knitters: soft fuzzy 100% alpaca in dark purple is not a good choice for your first sock attempt. Only plus is the numerous mistakes won’t show very much.

Denise - That is one fabulous looking heel. I love the look of it, and how simple it is to work. No more getting lost on boomerang rows! The video was great: I could see you make all the stitches, and your explanations of what your hands were doing as you made the twin and triple stitches were simple, clear, and in time with your hand actions. That speaking while doing timing is quite an accomplishment. I can't wait to try this heel out. Thanks, Janet

I finally just completed my sample Shadow Wrap Short Row Heel! W0w! I have studied studied and studied this "new to me" pattern and am soooooo proud to have completed a sample. I have PHD "Project Half Done" a pair of socks on two circular needles up to the heel and am now ready to continue with putting on the Shadow Wrap Short Row Heel since I have completed my practice heel. Thank you Denise for teaching this procedure for the heel on socks and for teaching the "knitting two socks on two circular needles.....it has been quite an experience for me to learn both of these things. God bless Denise and continued success on your podcast. I am 78 years old and proud that I was able to learn these two procedures from your teaching.

A few years back, I made my first sock ever following your No Fear Shorty Sock! I wanted a new heel that would be easier, but I wasn't experinced enough to really understand the Fishlip Kiss pattern. (I guess I'm more a visual learner). Just as I master the heel, flap& gusset, this comes along (in my feed). I have been subscribed for a while. I have watched a number of your sock tutorials, but this one has quickly become one of my favorites. I'm working on TAAT socks now. My first heel was a hot mess. Totally my fault. Then, after studying your tutorial and doing the second heel? Perfect. And I went back and ripped out the first (mess) and redid it so it was also the way it should be. Thank you so much for the time you take in creating these tutorials. As everyone has said before me, your clarity, patience and calm are gold. This will be my heel of choice now, and I have you to thank for showing me such a (relatively) simple heel technique to make socks even easier.

Your voice is so soothing and your technique and explanation so clear. Thank you so much! I’m sure this will be my go-to heel technique in the future.God bless you .
