I add a couple of drops of Fairy liquid which works better for me, plus ultrasonic waves will penetrate into blind areas such as tubes and crotal bells etc.. I have a model with a thermostatic heater which cleaned my lawnmower carburettor to perfection (my original reason to buy) Thanks again for your video
I was actually surprised hiw well it cleaned the items... I had one years ago and it was useless and put me off using another... but a decent one does actually work... I may even go for a more expensive model if they get better
From experience in trying. Don’t put copper base ancient artefacts / coins in the ultrasonic cleaning machine. It dissolves the metal like a harsh electrolysis. I ruined a few cruddy romans.
Looks like a good cup of tea ☕️
Nice Sid your manticore settings are great 👍

Ok did I've got the 800 minelab how much deeper on a hammered coin would you say the maninc is 👍👍
Depends on soil type and what coin and soil contamination.... the manti is a hoover in tricky soil and great at unmasking tricky targets
I've only gone and bought one with 15 inch coil 🤦♀️👍😂😂
You can get ultrasonic fluod for them Sid its a lot kinder than tap water
Cheers Sid , now 60 quid worse off ! . Do you use the cleaning fluid ?
I ain't yet but I will probs get some, my mate says it works well at shifting the crud
Would you use de-ironised water for finds?
You can use de-ironised water if you wanted to take extra care 👍
It would not surprise me if you get QVC banging your door down to sign you up😂
