Awesome video mate. Everyone please go the lower spec variant. Spend your money on tyres, suspension and a lift from a local small business. Before you know it all the small businesses will dry up from the car makers upgrading this for you. Once this happens price gouging will happen more often, the idea is making money on upgrades which you can do elsewhere They already make millions share some love and support the local businesses who will help you when things go wrong. No car brand will honour a warranty better than your local business.
I've got a 2019 Ford Wildtrak, fucking love it. I want to get upgraded wheels and AT tyres, and a lift kit as well as a King Brown exhaust system. I'm kind of stuck on what Wheels and lift kit to go with though especially wheels, so many to choose from and all review websites seem to list different 'best' wheels for 4x4.
Upon careful examination, I'm having trouble discerning the $10,000 disparity between this utility and the Wildtrak standard fit-out. It might be more prudent to opt for the lower specification model and then allocate those saved funds towards customizing it precisely to your preferences. By doing so, you can ensure that every modification aligns perfectly with your requirements, creating a tailored vehicle that meets your specific needs without incurring unnecessary expenses for features that may not hold the same value for you. This approach allows for a more personalized and cost-effective investment in the long run, providing you with a vehicle that is not only tailored to your exact specifications but also mindful of your budget. This way, you get the best of both worlds: a vehicle that meets your needs and preferences, without overspending on features that may not necessarily enhance your driving experience.
First of the Rangers with Adblue. I wonder when the rest of the Ranger model lineup get Adblue. Maybe it's time to order one of the other spec of Ranger before Adblue becomes a standard feature.
Adblue on its own doesn't reduce performance. Indeed I'd much prefer SCR (adblue) - especially where its implementation has allowed the removal of EGR over DPF any day. The problem is that the ever stricter emissions standards require all three solutions - EGR, DPF and SCR to be compliant.
@@GameBoy616 Australia's trucking industry was nearly crippled by the lack of Adblue availability because most of it comes from China. There was a dire shortage at one stage only recently, due to COVID related supply chain logistics issues.

Well here in South Africa, I had an XLT for 4 months & 21000km. Couldn't solve the Bluetooth link for Android kicking out. Now am on a Wildtrak & still struggling . Having a cable plugged in all day isn't an option for me.
We don't get that apple carplay issue in our wildtrak, is it once the over the air update happens, also great car has better things standard than the normal wildtrak, not sure about the 4 cylinder
I love it🔥🔥🔥🔥 a lot, but i would've loved that it came with all that 184KW 600NM from that Powerstroke V6 engine😭😭. It's disappointing, but it's beautiful and menacing🔥💯
Apple issue is a problem with airplay being buggy not the Ranger, it's a common issue with it dropping out in all variants of vehicles, stick with the cable it's easier
Its not that way…. I have an f150 2023 and it works flawless, tried also a vw taos and worked very well without problems, and also tried cars that are annoying to use wireless carplay
Matt. could you please tell me the country of design origin of this Ford Ranger Wildtrack X. I've never owned a 'ute' before. Back in the sixties, I had to settle for a new E Type Jaguar.
With how the Ranger has blown up in popularity in Australia, it's probably good for them financially since they can make different variants to fit everyone's budgets and needs.
@@TheoEclipse 8 variations of the same Ute is overkill especially when the difference is very minor..it’s all about profit! Great Review, thank you.
Would you pick the wildtrak x or the wildtrak 2.0?
When you testing the gr hilux?
Can i put that roof buttons on other models?
Why wouldn’t they put the v6 in it??? Only milk and orange juice comes in two litres! 😂

Tell the ford engineers
Why don't you become their engineer??? Only poor people love to complain so much!😂

@krzysztoffrancka6178 So keep it for Europe. Why handicap the rest of the World? 🤡🤡🤡
Another great review, people power will demand & get a V6 inclusion (next update). Add Blue 😢
So why the the Wildtrak X version come with a weaker engine than the regular wildtrak?
Europe friendly
I get the v6 preferable but is this version a sufficient performance boost over a PX1 3.2?
Maybe you don't recommend it, but most Dealers have sold out of their allocation a while back, so Ford didn't have any problem selling them
Why is there no V6? What is the logic behind this blasphemous decision?
