Oh my gosh... it was like getting to shop from a museum of all the wonderful yesteryear things and you really didn't end up spending a whole lot for what you got!! So much fun!
I just loved that house and everything in it!!! I love old furniture and have no room for it but I probably would have bought some!!!! My husband would have gone crazy!!!
At $20 for the set of 4 on the pink le creuset set you might should have grabbed those. Conservatively they go for around $50 each resell price, but you probably could’ve gotten more because they’re pink. Any Le Creuset I come across, I usually pick it up if it’s in a reasonable price range because it sells pretty quick for me.
I’ve learned so much about which items to pick up beginning with the swing a way can openers and cookbooks. I recommend your channel to beginner resellers. It would be great if you mentioned items like that that are low cost easy pickups. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for taking us along. Like you I have so much respect for homes that are a time capsule. So wonderful to see it all and think of the richness of the lives those folks lived. I also appreciate your warm, thoughtful narration. FYI, CSA stands for Confederate States of America. From the shots of the inside of the hats, I'd bet that they were reenactment pieces. Too bad you didn't get that TP dispenser!
To get stains out of linens, soak in a linen restoring product called "Retro Clean." If they still need a bit of spot cleaning, use a spot cleaner and good, old fashioned soap and bleach.
Thanks for stopping by! You really want to check out tomorrow’s sale!! Just fyi, the items that didn’t sell last week those took a reduction on those items starting Saturday and they will be 75% off tomorrow! Thank you!
@@ForestandFayeyay I finally got an answer! I suppose you overlooked my questions about the name, I’ve asked Two or three times ,but I know this gets busy and you don’t see all comments. Not a problem, just glad I found out. ❤😊 love your channel.
Can't believe that they are going to tear down that beautiful old house! Probably put up something new and ugly with no style, beauty or class! Breaks my heart!
Estate sales catering to and pricing for collectrs seems inefficient, unless they go to an online auction format. I see that a lot and wonder how they sell off the leftover items?? Anyone know?
And what do they do with the items that aren’t sold. Donate I hope. One channel I watched I heard them say they were going to throw stuff away. And they had already thrown away a lot. Like why. 😮
One time i went to a sale when it was over to pick something up and i was sick when i saw things getting pitched in a dumster! It was all the stuff that their buyout company wasn't interested in. The client wanted the whole house empty immediately after the sale and the estate sale runners weren't gong to take the time to pack it all up to donate. It made me so sick to see it and actually brought me to tears!
This was so much fun! Thank you for the video.
Nice finds. Love the Tiffany lamp shade.
What a shame that that beautiful house will be torn down. I love old homes.

Great video! If we just take offense at history, we miss the opportunity to learn from it. Thanks for sharing.

I was hoping she would pick them up. Just one sold on ebay for $29. Those would've been a great profit maker.

West Point is a military college in New York. My husband was a cadet and he had that uniform. It’s the Army!

Thank you for this recommendation. I've been trying to get stains out of my late mother's linens.
Great content! Love this sale.

Absolutely amazing
Why aren’t you going for all of the antique mantle clocks, they are beautiful! $175 divided by 4 would be $45. That’s a steal.
That's beautiful
Its a shame that theyre tearing down the house.
Hi, I'm a new watcher and subscriber to your channel. I'd like to ask why your channel is called "Forest and Faye."
Names of the cross streets where I live, and my dad and grandpa’s name is Forrest with two r’s.
Yes, I was wondering that as well!!

CSA - Confederate States of America
Great Video
Civil War items ~~ Go to a Museum in your Area. Show to a history buff🎉🎉❤
Great idea!
Someone will clean up recycling the hardware and those gorgeous wood floors when the tear that old beauty down.
Pineapple candy dish😊
Unbelievable house and belongings!
Oh wow. I would have loved to go shopping with you. Lol and do you know why they are tearing it down. That’s so sad
Love your channel! Wondering if you film pack and ship videos?
How much were clocks, dear? Costume can be valuable
The creepy doll is a Flathead. Even the repros are worth at least 100
Thank you for sharing! Now I know and will look out for them in the future
I'm new too and was wondering the same thing?!
If you find the right Crossbody purse you might not need your GoPro harness ?
I know, I just bought one this past week with that hope in mind! Fingers crossed!
I doubt the civil war hats were original because the colors were to vibrant. The fabric would be super faded and extremely fragile.
It must be haunted if they are tearing that beauty down!!

They can use a "buyout" company. Sometimes it depends on what deal they make with the client.
Where state or area was this. Im from SC and saw alot of things from my area

Wht on earth would they be tering down that house?
It's a shame they're going to tear the house down. They'll probably build a stupid McMansion. ☹️
