Assuming the annual went well, and glad to see you back. Now THIS is the way to enjoy aviation, right here. Spending time with family, friends and in the air. Great video as always.
Thank you very much for sharing your flight experiences. @@av8tore71 agree. The first job I ever had was there at C77. Worked as a lineboy at 16 years old. I was there the day the Beech 18 came in from the UK. My family and I live half a mile from the airport for six years now. It's like an airshow that never ends. My kids and I enjoy going out and sitting in the grass next to the office and watching all the activity.
Too Cool....! I graduated from High School with a girl that had a home in Purcell, OK and they had 15 acres with a small house and a huge hanger for a garage. This community was awesome, beautiful homes!
Lived in Rockford for 30+ years before moving away 10 years ago. C77 changed from Belvidere to Poplar Grove Airport 20-30 years ago. Those houses sprung up next to the taxiway, forming the hangar community. I understand that many of the residents are commercial pilots. Didn't get my ticket until after I retired. Need to get back & put the wheels down up there. Enjoy your videos and thanks for keeping us 1200's separated!
Thanks for the comment Steve and glad you are enjoying the videos! I bet that place has changed a bunch since you were last there. Maybe one day we can move to a fly-in community. You're welcome...without people like you flying we'd be out of work.
Big thank you to share your every flight. Love and prayers from all the way long Islamabad Pakistan. Really enjoyed your every flight. You both are awesome and doing amazing job. Glad to have kinda that viewing videos and your life. I am learning so much. Waiting your up coming videos. Cheers.
What a fantastic airport, nice homes. Imagine living right on the field and not having to travel to get there, oh and the food looked good too. Wish i was there, i bet you both had a great time, being around like minded aviators. Loved watching this one and look forward to the next. Thank's mate
Thank you Spiro! I'd love to live in a community like that one day. It is great to be around other pilots and have a reason to fly...even if it is a short hop. Kentucky video coming as soon as I can get it edited.
Just subscribed and really enjoy the videos. Got my PPL at Lewis-Lockport and first solo at KARR (Sugar Grove then). The cost of flying outgrew me, but I get it live it through TH-cam and videos like these. Southern Illinois boy now. Get to watch the traffic out of STL, Williamson County, and Carbondale. Keep up the great work! Couple of rock stars in my book!!
Hey guys, I was born and raised in Rockford ill, been in bonita springs Florida for the last 17 years. I see your going to popular Grove airport. I don't have fond memories of there. When I was flying I flew in there many times. But in 1975 I made my 2nd parchout jump, should not have done that jump, downwind landed, broke left leg and ankle. Love your chanel.
Breakfast Club is awesome. I have a number of great locations nearby in Oklahoma. Always a blast meeting friends from around the Midwest on fun-flys. Fun videos, thanks for the adventures
Good to see you both again! "See what the farmers are doing"...LOL, with my Cub I often smell what they are doing! Rare to see a twin ripping around at that altitude! Love the fly-out breakfasts. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! Yeah, it's not often we cruise around at 2500 but it was fun. I've taken a few cub rides and man would I love one just for flying around with the doors off counting cows.
I just found your channel. I love how you are close by. I grew up in Schaumburg, and currently live in Elk Grove Village! As a kid, I would have my dad take me to the Schaumburg airport to watch the aircraft coming in and out. Small world. As an aviation enthusiast, I really appreciate these videos. Keep it up!
Thank you Jack! Glad to be able to give some aerial shots of the local area. If you like things aviation, go to the restaurant over at Rochelle (kind of a drive) while they are skydiving. You can sit out right next to the drop zone and watch them load up, takeoff and parachute right over you while you are eating. Fun to watch how fast they load up and takeoff then get back down for the next load. :) New video as soon as I get a chance to edit.
Wow, different sort of a lifestyle there. Looks like a very nice flying community. Thanks for posting and always good to watch. Nice to have you and Jaime both flying together again.
This makes me want to fly again, there's nothing like flying somewhere for breakfast... awesome stuff. Cheers from apron control in YUL, a few of us here are GA pilots and big fans of your channel
I have taken some breaks in my flying before...it's easy to knock the rust off when you are ready. That's cool you get to see planes everyday for work....I talk to them but don't get to see them anymore. Glad to have some fans of the channel up north! :) I'm looking forward to us flying up there for my first trip to Canada.
I’ll get back to flying in the spring hopefully. One of the senior controllers here is actually getting a block of hours on a 310, this is how we came across your videos. Being able to look outside does have its perks but I’ll have to admit I’m looking down at my ASDE most of the time nowadays, we have close to 100 parking positions including gates and there are lots of blind spots. I’ve been wanting to go to Oshkosh for a while now, maybe we’ll see you there some day!
