OMG thank you so much for going to the Livingston Antique Outlet! You actually showed my booth mine had the door cut into the tree shape what’s cool is that you get two trees from one door I kept the two pieces and put them together for myself the door knobs were in the middle! Thank you so much 🥰

I know I'm not the first to say that it's surprising how much prices have increased in thrift stores. But then again, I'm old. I remember when you could walk into a Salvation Army with $10 and leave with everything in the store. Just flashing that wad of ten singles got you a lot of respect.
You are so right! I used to go to Goodwill and spend $15.00 and come home with two bags full of stuff…..not to more☹️

Salvation Army and Goodwill are basically retailers now. The pricing is ridiculous. My local SA store had Dollar Tree stuff priced at $2.00!!!!!! Like...what?

Yes ditto everything you said...!!! I know I saw several BEAUTIFUL C& S & teapots & cream & sugar & looked like Bavarian!! I'm calling that Outlet Mall next week I saw several items gorgeous. Kelly & Debbie didn't even look at. !!.don't think their style.....but they got some neat things!!!!

Oh I SO love thrifting. After you have had antique mall booths for 8 or 9 years, it is hard to stop buying when you let them go. Now I still go but don’t buy much. My husband has been really sick for the past 1.5 years and thrifting is my getaway. It makes me happy. You know what else makes me happy? Being cheap. Getting things for small prices is ME! Thank you for a great video.

I go to the Livingston Antique outlet at least once a month. The Brighton Salvation Army is a great one, its close to where i live in Brighton. I'm glad you had a good day shopping.

The ceramic quails... they were a 70's thing. I bought one rae and covered it with gold leaf as a Christmas present from my mother-in-law back when my husband and I were broke. She really liked it and kept it on display for decades.
they are modeled after the Arnel quails that she had originally I believe
Love your collection and your store! My daughter keeps telling me to open up my own shop. I would have to sell furniture (thrifted and flipped) so that will be used to pay rental space. My shop used to have some pieces that I didn't make a big profit on, but really added to the overall esthetic. I am not one who makes over things like you do ( which by the way is fabulous) but I do love to do displays and vignettes!! My biggest downfall, even when I didn't have a shop, and was just buying for my own home.....was the dreaded NFS tag!! There could be five thousand things in a shop, and I will always find the 10 things that aren't for sale lol. I get it though, some pieces you need for display but I can always think of ways to style it for my home. I've found my customers to be like that too. You see something and already have it in your house (in your head) and then you see the price or the NFS tag....it makes your heart sad 😔. Thanks for another great video, I miss having a shop, but I still love the thrill of the hunt!!
