Julien Baker is a once in a generation musician. Her voice here is crazy, but I will tell you she is the best guitarist ive ever seen live. she is sick. Writer, singer, player, ... sick!
Stumbled on to this video, and have listened to it 10 times tonight. Something about this is mesmerizing. It just seems authentic, simple, and powerful.
This rendition gave a whole new tone to this beautiful and sad song. It felt like spring was blooming right at the end. You could feel the delicacy they had while making this arrangement. And while Julien's voice sounds amazing in the original, it really only grew with the addition of this whole orchestra. Thank you! Very much in tears right now ;-;
