Good job. Brings back memories of Sunday morning breakfast runs. We`d go to Palmyra,Wi. and Reedsburg,Wi. a lot. You`re gonna have to go to the Fly In breakfast at C77 Poplar Grove. It`s the best breakfast fly in in the area. Maybe I`ll see ya there. It`s around the 20th of August usually. They used to have people on the sides of the runway, grade your landing with cue cards from 1 to 10. Good fun.
Nice and enjoyable flight. Wondered at first where you co-pilot was until the end, when you explained that she was working. This had to have been a fun flight on a Sunday morning. Anytime to go flying is a fun time. Glad you enjoyed the Sunday Morning Breakfast Club, too. I really like that new iPad view. I was amazed when the software showed the runway view during landing. That is really cool. Back when I was on the line crew at an FBO at what is now Hobby Airport, in Houston (early 1960’s), I serviced a lot of Cessna 310’s. Never got to ride in one, but we had a lot of them come to our FBO. Of course, the avionics are far more advanced than they were back then. That is one cool aircraft you have. Enjoy watching you fly it. Look forward to the next flight. Until then, enjoy, and fly safe. Your fiancée was missed. She’s a cool lady.
I agree Richard, any reason to fly makes for a fun time! The newer version of ForeFlight with synthetic vision is great. Especially having the runway displayed while you are lining up in the soup before breaking out. Thank you for the nice comments and my lady is dying to get back in the air soon...as soon as the plane gets done with it's annual inspection. In a couple weeks Jaime and I are flying down to Kentucky for a fly-in at the lake. Stay tuned.
Awesome. Glad you liked it! This was just an intro for me to learn how to edit it in. I will start adding it for visual aids into our flights/approaches in the future. Ya'll keep giving me suggestions and I'll keep trying to make things better.
Now I see why you got your Muti to own and have a great time flying your Beautiful 310 . Keep up the great work and videos with going over your power settings and cruise checklists. Enjoy your Breakfast and have a great Easter weekend with your bride and family and always remember who we are and who we stand for in life .
What I like about the comments on Jamie's absence is that all of them show respect for her. None of those macho comments so common on many videos. That's a good thing. Love your videos... 🙂
Glad you liking the videos! I agree, I think it helps that she's a very good controller and offers a lot in the cockpit. Being easy on the eyes is just the added bonus. :)
Nice flight, interesting seeing synthetiic vision. Atittude looked pretty accurate when you were making those turns. It seems ATC may have forgotten about you asking for flight following, but i guess it pays to keep your mind on the job and remind others of theirs. Thank's mate, see you next video.
Thank you Spiro. Glad you're still liking them. The synthetic vision may not be to the nano-second that my G5 AI is but it's for sure good enough in an emergency to keep the right side up. I'm not sure what the delay was with ATC there. They didn't seem busy on the freq but maybe they were coordinating with someone else? Got to keep them honest. :)
That was fun ! Yes the newer iPads are so much better. I got my wife a new one for Christmas and she's amazed at the difference. Thanks for taking us along !
Just started watching your guys Vids. Had to start back at the beginning but Very nice Video Quality and interesting since you are ATC the different Banter on the airways. Cheers
Awesome videos! Thank you for all your efforts to create them. I live in Peoria, IL so especially enjoyed this video as it was very familiar territory! If your ever in the area again, have the camera rolling! Thanks again!
Thanks Wes! You're welcome...glad you like them. We're having fun with it and glad to share our passion with others. We traverse the Peoria area quite a bit....there will be lot's more this year.
310 Pilot - Flying has always been a dream of mine however I suffer from epilepsy so earning my pilots license isn’t in the cards for me. Videos like what you create allow me to experience something I dream about. Really appreciate you taking a minute to reply to me.
Wes, sorry to hear about your condition that precludes flying. I'm very glad to be able to help you experience one of your dreams. We'll do our best to keep it up and try to continue improving.
