    You, Sir, deserve a medal! Thank you! I've spent way too long trying to force the visor to re-install, but it took me twenty seconds after watching this!

    I like the way you go through the techniques of making sure no fingerprints or smudges get into the lenses. A very important aspect of handling these accessories. Thank you.

    Great video, Chris. Thanks to your thorough instructions, I was able to easily remove the face shield from my Neotec 2, apply the Pinlock Evo perfectly, and re-install the face shield without any problems. Really appreciate you making this!

    No other Gold Wing channel devotes this much energy, time and expense to enhancing the ownership experiences than the Caliente’s Garage series and the epic Adventures of Chris Caliente “Out on the Gold Wing, Out on the Gold Wing” series. Respectfully, not even that other guy. 😂 Oh, they may try, but there is only one Caliente! This video another example of that point. A clearly articulated easy to follow demo. I have a Pin-lock one on my Shoei RF1400 and love it. Works as it should. Appreciate the work inspiring and educating the Wing and motorcycling community. Peace

    Great explanation and demonstration. I have both tinted and clear shields with Pinlocks for the Shoei. They work well.

    Chris - this is awesome! I'd never heard of these before watching today. We have HJC helmets and I actually clicked on the link you provided at the end to watch the HJC installation. You've come a long way brother on the caliber and quality of your tutorials! thank you. I'll see what HJC model we have and get a couple of those anti fog inserts. We bought them at Wing Ding in Nashville. Thanks for all the time you take to make videos. I know it's a lot of work to do in addition to (assuming?) your day job. Take care my man!

    Hi i have the same Neotec helmet.
    You should get a small spanner with the Helmet as the
    two pins in the visor that hold the pinlock are cams which you can turn
    for ajustment of the pinlock.

    FYI The Neotec manual specifically says not to use glass cleaner on the visor.

    I have this helmet and it fogs up and I also get condensation on the inside. The dealer replaced the helmet and the replacement is the same. Called Shoei and was told that it is not there problem, I even emailed the pin lock company with no success. Will not spend that kind of money on another Shoei.

    • @chriscaliente5033
      @chriscaliente5033  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve never heard of this, I’ve been using Antifog inserts for years and I’ve never had a problem. Did you face the silicone rubber gasket down to a clean face shied then press the gasket against the shield as I demonstrated in the video? If the gasket is face up then the insert can’t work properly.

    • @scottg4669
      @scottg4669 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have had this problem but mine was that the gasket, after time, would not seal thus my shield fogs up.
