I have been using Sauvage for a long time, and even after washing the shirts, you can smell the perfume, it's awesome, another way to know if it's real or fake.
@@michaelmadueno And? Still stupid to buy a fake cologne that in 30min the smell is already gone. You spend 20€ on a bottle of fake cologne that'll last you 2 weeks, stupid. Just spend the 60 extra € on one that'll last you months.
My girlfriend gave me a Dior for Christmas and I believe she got it from a family member that sells perfumes and things like that but right off the bat I knew something was off with the cologne. I have bought this perfume multiple times and the smell was the first thing I noticed I was like damn this don’t smell like Dior. Also the cap is not magnetic and you can see the straw right away. I scraped the letters off barely Scratched it with my nail. This video confirmed I received a fake Dior. I feel bad telling me girlfriend lol
Wow! So that family sells fake fragrances and even sold one to your GF instead of telling her it was a fake. Oh and there’s supppse to be a bumble bee under the cap.
@@Lett3800 I’ve never bought from dillards but I hear good stuff about them I’d assume they they’re legit 👍🏽 Nordstrom, macys, JCPenney and Sephora are all legit and will see full retail prices
How about the lettering on the bottom and the batch code? And the straw tube being easily visible and not long at the bottom of the inside bottle. So thos at Macy’s cost about $100.?
There are dior sauvages for 5 dollars and smells exactly like it. except the bottle is not dark as the original and it's clearer, but the cap is magnetic tho
also bought both the original and the fake, I looked at the fake cover, it doesn't hurt when I turn the original cover Up, It Hurts When I Turn the Fake cover up a little Bit of the Original One, Thanks a lot Bro Man
@lebry79s.13 been a few years since I posted. But when it comes to designer fragrances. Just remember. If the deal looks to good to be true. It's because it ease. Buy from reputable supplies or straight from the designer
- I just got a 2oz EDP from Jomashop delivered today and everything looks good except the tube inside bottle. I can see it! But cap is magnetic, bee under cap, great atomized sprayer but only thing is the spray tube is present! Can someone help explain?
I bought both ori and fake but, Still buying fake 1 until now since the maker is super skilled than the original maker of Sauvage. There's not so many gaps the in smell. Sometimes if you buy from correct seller, the smell sometimes better than original Sauvage edp.
I made the mistake of trying to be cheap and buy it from ebay. I bought it Dec 2nd and it arrived TODAY. I ended up buying a legit bottle since I knew the one from ebay wouldn't arrive in time. When the cheap bottle came today I compared them and it is so obvious. Thankfully ebay did the right thing and is refunding me. Lesson learned! If you hold the bottles up to the light the colors are also different.
I won't oder anymore of that from eBay I noticed the scent didn't last long so I got screwed when I paid 85.00 for a bottle of this damn scam artist I will from now on go to get my cologne in person I noticed several things about the bottle I bought that wasn't right
Thats a horrible fake, forgetting the code which is the first thing people look for....there are somr great fakes harder to detect...I think companies should find a solution and not all people are experts...they need to have some sort of verification
@@dvb8637 I ended up purchasing a 2 Oz. Sauvage and the fragrance is awesome. It lasts several hours with just one spray. I really like it, too, because it's subtle but always there.

I guess you bought it few years ago. Nowadays after reformulation the performance is not so great
Easiest giveaway is you can see the straw/siphon in the fake, it’s near impossible to see the straw in the real one without a backlight
Great info and I hear tye straw is not as long as the fakes also.
Please ignore ahhh ahh ahhhhh in background
This is why I buy straight from Dior. I ain't risking my hard earned money.
wait there are fake colognes XD
well I guess because they are expensive

There are more fake colognes in the stores than the original
Yea it's crazy

I bought mine straight from Dior. I wasn’t gonna risk it. Expensive, but worth it thou.
Macys doesn’t sell anything fake
Plus when you order straight from Dior you get a couple samples with your purchase
@@Getrekt-at- what about dillards?

The feeder tube should be straight and not too long and bent.
The local flea market has fakes at $15. The packaging is really good. How can I report these?

What cover?
Who was the seller on eBay?
Nice video, although I bought my original from Ulta and the cap never aligned with the letters fully, the sprayer is a huge giveaway.
I just brought one one Monday from Macy’s there still expensive but worth it ❤️
How's the performance of 2020 batch ?
also in the original, the spray pipe is much more shorter and you can barely notice it from outside.
How about the smell?
Omg is that a kitty in the background 🥹
there is a good chance that its watered down original fragance to try to fool people at first glance, time its the only thing that might give it away
Whre can I buy the original one?
What's the serial number of the fake?

where did u get it from
That huge atomiser pipe inside the fake makes me anxious
Mines fake a pretty good one but the smell is too synthetic and no badge number etched on the bottom 🤦♂️

What about buying from amazon or luck cent ?? Ect ect can you buy on line ??
when you see the tube, its a fake
They improved the fakes, now u cant see the tube especially the testers
Thank you very much for your explaining
I was thinking of buying for myself, I used to wear my husband's Obsession and I loved it, does anyone know if a woman would like it??

I just always buy straight from department stores for fragrances.
At this point try to purchase from authorized dealer/stores 😃👍
Nice video its better to avoid Amazon for expensive fragrances its better to go to discounters 🙂
Yeah I just bought a fake on accident
From Amazon?
I bought a real one from Amazon and a fake from eBay.
I have both fake and original but the smell is almost identical. I used the fake one more often than the original. Lol
Yeah i think sauvage is easy to copy. Because of ingredients.
Bergamot,Pepper and ambroxin simple ingredients😂
Not advisable, fakes are well known to have potentially dangerous chemicals in them. Throw it in the trash
Fake almost cheaper but if origional is expensive
3:52 kind of just cheaply pfff 😂😂
Thank you mike.
Thanks man
thx man
My use to not free spin
I got riped off paid 60euros for fake one didnt know it till this video then i went to store and bought the original one and its almost the same
But it does last longer, right?

Hi Mike, the box at the beginning, which one is which?
rewind the video :/, right is fake
I don’t know… I shop at macys.
Thank you so much.
i stick too macys

You have way too much time on your hands
How much did u but it at Macy?
It was on sale. I think it was over 100. Been awhile ago
Honestly if it smells like it's the same then it don't matter its not like you'll bring the bottle wherever u go
I would assume it's essential, though? I can't imagine the fragrance lasting as long or smelling as smooth.
He said the smell is gone in 10 min! Sorry but 1. You have to take it with you where ever you go. 2. Its kinda useless than.
