- This is what our week as a family of 12 looks like through the lens of what we eat (mostly for dinner but I show some of our lunches too.) Food is such a big part of what we do as a family and tends to punctuate our day and define our family time. So grateful for the help I get with meals from Marc and the kids as I have so many extra doctor appointments nowadays because baby is almost here! #largefamilylife #largefamilymeals

Mo's not afraid to try different foods at all. He's so patient getting his first haircut. He's such a handsome little man. ❤
For two years old, Mo is surely a good eater! You can tell he takes his food seriously. Looks like the next Food Network star!
Enoch's reaction after seeing the picture of his little sister, "Wait is the baby okay?" And then, "Yes! Thank the Lord!" And Elijah taking a deep breath of awe, "Awe, so cute." These boys are in awe of life, and my heart is melting. Tears of joy at what fine men you are raising.❤🙏

I adore your large family. I also love how you allow them to pick out something at the store. You are a great chill mom. I’d be trying to clean everything and pick up and miss special moments with my kids. I regret that. I was not chill.

Jo, unfortunately I was the same with my daughter and then with my son. Especially when little, I was obsessed with keeping the house spotless, if my husband stayed in the 1 place too long, he nearly got bleached. I am now 50, mum to a 20 year old studying accountancy over seas, and my gorgeous and wonderfully unique 12 year old son with autism. I have learned to allow mess, he is an amazing drummer, trombone and piano player by gosh messy and sooooo noisy. I now have 3 yorkies and leave in a large and rambling 200 year old cottage in the heart of the countryside. My house is clean but untidy with dog toys and my son's very important stuff that is so important the stuff must lie around. For an ocd mummy that's hard but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm from a country very closely related to Eastern Europe, and all Romanian meals you show or mention seem so familiar! We used to cook them especially after Soviet Union collapsed and masses faced financial hardship. And since these type meals feed large families, they were popular and are cooked now too. Interestingly also, in our region we live in full families (including grandparents, aunts etc), so kinda like your family but with fewer kids and more adults 😊

I'm so glad your check-ups went well! Those pictures! So excited to meet her very soon! The quiche looked delicious. Moses did awesome with his hair cut ... so patient; he's so sweet. Same with me in Kindergarten ... even in first grade ... kids in my class cried when their parents left too. It took awhile for them to get adjusted to everything.

My family is Moldavian and the soups you make for dinner, that is what we would have for a meal with bread. The lemon is a bit of acid and I can’t imagine a soup without that “bite”. I always considered Moldavian cooking to be stretching the bits you have to feed a family. This is what you do. And the children are an integral part of cooking is important. In my family it was the female children learning and doing the grunt work. I am pleased to see all of your children are invoked, except for the wee ones.😊😊

I used to live on a farm with jersey cowb . The yogurt we made was so good you wouldn’t need anything added to it. I can remember us sitting around the table of an evening just chugging back natural yogurt like there was no tomorrow. It was so good. Thick creamy and delicious. If you can avoid being induced, try to. It’s always better without intervention. The Romanian soup sounds great.

I’ve made your Romanian chicken soup twice now and I love it. I add a good pinch of chillie flakes to it and I love it with the lemon and sour cream. Thanks for the recipe Amber.

I wouldn't know what to do without my zokop bread machine. It does everything. My daughter has been making sweet potato rolls to sweet rolls to bread sticks to flavored bread sometime I feel I need another. My bread feels safe knowing there isn't all that ingredients to with hold time in a store. I was gaining weight from store bread then home made. I bought it on line from Walmart for $60. I should get another one. It's nice because the kids are cooking just spray the pot always fill out of the oven then put in. It's very hot coming out so adult is needed. I love you have kids in the kitchen

I have just .come across your channel and what a very noisy but delightful family and content. I struggled with 2 children let alone soon to be 11. But you and your hubby are so paid back and take all in your stride.
Pre eclampsia is horrendous, both my babies where premature, and I almost died with my son my pre-eclampsia was so bad. Sadly my surgeon sterilized me during the section as another baby would kill me . I am thrilled all is good with bump 11.
Your home is lovely and your kids, young and older a credit to you. Bach is one of my favourite composers, thoroughly enjoyed your son's recital.
Aw thank you! Yes I had dangerous pre eclampsia with no. 3 and they really struggled to get my blood pressure down even after delivery! So grateful he made it though. It was very close.

You should definitely try making Romanian cabbage rolls (Sarmale). They are so delicious. I used to make them with my grandma as a kid. They are not complicated to make, but do take time. Me and my brother used to only eat the meat inside, so my Mom instead made them with the cabbage chopped and put in with the meat (sarmale desfacute) 😂 Lovley that you keep making Romanian soup. In Romanian it’s called “Supă de pui cu tăiețe”, but mostly made without tomato sauce. Also please if you have the change try making this other Romanian soup called “Supa de pui cu galuste” It’s literally the best!! God bless your family ❤

I always notice the fresh food at the little farmers market stands as you breeze by them!! Do you purchase from them or just from your regular stores!! Often times looks can decieve with those little stands depending on the time of year!! But they're usually cheaper ❤
Yes! We do buy them sometimes. I am usually a little late on my way to the doctor but I send the kids to the corner stand when I’m missing things.

Yes! I should do a packing video! I may have to be induced which makes packing a little less stressful because I won’t be in actual labor!
So many people that live north in America seem to have more than five kids always😮 sounds like one too many to me but you definitely are something else being able to take care of that many children mentally as well as be able to afford that many children😮 props to you that's for sure did you plan on that many kids? Or you just wanted a big family? I'm just curious

Do you use dark meat like bone-in chicken thighs,( and if so, do you leave the skin on to cook)? Sounds and looks delicious!
We use bone in thighs for our chicken soup.