Thanks for letting me ride in the back seat again. Glad your lovely wife could come this time, too. She's looking great as always. Your plane and your wife. ;-)
Glad you liked it John! I've heard of groups like this all over the country, I'm sure you'll find stuff. Good luck on finishing up your private. Ain't it great. :)
How kool is that !!! Heading out for the Sunday morning breakfast club in your plane. I am a few months behind of your comments lol. It is very kool of you and your lady friend sharing your awesome experiences with us. Its hard for me to understand your radio accents (me being from Wisconsin) again, thanks, you guys rock.
Great to be back in Bravo Charlie and you did a beautiful approach to landing. Where I live there is a Airport community like the one you arrive at and it's all golf course grass and with Homes with hangar connected
Thanks Bernard. Sometimes I win the landing and sometimes it wins me....this one I won. Gotta love the airport communities. Throw in a lake and golf course and I may never leave. :)
gfg 826 Try gliding. Much more affordable. And you fly for the sake of flying, no need for lame excuses like going for a $150 breakfast . Silent and the most refined and delicate fly you can learn anywhere.
An enjoyable video, as usual. Almost like sitting in the pilot's seat. Keep putting them up, and I will keep watching. Although, I didn't fly much after getting my Single Engine Land license some 43 years ago, I have always enjoyed the idea of being in control of an airplane, especially my first solo;-) It's amazing to watch two air traffic controllers flying their own twin Cessna.
Thank you for the kind words Bill! I'm really glad you are enjoying the videos so far. We are excited about aviation and the ability to share it with those that have similar interest. First solo's are very memorable. I know a lot of people that slide out and in of flying...it takes a huge financial and time commitment and sometimes life just gets in the way. I took a several year break but am really excited to be back in. We just got back from Kentucky Dam...new video up in a few days. Thanks again.
Hi Kevin, just stumbled onto your channel today and subscribed. Love your format and content, and really appreciate the ATC angle, with controllers in the cockpit! Rusty pilot here, haven't flown in 26 years, but back in 1988 I owned and flew a C-172 and literally lived and breathed aviation. I lost my job due to corporate shenanigans, and after floundering around for a while, decided I'd try to become an air traffic controller. In March of 1989 I traveled to the FAA Academy in OKC as a newly-hired ATC candidate. During my nine weeks there, I did well in the classroom, but ran enough planes into each other in the Aero Center (ZAE) lab sessions to knock my final grade down to 67.5. A grade of 70 or higher was needed to pass and to secure a job as a controller, so they patted me on the back and sent me home to ponder my future... :-) At the time, the pass rate was only about 40% at the Academy, so I didn't feel too bad. I have the highest respect for controllers to this day, knowing what it takes to become one. BTW, love the cap! I'm a native Georgian, and was a Junior at UGA in 1980 when Herschel took us to the National Championship. Man, those were great days at UGA! GO DAWGS!!! Gerry
Thanks for the kind words and subscribing Gerry! Glad to give an enjoyable view from the air with an ATC spin at times. We love sharing our passion. The academy has historically had a very low success rate. Sorry it didn't work out for you back then. Good luck getting back in the air one day (hopefully soon). It's like riding a bike...a couple flights and you'll be right back where you were. I also went to UGA...pretty cool you were there in 1980. I have a controller friend who played on that team with Herschel that year. Hopefully Kirby has us back on track and we will be back at the Championship game for many years to come. Go Dawgs!!
Don't know if you still respond to comments, but was feeling a bit nostalgic and watched this video again after so many years. Miss you guys...Hope you are happy & well! ps enjoyed the video once again!
Every once and awhile you read a comment that nails it. This is exactly what I was thinking. I remember y'all were flying (yea I know soaringtractor, that's what they do lol) and you raised your finger and Jaime just stopped cold. The respect is such a wonderful thing between y'all. But I guess flying can be dangerous. 😉
Great ride guys, thank you for sharing! Ketchup on Quiche - bold move! I love ketchup but never tried it on baked eggs. I've liked everything you have done so far so we'll give it a shot next time. Keep flying! Sooner Brant (Thornton)
really enjoy watching all your videos.. Being a Ga boy love seeing the bulldog hat. worked entire adult life in aviation but never realized the thrill of getting a license. had the opportunity many times to fly friends A/C and all Delta's simulators but having a plane like you guys has to be a thrill.. Keep up the good work, feel as if I could almost qualify in the 310 from watching you guys... Jeff Fayetteville Ga..
Looks like you had a good time flying in to the breakfast club. Our local airport has a several guys who fly in on the weekends for breakfast at the Flippin' Eggs restaurant, Goderich, Ontario Canada
You Guys are just as cute as can be! Thanks for taking me flying with you! Love your videos and dam that girl can work the radios something awesome!! Love it when you share your howtos likes and dislikes from your brother and sister in the sky! Love you Guys be safe!
