The reason I searched this particular video was because I was curious to see how much the market and economy has changed until now! Watching this video made me realize how much of a difference inflation is. A platinum nowadays will cost anywhere from 80k to 100k. So roughly 50k for Platinum’s back then.
I just got this in grey its so nice inside, more things than I know how to use, It will take a while to learn it all, and the step assist in the back tail is awesome !
I love it, it does need a pc update it gives me fake outs that I have a flat or something, but I know the truck its solid. I move to Dublin next month. I have to get rid of it and get something small like a mini cooper - they are great had one before. My inlaws keep reminding me '' you know you can't have a big truck like that here'' I can't say I ever saw a pickup truck the entire two years I lived there before. Its too bad jeff sessions doesn't recognize marriage for immigration. I really liked my clinic and all my patients, some of them cried when I told them I was leaving. I will miss the truck and a lot of things.
I fly out on Feb 20th - So trying to sell it - and the trailer I lived in the last year or so. I can't wait to see my husband 3 1/2 years apart has sucked ! :D
Just got a 2012 gray platinum like this with 70 k on it. Very nice truck. I bought it for 29000. On my way home I tried the rear window and it opened just fine but wouldn't close. Got it closed the next day with some wd40 and air blower. The heated drivers seat barely works so I need to get that fixed. Everything else is awesome! Love this truck and it's like driving in luxury. Hooked my phone up and everything works with the touch screen.
make sure the pc has had an update the problems I have had are related to that - I also stream blue tooth from my phone and listen to podcasts and such :D
The HD edition is all about luxury and looks a lot better than the platinum....the HD edition is probably the sickest pickup that you can buy off any lot
@@LivingOnlyOfficial that truck held up extremely well and the motor never gave me any issues. I now own a 2017 F150 Platinum with the generation 2 Ecoboost and I am loving it as well! It has a 10 speed transmission and more power and torque!
yes there the same but ford has more power do some research. im a chevy fan so just saying the facts here im also getting a platinum this year or early next year
That color is great in person. I am going to choose it over the black. (and I had nothing but black interior in mind when I test drove it) This color makes the truck look super classy and refined. The black leather interior has the fake wood grain plastic around the stereo and shifter. UGLY! Go check on out in person...you will see what I am saying about the color when you sit in the truck!