Thanks for responding to three of my comments, you are one of a kind, I like the mello music, the plane of course, this video is one of my favorites, engines sound great, I’m a mechanic so I key on that, I have a question, what is the screen just above your mixture levers at 1:00 ? Just curious, I don’t ever see that one on. I love your instrument panel, I watch it when I fly with you, I do understand the instruments and I flew a lot in the military, my friend let me fly his Skyhawk when I was younger, I skydived 9 times, never could get the courage to be a pilot
Dennis, thanks again for your compliments! The screen above the mixtures is my old school radar. The radar works well but the screen is pretty hard to see. With ADS-B weather on my GPS and iPad, I don't use it much. I plan to update the screen one day with a newer version that makes the weather depicted color. It will be used a lot more then.
The Sunday breakfast club sounds like a lot of fun. I fly a 172 and Mooney out of KRAC. Always looking for someplace new to fly. Maybe I'll see you one of these Sundays .
It is! Glad I was able to show other local pilots about this. They aren't super well known it seems but are very friendly to newcomers. Hopefully we'll see you at one Robert.
I really like your videos. I fly a 182 out of Lansing KIGQ. I had no idea this group existed until I saw this. Can't wait to join in when i get a chance.
Thanks Matt! I'm really glad I was able to show other local pilots about this. I've been flying around here for years and had no idea. They are super friendly and glad to have new people join it. Hopefully I'll see you at one in the future. I'm going to shoot for once or twice a month after I get her back from annual.
I recently upgraded from the iPad Mini 2 to the iPad Mini 4. Even though the iPad Mini 4 is 3 years old, its a bit of an upgrade from the 2. The 310 is a great plane! Good performance in case of OEI, enough complexity to keep it interesting, and you've got some nice avionics there. Can I ask what you do for a living?
I agree. I was holding out on the 4 hoping they would upgrade with that size but my 2 was crashing. I am happy with the 4 and that should buy me a few years. I love the 310! It has the best OEI performance in it's class. I feathered the critical on my last BFR and it flew easily. I've been working on those avionics all year and am starting to get close. Maybe just a second G5 and a newer autopilot and I'll be set for a while. I'm an air traffic controller. Thanks for watching.
That was great bud, wondered why the BOSS wasn't with you, lol. I like how you explain what your doing and why, you have a super channel, glad to be a part of it. How many miles can you go on a full load of fuel?
The BOSS had to work to make some $ to keep that bird in the air. :) Really glad you are liking the channel so far. It holds 163 gallons full. I can go a little over 1100 miles at my normal power setting till she flames out. If I pull it back to best economy it gets me about 1300 nautical miles till the engines go silent. That's a long time to be sitting still though so I usually break it up and try to land after 800 miles or so if I'm going a long way.
This is the other thing that makes your channel great, you try to answer questions & comments. I know at times you can't answer every comment that you get, I understand that but you try and that means a lot to me. If you don't answer I understand you are busy with everything else you do and your channel will grow, you have great content that people like, thanks for sharing your video's, fly safe bud.
Thank you! I figure if people take the time to watch and type a comment, the least I can do is try to get back to them. I may not be able to get on everyday but when I can, it doesn't take too much time to run through them. Maybe if the channel grows very large it might get limited a bit but I'll still do the best I can.
Time well spent on a Sunday morning! I got to see a 310 up close while I was in line for fuel last week. That is one big beautiful plane! I sure would hate to get that fuel bill though. I thought my Dakota was thirsty! ;) Thanks for the ride!
Thank you! I agree about time well spent. Cool to meet other area pilots, hang out for a bit and keep airport restaurants supported. The fuel bill is a bit rough but I do like the speed, distance, hauling and redundancies. A Dakota is a great plane! I've flown one a few times and enjoyed it. I can operate around 20 LOP or 25 ROP at 160/175 knots respectfully. When you compare it to Saratogas, Lances and Bonanza's it's not too bad. At least that's what I try to keep telling myself. :)
Love the new I Pad with synthetic vision. Nice to fly on a Sunday for a morning breakfast rather than driving. You log some flight time as well as having an enjoyable breakfast. Take care and see you soon!
That's a snug fit looking at the hanger, but really sweet that you've got some lounge area in it. Looks like you're going to be using a mini 4 for your iPad? Does that size fit better than a regular size? Thanks as always for the videos!
Putting twin's in a T hangar is usually a bit tight but there is room to walk around all 4 sides. I do love that we are able to have a lounge area, cabinets and a fridge though! I use the mini 4. It is the best size for where I keep it. If I went any larger I would have to move it somewhere else as it would block some instruments. Thanks again for watching!
