That is wonderful that you were all able to visit the childeren's great grandmother and grandparents. It seemed to go off without a hitch, except for the stomach flu. Distance makes it hard, but it is nice to have a trip to look forward to visit with family.

The baby travels so well. Former military family here, so it bring back memories of our home schooling - our extensive traveling and moving days even living in temporary close quarters - living and traveling in Germany 3 years - and even the DC area - riding the metro - except we only had 3 kids but all born in 3 years. I have no idea how you do it with your 10. You’re so calm. I guess that’s the key. Plus your hubby is a big help. Being military I was alone much of the time. Your children are very talented. Keep up the good work.

To have to pay for 12 air tickets and thats just the beginning just blows my mind. Very good well behaved children thank god, even baby Mo is quiet with all this early upheaval is a miracle. Stressful is not the word coping with so many children though.
Love the travel video. I had to fly across the country to L.A. for surgery. Only 2 planes, but very challenging as I cannot walk any distance. Moses is a delight. His smile is contagious.
I really enjoyed this video. What a huge effort it was getting to Santiago. i will never travel now like i did 60 yrs ago and would not have flown from NY. felt sorry for Melody and Mark on the homeward flight. he was so brave when feeling the tummy bug.. happy Christmas to you all.
This is my first comment ever on TH-cam!! I found you guys and have been binge watching. I just love watching your family. I was only able to have one child. So I live vicariously through you. I do have a question, how long did it take you guys to walk/subway to airport? I was amazed how the kids hung in there!!
Mean this in a constructive way - it’s unfortunately not surprising to hear of the illness from the trip, especially in late December/ early January. Highly recommend wearing masks next time, especially around grandma.
Was it weird only traveling with 4 kids? I’m so glad you got to spend time with your grandmother what a treat! Sorry the stomach flu found you poor Marc having to travel home while sick! I’m glad you all didn’t come down with it that would have been horrible while out there!

Thank you! It was a long walk but thankfully we had the baby carrier. It was about 15 minutes of walking ❤️

Have you considered flying out of Newark instead of JFK? You could drive and park in long term lot. Might be a time saver in the long run.
