- While Cardinal Fernandez frequently quotes a particular text from the Catechism of the Catholic Church he ignores others that are essential for giving a balanced understanding of the moral issues he frequently addresses.

Thank you for sharing. Your point on the Church's teaching on the INTRINSICALLY EVIL NATURE of some moral acts is a critical one.
Thank you for the truth
Thank you Ralph. I wish I could pass this on to my grown children that are away from the Church. But I know they won’t watch it. It’s not totally their fault. I was a fallen away Catholic most of my life. I didn’t raise my children Catholic. They went to Catholic schools and received their sacraments. But we didn’t go to church. I have learned more about my faith from listening to you and Peter than I have from my priests. We are starving for the truth, so we can live our best lives. Thank you so much, and may God Bless you all.🙏🙏🙏
thank you for sharing many prayers for you and for your children 🙏☦️✝️
Be not afraid! Your prayers will bring your children to Jesus.
Not exactly the same for me, but very close to the same. Grown kids, 2 sons, college and law school did a number on them and they were late in their 30s to be confirmed, but are so leftist in their politics it's just hard to watch now how this radical Marxist pope is NOT helping them to really hunger for truth and righteousness and Jesus teachings to really LEARN the Catholic faith. Pray for us. 5 grandchildren need their parents to be converted. I have to pray and not worry, but it is hard when you see them so 'into the world.' :(
Really cant understand how Fernandez is in the position he is in after his filthy books have come to light!!! And this is the person at the head of this very controversial document on same sex blessings!!!
May God protect His church from all evil.
God bless you Ralph and all true Catholics.
Thank you for being honest with us.
Thank Dr Martin for bring a good watchman and sounding the alarm. Woves in sheep's clothing are among us. We must be in the right church if satan wants to tear it down!
We need more of this truth!
Your cries to God will be heard, Ralph ❤
Amen Amen May God Bless you dear Ralph.
Best video yet. Our churches are lukewarm, the people, priest and laity need to wake up and stand for Christ. He stood up for us, why can we not stand up for him. We need to stop worrying about hurting people's feelings and worry about God's wrath. God Bless you in speaking the truth.
God will not be mocked! Pray for us Holy Mother that we may be worthy of the promises of Christ!
Amen
Thank you Dr Ralph 🙏 May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen and encourage you 🙏 ❤️ 🙌
Almost from the onset of Francis's papacy the Holy Father has unfortunately instilled a feeling of discouragement into the hearts and souls of many faithful Catholics. Saint Paul has much to say about this. (Ephesians 6:1-4) 21 "Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they will not become discouraged." Canceling the Latin Mass is one of many examples. Thank you Dr. Martin for your commentaries which are so loving and truthful and help me with MY discouragement these days
Well said!🙏
Thank you Dr. Martin for your clear teaching of the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ in love. May God Bless you. Please continue to teach us. The faithful remnant really needs you and your ministry in this dark and chaotic time. 🙏🎯
Dear brother, Ralph, it is such a palpable sadness and consternation we see in your face as you deliver this news and consequently, delivering to us your resolute study of the catechism regarding culpability of sin, especially grave (and successively more accepted sins). But I am grateful that you have shared this with us at a very "acceptable time," for our own conversion during Lent! There is not one who can look introspectively and see oneself too often choosing to yield to that which pulls us from the grace of God. Your teaching here makes it all-too-tender and REAL. My attachment to sin keeps me at a distance from the Lord of Life. He has miraculous torrents of grace for us which we perhaps often refuse because of this attachment.
Thank you (continually), for your courage and faithfulness in the Lord! Ralph, you help us, as the faithful, learn to stand in His Truth. You and your friend Peter act in the Holy Spirit's prophetic mission. Pray for us, friend.
Thank you Dr. Martin. Please keep making these videos. You don’t lecture us- you teach with great love. Some of us feel like we’re hanging on by a thread! 🙏
Correct! God hates sin & so should we.
Jesus, set us free from sin!