What a nice 310 you have. We just got back from an 18.5 hour trip to the Bahamas. Wish I had the equipment you do...heck, I just wish my autopilot would work. Anyway, great videos. Keep them coming. If you’re ever up in the 3CK area, swing by and say hi. N5715M
Thank you Alain! Spent the better part of the year upgrading a lot of that equipment to get it this far. I'm with you about the autopilot. Mine gets goofy so I leave it off for the most part. Good thing our birds are fun to hand fly. I don't want to sink a dime into it with all the new cheaper autopilots slated to hit the market this year. We'll have to get together at some point. I'd love to pick your brain about your Bahamas trip. We are planning one as well. I'm based out of ARR.
You are living my dream. 😊 BTW I'm getting ready to buy a new iPad with stratus 2 and synthetic vision as a backup since I'm a renter. Which iPad are you getting? Thanks for the great videos, you are one of my top three flight vloggers.
Jeff, it's an honor you think I'm in your top 3. :) There are a lot of good guys out there. I'll keep working on the content and editing. I just upgraded form an older iPad mini to the mini 4. That size is perfect for where I keep it. If I was forced to go bigger, I'd have to move it to keep from blocking other instruments.
Thank you! I record the ATC/intercom with an aviation adapter to the gopro black. The engine noise is recorded on the session. During editing, I tie them together. Still learning a lot about the process but having fun with it.
We had planned to go down there for the eclipse but the plane was in for upgrades and didn't finish in time. Hopefully we can get down there some time before the next eclipse. Lunch always sounds good. :) If you decide on taking up flying, good luck. Once you start, you will always have your head up in the clouds.
Yet another cool video, sadly I have run out of videos now :( I need a new fix or I could watch your videos again of course ;) I look forward to your next video :)
Glad you're enjoying them Rab! Just finished up one I'll be able to post in a day or two and then I'm going to start editing our Bahamas adventure we just recently got back from. :)
310Pilot, man I’m enjoying your vids. The breakfast club sounds fun, though a bit far from KBFI lol. And may I say the pax seat looked empty without the fiancee. May you have better schedules next go around!
Glad you're enjoying them! May be a bit of a stretch from Boeing Field to join us!! I've never flown up in the northwest but I for sure will one day. Looks beautiful up there! It does get lonely in there without her. Next time I will give her enough notice to switch her work schedule around. :)
310 Pilot The 310 has longer legs .. if you ever get here it’s truly breathtaking from the air. Btw, what’s the intro music? It’s so upbeat and oddly relaxing ...
That's for sure...it has longer legs than I'm willing to sit still for. :) I found that intro music on youtube's copyright free music. Not certain what it is right now. I'll try to link it on a future video. I was looking for something kind of upbeat/relaxing with a country feel. Guess it's working. :)
Hey comment details back on the breakfast club. I'm about an hour out of Chicago in the mooney and have a brother in Plainfield area. Sounds like something fun to do. Bloomington isn't far from me either.
Hello Gabe. In a Mooney, everything is close. :) Basically you can google Chicago Sunday Morning Breakfast Club and see their site. Sometimes they update the destination before take-off time. Either way, around 8am on Sundays you dial in 122.75 and simply ask "where we going". Someone will tell you and they are very welcoming of new comers. Good luck in joining in! I'm going to try to go once a month at least. Maybe I'll see you there.
310 Pilot Very welcome to do that. My dream is to do the same in the states. I believe that your country see flying as a more acceptable way of transporting because of your distance. But Sweden is a buityful country to fly in as well and near and a part of Europe... // Lars
Ur copilot is 51 % of enjoyment of your videos...make that more than half. This is not a sexist coment.. her processional ability is enjoyable and unusual to encounter which makes it so popular. It’s understandable she should be so proficient but that doesn’t take away anything. Congrats on snagging such a prize. U both seem like people everyone would be happy to know. 80 yearCountry cowboy pilot from San Antonio
I thought it was great. The airport is controlled but seemed very sleepy. The restaurant was good and you can taxi right up to the door. It was breakfast and that is hard to screw up. :) I'll be back.
