Nullarbor Flooded! | Where Are We Going To Stay? | Can We Get Through?

- After battling through the red dirt and mighty trucks of the Pilbara, we land at Kalgoorlie for a couple of nights to get some R&R before crossing the Nullarbor. Once we take off, it soon becomes evident that this road may close very soon as conditions got challenging. We drive well into the night and all while it rains. Where are we going to stay?

Got to the part where you're outside cooking up a storm and all I hear is "Lovely - I'm cooking dinner and she's taking a dump right next to it" As if that wasn't bad enough, then Laura says something about "Just enjoying the view"
I'd forgotten totally that you guys have a dog and I'm like wtf!!!! Your missus is sitting out there having a crap in front of you cooking a barbeque!!! Had to rewind to get my head around that bit - so glad you have Coco!!!

You can't go wrong with Maxxis. Have had them for 4 years and they're amazing. Had BFG in the past and it was like being on ice skates when the road was a tiny bit greasier. Better traction on Maxxis in Mud/Sand as well and no road noise, cheaper, better availability... they're awesome basically. BFG killer

I ordered a rear bar for the 300 - you can put 2 spares on it. Where the spare was you can put in another fuel tank.

Maxis are not as stronge in the side wall than BFG. I guarantee when you drop the pressures for the outback gravel tracks you will suffer a puncture or 2 .

Hey Troy ‘n Laura even though I’ve never traveled across the Nullarbor even I could have told you how expensive fuel was going to be. Unfortunately the fuel companies take huge advantage of not many petrol stations, hens the reason for high fuel prices, but hey we all learn about travelling long distances by car and not being able to carry with you all the fuel you need to cross the Nullarbor. Those few places you stayed at looked pretty good. Great video, thanks.

Maxis are a good tyre 👍 Next time you use the bladder to fill the tanks will be easier to pump it from the bottom hose ( breather as you called it). You were pumping out of the top hose ( filler)

Good information, with tyre, to cut weight just carry the tyre on roof rack or piggyback on caravans one. With the tyre/rim underneath you should be set.
You will find someone to fit to rim.