Thank you, Ralph. You speak with "Truth in Love." Mother of Sorrows, pray for us, Amen 🙏
Lord have mercy, I’m not catholic, but it’s disturbing to hear people in church leadership teach such things and think they are serving the Lord.we need to pray more for church leaders everywhere.
Thanks be to God for Ralph Martin, a voice of Truth in our times.
Well reasoned. Sadly we are not hearing this from anyone in the Vatican.
Unbalanced is a very kind word 😉
I love and appreciate you Mr. Martin. Thank you for your conviction to the truth of God.
Thank you, Ralph. ❤❤❤ You speak truth. Please keep holding us accountable to Jesus and His Word.
Thankyou for the truth spoken from the heart with true wisdom. It certainly gives us hope and courage. ❤️
Thank you Ralph. Spot on message. As time goes forward, you and your ministry are in my prayers.
I am very grateful that you share these clear teachings with we lay people on TH-cam. You are such a blessing and a gift! Thank you Dr. Martin
Love the Blessed Mother! Never, ever let go of her guiding hand that will lead us to Jesus. Pray as never before - especially the Rosary (daily) for her intentions.
Thank you for this. Good to hear truth. Compromise is a no no . I personally have been on the other side of this and can share that purity is so much better. I have been blessed by God's grace to avoid those who would lead me into sin. I am relying on the power of the Holy Spirit to help me. May the Grace of God be with you all in this battle with sin.
Thank you Ralph. You are a wonderful light in all this confusion. I've read your book and given copies to triends
Thank you. Thank you for such clarity. Truly, the path they are attempting to lead us to is not Jesus’ path for us. Blessed be God that Jesus is Christ! Protect us Father God. Thank you.
Much wisdom here from Ralph . Appropriate podcast at the beginning of Lent.
Amen! Thank you for speaking the truth!
Amen,Amen, and Amen again Ralph!! Exactly right, absolute Truth! You must have been listening to the Holy Spirit and Our Lady! Please continue to preach it brother! 🙏🔥❤️🔥
"There is nothing as devious as the human heart". I'm convinced that this rationalism of our heart's desires, is the crux of Modernism in the Church. "Confession" helps immeasurably to restore clarity. God bless and have a fruitful Lent. 🙏😊
Thank You for this. Scripture is clear -- THERE WILL BE A JUDGMENT! St. Faustin's diary makes it clear that it is God's desire to extend mercy to all those who seek it. Calling sin "not sin" creates the real possibility that at that moment of judgment, a person will refuse to seek mercy for actions he has, through the teaching of leaders in the Church, has come to to believe that it is not a sin.
May I add my sincere gratitude for this magnificent necessary talk.
Thank you Ralph it's so good to see you
Thank you for speaking the truth!
God bless you and your Ministry!
Beautiful! Thank you, Ralph Martin.
Thank you, Dr Martin, for stating the problems and the truth so clearly. Yes, I wish the Vatican would state the truth of Christianity clearly but they appear to have lost the way.
Thank you. God bless you Dr. Martin.
It really makes me wonder why would I pray for my relatives and family return to the Church? The craziness of the Francis pontificate is almost more than anyone can handle. It makes me ask myself, why do I even stay in the Church? I do believe it’s the true church, but even at mass - trying to keep myself focused on the fact that in spite of the craziness, Jesus still becomes present in the Eucharist. I am educated with an MA in pastoral and theological studies, but I find myself depressed about this whole thing. Please pray for me.
I felt the same way when FS first came out. Now, I am at peace. I recognize that this current Pope will soon be gone. Let's hope and pray for a truly holy Pope next time. 😊
What courage you have for speaking Truth so clearly. Catholic teachings in school and pre-marriage prep must be spoken boldly about what Christ wants in intimacy in marriage. Very basic acts of love is the only way in marriage and Only for procreation....period. 2 weeks ago I had to repent of these sins. Praise God. ❤
Thank you for the clarity. Praise God
“We will not drift into the kingdom of God, we have to make an effort!” Absolutely. I made a video on this topic, and it did not do very well. This apparently is not a popular topic in 2024.