Really enjoying your videos flying around the local Chicago/Illinois area. What is that green, tube-type display unit in your panel? I do not recall seeing you use it in any videos.
Glad you are liking it so far! We do have several longer flights planned for the year to spread our wings a bit. Arkansas, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Northern Michigan and hopefully the Bahamas will all be in store. :) That green display is my Radar. I haven't flown around weather in these videos so I leave it off. It works but is the old school mono-chrome type. Maybe after some of the other pressing upgrades I have in mind I might see if I can swing a newer color version.
310 Pilot Kind of thought it was an older radar display. Guess the antenna is in the nose, as other GA types have the wing pod. A wing pod would destroy the beautiful lines of a 310.
Where in Florida do you plan on flying in to ? I'm on the west coast of Florida . Not far from where I live there is a private airport called Hidden Lake Airport on Ridge Road in New Port Richey. People have hangers there behind their houses . I'd love to meet you there if you fly in to my area . Think about it and let me know . Fly safe always ! Cheers !
Thanks for the offer Bob! If we make it that way I will let you know. One of Jaime's best friends lives in Tampa so she want's to swing by there. Also on the plans at some point in the near future is the keys, Ft Pierce on our way to the Bahamas and Destin (where I lived for 4 years).
I agree. I can promise she'll be in about 90% of them. She loves to fly when she can. I just did a flight with my son where I was letting him fly and I also show ForeFlights geo-referenced charts. I'm a fan. I'll get that up soon.
Quick question: During your takeoff procedure, are you saying "tap the brakes" right before you raise the landing gear? And is that to stop the tire rotation?
Thank you for the comment Carl! I am a bit mind blown that it came from the factory with lap belts only. I guess that was the safety mindset of the 70's though. Little surprised previous owners never upgraded it. I am getting 4 point from BAS installed this year hopefully. With it being the first year and having limited budget, I had to prioritize my upgrades so far. This year was prop's both O/H'ed, ADS-B in/out transponder to get traffic and weather, upgrade the 530 to WAAS for the traffic, wx and LPV capabilies, the G5 battery backup AHRS AI for safety, and engine monitor to fully monitor the health of them. I know others may have prioritized differently but that's what I chose. 4 points are coming!
Thx - I make sense outta that! Curious what your monthly cost(s) are in round figures including the bird. I wanna see what one might expect to get into the game at your level…
310 Pilot glad to hear about the 4 point install. I think the Rob Holland incident this week really brought home the need for a good harness, he made a point of thanking Hooker Harness. Stay safe
I use a gopro aviation adapter plugged in to an empty jack in the middle row of seats. There is an inline adapter where you can plug into any jack and still plug your headset in if you don't have any blank spots. I ordered it from spruce. It's plugged into the Hero5 black and I get the engine background from the session. Going to get some more cameras for different angles. Hope this helps.
I'm a mini fan. I just upgraded from the original (sssllllloooooww) mini to the mini 4 and it was a night and day difference. I won't be excited if they kill the mini size lineup but this should buy me a few years. I'll go bigger if I have to but I'll have to change where I put it as it will cover things I need.
The looks pretty much the same from what I could see. Funny short story... I used to Refuel State Farm's Turbo Commanders. (1982) @ BMI flash forward to 2017.. for fun refueled aircraft for Commander Aero FBO @ Dayton Wright Brothers Airport KMGY on Sundays. I guy was rebuilding Twin Commanders on the field and it turned out I used to refuel his Commander as he was one of the State Farm Pilots when I was there. I am now in Colorado Springs. If you guys are ever out thias way, Lunch is on me. :-) I made the same offer to Premier1Driver too. :-) Have a good day!
Aviation is a small world! My short story was I was on the ramp off the coast of Georgia just flying around for fun when I was 19 and I asked a Lear Jet pilot if I could look in his plane. We started talking and it turns out he was my Uncle's back-seater when he flew F4's. Thanks for the offer. I love Colorado and we are planning on flying out that way either this year or next.
I almost asked you what model Cessna that was, LOL ... "310 Pilot" ... duuhhhh! Been a looong week!! 😂 Love the FLAT landscape out there. So different than my area (MA, near ORH) - nothing but up and down hills here between 300' - 1100' MSL, and lots of trees. Glad to finally see the snow melting in my yard here - about time! We hit 55° today. Felt like beach weather, lol. Thanks for the virtual ride, brother. You guys have a Happy Easter. 👍
Thank you Smitty! Happy Easter to you and your's as well. The flat farm fields make for lots of great emergency landing areas. I do miss the rolling hills and mountains of north Georgia though. Glad winter is finally over!