About the music... the music you use as your "signature song" is absolutely perfect... and you use it well. My opinion, don't change anything, the music or the way you use it, it adds depth, for a lack of a better word, to all your videos. I'll repeat myself, absolutely perfect!
310 Pilot I have a flight to ORD on May 12, so I am off in your area Sunday 13th. If you have some time off I would love to get together, may be take a look at your plane or may be going somewhere for the classic $100 hamburger....
Lovely video! Always have a soft spot for the 310! Good to see you both back flying again. I think I might struggle with some of the accents over the radio - but that would perhaps only add to the excitement! The idea of flying out to breakfast is quite something! How about a trip to France for lunch? Deauville is just across the English Channel and is what might be considered a trip out for a meal in the same vein as this flight. I was lucky enough to be in a Piper Seneca going to France for the day - then got to witness a GCA practice let down at Northolt, an RAF airfield just north of Heathrow. But it would be nice to enjoy the large uncontrolled spaces over the US one day. Great video, keep them coming. Best regards from the UK. Lee
Thank you Lee! We are glad to be up again. You'd get used to our accents quickly. They get better the further south you go in the US. :) London to Deauville is just a quick 40 min flight in the 310. It would be perfect for lunch. You can't beat Europe's vast culture differences over such a short distance (relative to US miles). I'd love to be able to spend time flying all over Europe. Can't beat the US for absolute freedom and ease of flight though. :)
Kevin, I had to respond to this one, one of my favorites, I’m the Navy Seabee’s veteran you responded to on your “Ladies nite out in Chicago land video” Thank you for your comments. Okay the title of this video made me laugh, “Jaime edition of Sunday morning breakfast club” Okay, I thought Whoever is a fan of Jaime’s is going to key on this one, she looked great before, during and at the very end of this flight( putting the sexy plane away) Your takeoff and landing was great in this video and the best part was you taxiing down that short road to park your plane, single engine planes all over and here you come with the 310 Q !! You had to give it some juice to go up to the building, sounded great, you spun around, people checking the plane out across the road, can’t imagine why, breakfast you were having looked great !!!
Awesome Dennis! Glad you enjoyed another one and hopefully we can keep it enjoyable for you moving forward. I did the "Jaime edition" because I did a different breakfast club video without her and I had several comments asking where she was. :) It was tight getting in and out of there but it worked well. I was glad to have a wing walker when I turned by that hangar!
Back in 1987 I had just received my Private Pilots license and went flying with my uncle in his C172. We did touch and goes at Belvedere...3000’ of runway surrounded by a sea of 8’ corn. 20 years later I return and it’s now an air park by the name of Poplar Grove. How times change...
Nice video, Poplar Gv. is the closest airport to my home. Would love to meet you guys just to say hello next time your there for the Sunday morning breakfast. I am also familiar with Areo Lake estates, I drive by there often. Headed to Monroe today for some cheese sandwiches at Baumgartners.
Love your videos and your trips that you post, especially the views of the instrument panel and cockpit view. You might enjoy Casey, Illinois - 1H8, as well. The town features things like the worlds largest wind chimes, largest rocking chair (2-3 stories tall...), mailbox and more. Got a couple good restaurants around the attractions. It would be a good day trip! Airport is on the edge of town. Would make a good video flight!
Glad you are enjoying the videos and thanks for the suggestion!! We are always looking for new places to explore. We will have to add Casey to the list. :)
Great to see you guys back after the annual. Thanks for sharing the flight. Look forward to the next one. Forgot to ask, where you guys the only twin that morning?
Thanks Jeff! Glad to be done with the annual and up again. Gotta find some time to edit the next one. We were the only twin that day. Some really nice bonanza's, RV's, Glasair's, Cessna singles, etc. Made for a tight turn in the twin getting out of there. :)
The clarity of the video, ATC and your conversation puts this channel on top. Thanks again.
You're very welcome...thank you for the feedback!
Thanks for the vid. I feel privileged to be able to live vicariously through your TH-cam channel.
Glad you are enjoying them Wayne...thank you!

Thank you Randy. The annual did go well. I agree...great way to enjoy aviation and glad we can bring it to you.
Hadn't seen this before, what an amazing community. Makes our breakfasts seem so boring ! Yet another fabulous video !
I agree Barry, wish we had a house in there. :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Thanks for letting me tag along. Brings back some great memories!
I enjoyed spending my Sunday morning watching you folks fly. Thanks Again for sharing your flying experiences.
You're welcome Richard. Thanks for watching!

Great videos, keep them coming!!!
Very cool Kenneth! Good luck on finishing up your training. Say hey if you see us next time.
