Since 2010 ITV's Downton Abbey has delighted the nation with its upstairs, downstairs stories of love, loss and family. As masters and servants carry on while the country prepares for the First World War the grand country house sees its fair share of family conflagrations while below stairs the staff have their own troubles.
Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern lead the cast which includes Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Phyllis Logan, Sophie McShera, Maggie Smith, Penelope Wilton and Rob James-Collier.

From THOMAS's side, he was rather invited back to a house in a higher position where he was seen as a candidate fit for downsizing. The epic justice was that how earlier Mr.Carson told him on one occasion that he was a creature of past, today Mr.Carson actually became the creature of PAST, obviously he was aged and had to retire due to his health issue.
Also for Thomas, the house where he took over was rather a sinking ship than Downton under the new Mary's regime.
And then replaced again in the movie

Sorry the series ended, I enjoyed it immensely (as millions around the world did as well) Maybe another Downton type series, spin off??? Well who knows, would be nice. By the way, Rob so very handsome!!! Well done to all associated with this marvelous show.

Love Downton Abbey. Love these 2 guys. However as an American I have a hard time following what's being said here or what it means. Got bits and pieces is all.
One time I went back into all 6 seasons and both movies and watched all the Thomas Barrow scenes only. Lol. Got a bit obsessed I guess. 😂

I really like James-collier but I have noticed on this interview and others, he doesn't give the other person much of a chance to talk.
Oh he did an interview from this other movie he was in The Ritual and he spat out like two sentences at the very most but yeah i noticed that
That's just how he is. You should go look up the video for the interview he did on Sunday Brunch last year. He didn't even give the interviewers a chance to talk. It was hilarious!
I don't mind at all, I only watch the interviews because of him!
I've noticed that he talks more when the next person is more introverted or a junior actor who's more anxious about the interview.
so in a way, i feel that he's trying his best to help the other interviewee.

They are making a movie as you may know , I just noticed your post was made a year ago.
Fun fact, when he first started, he had to change part of his name so that he wouldn't get confused with another actor in the industry, which is why his name is a bit unusual.

+Merlin Arthur Oh totally agree; writing was rubbish; too many plotlines; far too rushed; pointless story about Mrs Patmore at the expense of Thomas and Edith.
+Meskiagkasher To be fair I don't think it was homophobia but just bad judgement and I don't think Fellowes is as brilliant as his reputation. Don't know if you have seen the Xmas trailer but Thomas seems a lot happier hopefully a better new start awaits.

1:00 HA! Not in America... In America we bleed a program dry! We squeeze every last drop out of it until it’s so terrible and boring that the network cancels in for poor ratings. That could take 10 seasons or 20! There’s no such thing as “going out on a high” over here. 😂
(Except Game of Thrones. They knew when to stop. 👏🏼👍🏼🙌🏼. But “The Walking Dead” for example, is letting itself become an absolute dumpster fire.)

@@m.b3839 ahah literally same! I stopped a few years ago, right around the time they butchered their only good storyline since season 5. Was shocked it was still going. Will definitely be curious to see how the final episode plays out tho. The sad part of it is, the only feasible reason it was still going is because it makes money and generates jobs/job security. Which is a fickle thing in this industry... lol