Thank you Dr Ralph 🙏
Outstanding. Thank you for your words of hope and truth to begin Lent.
Dr. Martin, thank you for your always excellent commentary. I would very much appreciate if you would provide an expanded discussion of Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18, on "binding and loosing," from a Catholic perspective. How broadly can a pope apply this authority to change or loosen? Does this apply narrowly, or does it encompass a much greater latitude, especially when exercised by a pope? Thanks in advance.
Thank you Ralph. This is so pure and precious. May the Holy Spirit shine his light into our souls and reveal all that needs to be repented of and changed. If we ask Him, grace will not be lacking for it is the desire of the Father's heart that we be holy as he is holy. We are created in his image and likeness and when we come before him at the end of our lives he expects us to resemble him. If we don't, he will tell us he never knew us and doesn't recognize us. People need to think more about the 4 last things. This isn't my idea. Our Lady said it at one of her apparitions. We need to meditate on Hell. We need to meditate on the fact that if we go there is is forever. It is eternal. We need to think hard about Our Lord's words when he says enter through the narrow gate. We also need to meditate on the holiness and purity of God and the fact that nothing impure can survive in his holy presence. If we are not in a state of grace when we die we will be unable to endure his presence. We would envy his holy beauty and create a war in heaven. We also need to meditate on his holy beauty. The saints in heaven are aware of their beauty and they know for sure and certain that it is a share in the divine beauty. St. John of the Cross said, "Let us go out and look at ourselves in thy beauty."
The soul in heaven shares in the divine nature. We are called to become by grace what he is by nature. So let us strive to enter through the narrow gate for on the other side of the gate is everything we long for and were created for. Love and blessings!
Dr. Martin I so appreciate your ministry and always look forward to new videos. This is I agree is one of your best. Thank you for the courage you have to speak the truth. We live in a world that so tries to rationalize and water down what sin is. Thank you for spelling it out so clearly.
God Bless you 🙏
Thank you Mr. Ralph🙏🏻 as you said in this vídeo, we need to say de Truth to people, we need to accept the Truth in us...about the Gospel, the Catechism. God Bless
Preach it bro Ralph! 🙏🏽❤️🔥🕊️🙌🏽
Amen 🙏
Thank you for this. Always strengthening and uplifting ❤️
Thank you , so needed in our times !
Thank you I have often heard paragraph 1735 quoted not knowing it was a quote from the CCC. It made me uncomfortable because I felt that there was more to it. I so deeply appreciate your teaching today. I plan to use it in my teaching. Thank you for clarifying 1735.
Ralph Martin is a beacon of light in a sin darkened world. The blessing of homosexual couples is contrary to Our Lord’s teachings. The Lord wants us to be fruitful and multiply the number of people on Earth.
Thank you from Ontario Canada ❤❤❤
Thank you! I am reading The Church in Crisis and am almost finished, excellent book.
Shaken, shaken, is the church. Sifting, sifting, for the good of what is to come. Shedding light, shedding light. Let it be, for Truth and Holiness will remain. All else is dust.
Thank you for all your work in sharing the truths of Christ - and the "hard sayings/ teachings" of scripture that the present hierarchy seem to be embarassed about, or are trying to explain away.
God used Mother Mary to humiliate the proud Satan!!! Same way God is using Holy humble laymen to teach the morality to the Proud Clergy men !!!
Thanks Ralph for lying it on the line. God help us.
Isn't Cdl Fernandez trying to groom the faithful to believe that sinful behavior can be "made holy"?
And, wouldn't this ultimately lead to stating that "objectively disordered" attractions and behavior is not a problem but a gift?
Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, immodesty, luxury, idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, quarrels, dissensions, sects, envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like...
I may be mistaken, but I think Fr. Rupnik has been incardinated in a diocese in Slovenia. According to the NCRegister, Rupnik “continues to live an unrestricted life at his art center In Rome.”
It seems too many "religious" authors envy King David and King Solomon.
I would like to hear @christopherwestofficial 's take on the Cardinal's appointment and history from the perspective of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body.
decolores! God will straighten out this mess
