Any glue that's made for phone screen/lcd works. As long as you do not fail to glue the lcd. Also duck tape works if you're lazy af and wants the screen to not be popped out.
I started out with a bad battery that I replaced myself by watching TH-cam videos. The charging port was reading the charger but the battery was not charging. I had a really hard time taking the battery out. It was really stuck on there. Anyway I eventually got it out with damaging the old battery only. The new battery went in easy with no problems and everything works now. The new problem that developed was the top right corner on the screen pops out and does not stay pushed in. I will attemp to do what you did in this video soon. Right now, I'm busy with work but I'll get to it eventually. :)

Anyway - it appears to be on the top right corner only. When I pressed on that side it appeared to have a little light in that area. I'm assuming this is normal and I should still be able to remove the screen as you expertly described, glue and put back together? The only thing I questioned was the little light on the corner.

Prior to repair were you still able to make the display frame/LCD sit flush with the metal body? Besides having the screen separation, I opened my display and decided not to glue the thing (not really a concern), but now I'm having trouble clicking the metal rails down and the display won't lie flush on the side rails. I made sure the EMI shield, camera and display backplate are flat but I just can't seem to make the display assembly lie flat could you give me an idea of what I'm missing? Thanks

When I started watching this video I thought that maybe I scraped off the glue, or busted it when it dropped, but then @ the 5:10 mark I realized that I made a stupid fatal error. IT'S NOW FIXED- I USED A PIECE OF SCOTCH TAPE. AND I DON'T CARE CAUSE THE BATTERY IS WORKING GREAT.

I have this problem on my iPhone 5, the top (mostly top right) is lifting and when i try to push it back it stays down for only a couple minutes but then slowly lifts back up. I don't think this is caused because of the battery. I act think that its caused by overheating which softens the adhesive allowing the screen to pop loose. Anyone know what this might mean. I don't have a repair kit screw driver or anything available so fixing might not be as simple for me. Thanks in advance

Okay so I have a problem, so my screen has been loose for a while and yesterday it went all navy blueish like it was on but I couldn't see anything. So after messing around with it I ended up sticking my nail in between the screen and the rest of the phone and it works as long as I keep my finger there but I need help to get it back to normal cuz it only works when the left side of the screen is lifted
i believe so. My touch screen was unresponsive as the screen was loose. When I tape it down with sticky tape, the touch screen is responsive again. I guess by glueing it, it works the same way as well.

Repair that immediately because if your not, your phone will be broken. It's a little bit expensive but iphone is more expensive. And I also learned the proper taking care of the battery. You need to charge when your phone is lowbat, don't over charged. It's okay sometimes if you drain your phone. Sometimes. Because it's healthy in your iPhone and also in other gadgets. :D
This is For Iphone 5. For Iphone 5s, you will need to be very careful after you pry open the screen since there is another cable for the fingerprint sensor at right underneath the home button. Pull open to fast and you risk losing that button!
I am gonna try it on my iPhone 5c .. I'll let everyone know if it works or not but my condition is my screen is popped our obviously but when u turn on the phone u see a light shadow if grey and that's it .

Sounds like you are using loctite flexible adhesive, but which one as there are a few variants?

The screwdriver set you can buy them in any Chinese shop or ebay, they cost 4 dollars .
I have the same problem but for me the screen goes dim and wierd it doesn't have an affect on my touch but still is a pain in the ass to look at

you could, but if you put a bit of excess glue you will damage the screen. Rather buy the screw drivers which cost 1 euro/dollar

i believe so. My touch screen was unresponsive as the screen was loose. When I tape it down with sticky tape, the touch screen is responsive again. I guess by glueing it, it works the same way as well.
