1st card would have to say: "Target spell loses "this spell can't be countered", then counter that spell"

Kirby has the same problem as original Hostage Taker; needs to say "another" or it's a one-card infinite blink engine.
As for the ‘nuh uh’, I think if you rewrote it to say something along the lines of ‘Target spell that has an ability preventing it from being countered loses that ability until end of turn, then counter that spell.’ that could work. I don’t know.
i'm pretty sure that would work yes the wording a little off but should function as intended, like with Arcane Lighthouse that gets around hexproof and shroud by saying creatures your opponent control lose hexproof and shroud (until end of turn and cannot gain those keywords) while not the same thing as un-counterable it is a card that gets around cards with tricky evasion mechanics

Actually now that I’m really thinking about it, you’d probably want to word it as a modal spell that says ‘pick one or both’ and then one mode takes away the ability that prevents countering, and the second mode says ‘counter target spell.’ That way it could be used for other spells as well, since that seems to be the intent of the person who made the ‘nuh uh’. The way I worded it initially would make it so that if the spell doesn’t have one of those abilities, and therefore isn’t a valid target for the first part that takes that ability away, then you can’t counter it.
Or just “exile target spell”
@@snakeorbreak6258 that would succeed in ‘countering’ it, but it would have a slightly different outcome in that the spell would end up exiled instead of going to the graveyard.

Just remember, cards bypass most written rules if it specifys that it does.
For “Nuh uh” to work, it would have to be worded like, “Return target spell to its owner’s hand, then the controller of that spell discards a card with the same name as the spell returned to hand.” 😂
4:45 you may only cast a legendary sorcery if you control a legendary creature or planeswalker.
All Enter Divinity really does is make your next enchantment untargetable by removal. The only other potential benefit is that it may bypass the Legend Rule for legendary enchantments.
Isn't it just straight up can't be removed instead of just untargetable
Enter Divinity, Solitary Confinement = GG (can't sacrifice it, it's not a permanent)
I added a clause for that in the brackets for cards like this (Nine Lives was my go-to card) - its considered an enchantment on the field for triggered effects like that, so it'd get sacced. The phrasing of it might not be perfect though, I admit.

That Cid Kagenou's "stays revealed" thing is trying to do a paper version of "perpetually" I think.
Kindred killing could be 1B, except vs black or colorless creatures you don’t need to spend the 1.

Purchased treachery it danger. There are cards like Zur the enchanter that have a benefit when they attack that no longer have the risk of being blocked by an opponent. Also free lifelink.
The bus has haste Incase you can't cast it for Ninjutsi so you don't just play it and have it die at end of turn, genius...

something like that, since emblems also operate from the command zone
wdym? it's too seperate effects "counter" and "this card bypasses cannot be countered", not "counter" and "if the spell cant be countered attempt to counter again". sure it could use better wording but the word "anyways" makes it very clear. It would 100% counter a card that cant be countered. when any card, event, whatever in almost any game states the rule it intends to breaks, or ignores it, it becomes the exception to the rule. this is basic board game / game knowledge in general.
Oh mage of denial ignores more then just supreme verdict...ignores blasophic act, brothers end, world fire, ect. (My card :) ....side note i mostly play alchemy on mtgo
The problem is that Nikachu is reading the cards like they're written rather than how they're SUPPOSED to be written. A lot of custom cards are made by people who don't understand the rules or templating really well and use the wrong words. Need to guess what they were going for.
For example: Bringer of the Pain is almost assuredly supposed to say "Damage equal to the amount of mana used to cast it" because the writer thought if you pay WUBRG, it changes the converted mana cost of the card (and it doesn't). Also it doesn't work in the rules to have it be an ETB trigger if it references casting as the card will forget what was used to cast it once it enters the battlefield (zone change, no memory of previous existence on the stack). It needs to be a cast trigger, like Prossh, or a "as this enters" replacement ability like anything that references X (but then it can't target, so that's bad).
Ah I may just remove all last names from the cards, Touhou Titles are just THAT long. Also Sorin had a PW version of himself with lifelink so yeah PW can have lifelink.
