Hi, I have Sauvage EDP and I have a question: Is it necessarily fake if "R" letter in "Eau de parfum" is different on bottle then on the box? (I saw some pictures on Sephora where that letter is also different font then on the box so I am not sure). And if batch code differs on bottom of the bottle than on bottom of the box? I checked everything else and it seems ok, cap release magnet when you turn in, it posses bee symbol, sprayer nozzle also seems fine...So only two things I definitely noticed that are not quite right and I am more and more unsure what to belive...

The problem is that the manufacturers are changing everything constantly - eg, I have the real version of this, but my bottle has silver writing on it, not white as shown here. Also, I have 100% authentic Dior Homme Intense, but on your video it shows a bee on the sprayer nozzle. Mine has the CD letters, but I know it's real. I think these videos are great, but need constant updating because the manufacturers are always changing things.

So it seems fake ones have gotten better? I got one from an acquaintance and was curious about it. The box seems fine for the most part but doesn't have the flammable sign and has the big e sign next to the 100ml, but it has a really strong magnet that holds the bottle the cap also is the real size. the bottom of the bottle also doesn't have any engravings of any sort but the bubble inside looks fine. A lot of discrepancies between some real things and some fake ones. kinda bummed down by it. Checking if the fragrance sticks more than 10 mins, so far, it has passed that mark.

yes acapacil rotates like the original… but it doesn't have such a strong magnet… grab the bottle only by the lid and shake it… the fake lid immediately comes off the glass… the original one stays even if you shake it harder👌
I think a perfume/parfum quality is not about its bottle or packaging....it's how it smells and lasts....if a fake/clone smell identical and lasts ...well my friends, i will get the fake then. In my humble opinion, fakes are made by the original house to give their product more value in the market. that been said, I might be wrong.
fake parcums are produced by some people who pack them in the bathtub... in the garage... in violation of hygiene... look to see how fake perfumes are made... and what rashes can appear... which you can't get rid of for the rest of your life... at least an original parcum it won't be the same as a fake one...persistent, smell

you don't have to cool it with a knife… you can see the fake white paint… compared to the serial number engraved on the original… the weight of the cover differs…. and the fake magnet is weaker

Your DHI bottle must be old, 2019 or earlier I guess. Sauvage always has CD on the sprayer though, new and old. Not the same for DHI.
The most noticeable are the 3 magnets clearly visible on the real sauvage. The fake ones doesn't have those and thus it has a weak magnetic grip.

They are now taking original bottles and refilling them with half water half real. So bottle testing is half the battle.

You're comparing 2021 bottles. I think they've changed the outer atomizer ring and the inner atomizer assembly for the 2023 botttles.

I think a perfume/parfum quality is not about its bottle or packaging....it's how it smells and lasts....if a fake/clone smell identical and lasts ...well my friends, i will get the fake then. In my humble opinion, fakes are made by the original house to give their product more value in the market. that been said, I might be wrong.
fake parcums are produced by some people who pack them in the bathtub... in the garage... in violation of hygiene... look to see how fake perfumes are made... and what rashes can appear... which you can't get rid of for the rest of your life... at least an original parcum it won't be the same as a fake one...persistent, smell

you don't have to cool it with a knife… you can see the fake white paint… compared to the serial number engraved on the original… the weight of the cover differs…. and the fake magnet is weaker
