Hearing the distinct voices of the core Muppet performers in both is a treat.

Great work, Emma. I first heard "When the River Meets the Sea" on the John Denver Muppet Christmas album. Wendel's voice sounded so familiar and it took me a while to figure out he sounds like "Hey, I just fired you!" from the Goblin City battle (Labyrinth 1:25:47).

Deep dive only 10 minutes shorter than the movie 😅 my mom grew up watching this and so I did too. The artistry is really impressive. The story is meant to be set somewhere like the Osark region which my family is from in that time period so my mom really connects to it

Then got the vhs later on and seen it quite a few times since. 32:40 SAME!!! Christmas stresses me out! And it doesnt help that my sister is SO materialistic and critical. She'll complain about not getting enough presents, be jealous of anyone who has more than her, and criticize gifts as she's opening them... to your face... in front of the whole family... I would barely get any sleep during Christmas break because i'd be up all night trying to craft a ton of extra sh*t that she would ACTUALLY like... just so that our family christmas could run smoothly. Did i mention that she's over 40 yrs old and acting like this? It's so embarrassing. Mainly, because of her, i get anxiety from even just listening to christmas radio. I'm 30 now and this was the first christmas i spent with just me and my bf and it was the BEST no obligations and no stress. Someday i hope to like christmas again like when i was a little kid. I really like the idea of it: good food and quality time.