I realize it’s far, but should you ever fly to California, you have to fly in to the Harris Ranch. Checkout Harrisranch.com. Enjoyed the video very much. I feel like I’m ready for ground school lol lol
Glad you like the videos Jamie! Sorry about the music. Copyrights makes adding music (and not getting your videos yanked) pretty tough picking. I'll try to look for some new stuff maybe.
Loads and loads of completely free music out there. Plenty of channels right here on TH-cam with completely free music beds as well. Examples on TH-cam: Flying Tunes, Music for Creators, Free Background Music.
It has. Of course I got flirty on the mic to give the other unknowing pilots of the freq something to ponder. :) One day we were flying over STL and another of our friends (a female) was working us. We told her we may crash at her house on the way back north if the wx got bad. Several of the other pilots on the freq were like, what about us...we can come crash too. :)
I honestly enjoy hand-flying as the 310 is nice and stable. I do have an autopilot that did work great but is starting to slip. Instead of putting money in it, I'm going to wait for the new autopilots that are slated to hit the market later this year and upgrade to a modern/more capable one.
Good job. Brings back memories of Sunday morning breakfast runs. We`d go to Palmyra,Wi. and Reedsburg,Wi. a lot. You`re gonna have to go to the Fly In breakfast at C77 Poplar Grove. Thank you again. Awesome stuff I just love watching all you pilots fly, It quenches those dreams I have had all my life.
You're welcome Thomas. Glad you like watching!

What a great idea......8 am airborne and come on the Freq to find out where to go.....Love It!
I agree. My only complaint is it took this long to find out about them!
Great to have a opportunity to ride along in the rightseat with you to the 310
Thanks for coming along again Bernard!
That was fun ! Yes the newer iPads are so much better. I got my wife a new one for Christmas and she's amazed at the difference. Thanks for taking us along !
Glad you liked it Alan! It's amazing what a few years of technology advancement can do with these electronics.
Good show as usual. Thanks.
You're welcome...glad you enjoyed it!

You're welcome. Thanks for watching Donald!
Very nice flight video !
Thank you!
Another awesome adventure, thanks again for taking us along
Glad you liked it. Wish the cameras had worked for the fun part down there. I'll get it all next time. Thanks for following along.
Just now seeing this 4 years later. I'm doing my PPL training at KBMI. We all miss the restraunt that use to be at the airport!
I really like your videos. I fly a 182 out of Lansing KIGQ. I had no idea this group existed until I saw this. Can't wait to join in when i get a chance.

Love your vids! I found a flight school and I am starting lessons in the summer😃👍
Awesome! Good luck on your PPL Joseph! Once you've tasted it you will always be looking up. :)
awesome! maybe one day I can fly up that way, I just started training... only 6.3 hrs as of now. very cool videos, keep 'em coming

I live in SAT but grew up in BMI; good to see the ole town and CJs Thx
Glad to show you the view of your old town! Haven't been to San Antonio in years...need to go back one day.
Great video as always! Bloomington is where I learned and got my ticket to fly.
Thank you! Glad you liked it. My first time there but seems like a really nice airport. CJ's was good...it's a do-over.
That was great bud, wondered why the BOSS wasn't with you, lol. I like how you explain what your doing and why, you have a super channel, glad to be a part of it. How many miles can you go on a full load of fuel?

Thank you James. I'm a big fan of the new iPad/ForeFlight! Flying always beats driving. For me, driving = stress and flying = freedom. :)
310 Pilot I totally agree that driving = stress with all the bad drivers on the roads now a days .
Which engines do you have in your 310?
I love your channel.I enjoy the controllers perspective from the left seat.
Glad you like the channel and the ATC spin we include at times Frank! I have a normally aspirated Q model with the stock IO-470-VO's.
Great Flight. We should do that in formation.
Thanks Ray! I'd love to one day!
Great video! Liked seeing you at my home airport.
