It was a long-awaited meeting with Niki. Finally, we met in Bangkok, in Lumpini Park. In this interview, I asked a lot of juicy questions, such as his life before the current situation in Russia and his plans for the future, whether he is going to return. Would you continue your university studies in some sort of distance learning program, maybe an international one or one of a country you like? Maybe when you settle down somewhere? It would be very interesting, especially now! It could turn out to make you qualified for interesting jobs! You could stay abroad, maybe work in journalism or have other opportunities!
Could you also explain, what it was like to study political science in Russia? Did the study topics change in 2013? What jobs do political science studies lead to in Russia? Maybe you could also just talk about the educational system in Russia? It would also be interesting, if you learn foreign languages in school. Did you need english skills at the university? Have a thought about, what you would consider to share about those or similar topics. It would be nice to hear them.
You really cannot help but like Niki. Such a modest, honest and interesting guy.
Niki is very likeable but he's a wasted talent. He doesn't do anything but make videos and wander around the world. He dropped out of uni and has no qualifications that could help fulfil his potential as a proper journalist or whatever.
@@streaming5332 Points taken. But Niki is not a journalist or reporter. He’s a Vlogger showing his life and journey along with his location.
People like that and don’t like journalists who are generally biased and pushing their political agendas. Niki doesn’t do that. He tells his story from his point of view. Plus he’s likable and pleasant.
While it’s fine to have a degree, he doesn’t need it for TH-cam. So I think he can do this as long as he wishes to.
@@dynjarren8355 As I said he could make something of himself in the journalistic field.. he's not one now. People don't go on being vloggers forever. Fortunately Australian journalists on the ground in Ukraine and other overseas countries report the facts, they're not politically biased.
@@streaming5332 Niki's talents aren't wasted on me, nor his many subscriber, your don't have to have a degree to be informed or informative or to be a Journalist or make living. At least he's self motivated not like many graduates who tend to fall back on their rich parents handouts after they grad.

Thailand is a favourite haunt of expat Westerners wanting to escape their country of origin. It's cheap, exotic, easygoing people, good food. Often they marry a Thai person.
Hope you both can come to the USA some day and put your impressions on your channel. I enjoy both your channels.

Who is Balnur?
I feared Niki had traded Boris the Spider for a hungry crocodile when the water monitor lizard swam through the scene at the 9:30 mark.
What is swimming past them in the water?
I thought it looked like a nutria. They are giant rodents about the size of a beaver, live near water and can swim.

What can possibly be more fake than 2 Russians speaking to each other in English with a heavy Russian accent and one calling the other "Nicki" . For those who don't know there's no such a name in Russia as Nicki.