Looks like a snug fit into your hanger😳great job👍🇺🇸👍
Don't know if you still respond to comments, but was feeling a bit nostalgic and watched this video again after so many years. Miss you guys...Hope you are happy & well! ps enjoyed the video once again!
So the thing that I am most impressed with is the respect you show for each other. Be well.
Thank you Bill! I'd like to think we are the perfect couple...well at least perfect for each other. :)
Excellent pilots! Smooth flights.
Thank you Carl! :)
During landing the lady was so nervous but landed very well..it was a nice journey with you guys...see u next..love from PK.
Looks like so much fun . What an amazing housing community!!
I agree James...that's living right there. :)
That's my kind of living....!!! Following your flying from Perth, Western Australia. Great videos.
Awesome Guy! One day I will make it to your beautiful country!
love the power and the way the cessna takes off...
really enjoy watching all your videos..
Loved it !! Thanks for sharing
When I am watching the video, I think I am the pilot of the plan.Nice video.
Looks like you had a good time flying in to the breakfast club. Our local airport has a several guys who fly in on the weekends for breakfast at the Flippin' Eggs restaurant, Goderich, Ontario Canada
That’s was very beautiful flight love how you find place to join other pilot for breakfast thnk you guys fly safe hello too the wife welcome back 💐💐💐💐
Glad you liked it Marin! Fun to have reasons to fly and nice to have Jaime back. :)
New to the channel. Glad I discovered it. 310 is a solid plane.
Glad you found us! She is a beautiful flying plane!
Great video. Don't shorten the video on the landings at the end. Keep up the great vids. Waiting to see when Jamie takes over on the controls.
Thank you! I will have her fly some in the future. The landing on the end here was shortened due to me forgetting to plug in the audio adapter. :)
This is the stuff I really miss about GA. Nice video.
Thank you! Maybe you can get back into GA?
You Guys are just as cute as can be! Thanks for taking me flying with you! Love your videos and dam that girl can work the radios something awesome!! Love it when you share your howtos likes and dislikes from your brother and sister in the sky! Love you Guys be safe!
Thank you Werner! She's an awesome co-pilot to have with me...I'm a lucky guy!
Awesome flight, amazing place to have breakfast :)
About the music... the music you use as your "signature song" is absolutely perfect... and you use it well. My opinion, don't change anything, the music or the way you use it, it adds depth, for a lack of a better word, to all your videos. I'll repeat myself, absolutely perfect!
Wow, thank you for the nice comments! We'll keep plugging away and sharing our flying adventures.
Great video, looks like a nice time. Looking forward to Kentucky!
Thank you! It was a great trip down there. Now just to find the time to edit it all. Hopefully I'll have it up in the next week or so.
I dream someday buy my plane and enjoy as you do God bless you both
awesome fly-in community, that is just my dream, right there... cheers and thanks for sharing.
Your's and mine both. Maybe one day. Thanks for watching Captain!
310 Pilot I have a flight to ORD on May 12, so I am off in your area Sunday 13th. If you have some time off I would love to get together, may be take a look at your plane or may be going somewhere for the classic $100 hamburger....
AWSOME video. Who wouldn't want to live there!
Thank you!
Enjoying your videos. Love the plane.
Nice day for breakfast you said Kentucky Village been a few years but been there hope you have a great time
I had to come back and listen to the engines on takeoff again and I love it
It is addictive. :)
Love you guys. You do what I couldn't afford.
Thank you Edward.
Great video once again. Such an awesome couple and wouldn't it be great to live in a neighborhood like that lol :-) Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!! A neighborhood like that makes you re-think your life goals. :)
Another great video! How cool/weird was that, driving your airplane through the neighborhood?
This was a fun one! Man, your plane just fits in your hangar.
Looks like you had the nicest plane at the fly-in. Great video, thanks!
Ed, it was the largest for sure. There were several beauties. Glad you liked it!
310 envy! would be fun to be flying where I grew up in Illinois! keep the awesome videos coming!
Thank you...glad you are enjoying them!!
Great video
That’s too cool! I’d love to live in that community.
Great video. Great way to spend quality time together. Safe fly.
Glad you enjoyed it! Awesome way to spend some quality time is right. :)
Did I hear a radio call from 4645 niner? Blue and cream 172? If so, I flew it out of Maxair in ATW in the 90's.
I watch you every day
Great flight nice to see the other half again cheers guys
Thanks Paul! Good to have my co-pilot back. More to follow. :)
That looked like fun. Thank you for sharing.
Fun to watch you two! 😎
That's is awesome man!! you have a hanger not a garage!!:) i call this subdivision an "aviation country club"
One of the best one's yet!
Thanks Aaron!!