Thank you! My first time there but I'll be back. The airport was easy in and out and CJ's is nice.
Thanks for the Smooth Flight Capt .
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
How do you record the audio ??? Amazing videos !!!
Thank you! I record the ATC/intercom with an aviation adapter to the gopro black. The engine noise is recorded on the session. During editing, I tie them together. Still learning a lot about the process but having fun with it.
Looks like you were a little light and left side heavy? I enjoy your videos.
Unfortunately I was. Next time my first officer will make sure to get a later shift that day! Glad you are still liking them Stan!
Come on down to CMI sometime, I would enjoy having lunch and talk about flying. I am contemplating going to flight school.
Excellent, something to look forward to :) Can't wait to see your Bahamas trip :D
Thanks 310 Pilot
You're welcome Scotty.
Nice ride! Enjoyed
-bob Athens GA
Thanks Bob!
-I will always claim GA as my home, no matter how long I'm gone for.
Go Dawgs!
310 Pilot shoot me an email at iflyme2003@gmail.com and let me know when your going again. Love to meet up
Really good idea to have a routine on Sundays which will probably make good flying and make people fly or? / Lars from Sweden
Thanks for watching Lars! It is great to have a reason to fly and meet up with other pilots. I'd love to fly in Sweden. Maybe one day. :)
310 Pilot Very welcome to do that. My dream is to do the same in the states. I believe that your country see flying as a more acceptable way of transporting because of your distance. But Sweden is a buityful country to fly in as well and near and a part of Europe...
// Lars
Gotta love those. AIRCRAFT. CONTROLLERS. ✌✌👍👍👍👍🍻
Thanks Jeff!
Thank you for the nice comment Wayne! I agree...I married up. :)
Thinking about flying down to BMI to visit friends and might eat at CJ's. How was it?
I thought it was great. The airport is controlled but seemed very sleepy. The restaurant was good and you can taxi right up to the door. It was breakfast and that is hard to screw up. :) I'll be back.
310 Pilot hey thanks for the feedback.
Yeah, most twins have the radar in the nose and singles have the pods. Pods look a little goofy and add a certain amount of drag.
Foreflight preview was awesome, hope to see more. Video would have been better if your beautiful co-pilot was along!!
I agree. I can promise she'll be in about 90% of them. She loves to fly when she can. I just did a flight with my son where I was letting him fly and I also show ForeFlights geo-referenced charts. I'm a fan. I'll get that up soon.
What is the new iPad?
I upgraded from an original iPad mini to the mini 4. Well worth the money!
Quick question: During your takeoff procedure, are you saying "tap the brakes" right before you raise the landing gear? And is that to stop the tire rotation?
Oh ya it's me and you listening to the 285 on takeoff
The "G" on the hat is for the Packers - right?
Dayre Williams Looks likes Georgia Bulldogs hat.
No sir...Georgia Bulldogs!
What Gopro Mount is that on the windscreen?
I'm not certain. It came in the "gopro pilot kit" I ordered from Spruce. Seems to work pretty well.
Just noticed you don't use a 4 or 5 point safety harness. Any thoughts on that? Thx in Advance!
Stay safe
How did you record audio? What equipment?
I use a gopro aviation adapter plugged in to an empty jack in the middle row of seats. There is an inline adapter where you can plug into any jack and still plug your headset in if you don't have any blank spots. I ordered it from spruce. It's plugged into the Hero5 black and I get the engine background from the session. Going to get some more cameras for different angles. Hope this helps.
What size IPad do you use. Was thinking of upgrading from a mini to the pro 10.3
That's what I say to myself like you do is to hold it off hold it off
Make it easy for the tires/gear/brakes. :)
I soloed there in 1982. :-)
I worked refueling for Clark Aviation on weekends to pay for my flying.
Dated a girl in Aurora too :-) Looong ago. :-)
Pretty cool. Have they expanded much or look pretty much the same?
Where the co-pilot?
I know, she was at work. :( I'll try to limit that.
I almost asked you what model Cessna that was, LOL ... "310 Pilot" ... duuhhhh! Been a looong week!! 😂
Love the FLAT landscape out there.
You passed the “do you have Tango.” Test...
I would say so. :)
The Cessna 310 is said to be a pilots aircraft - she doesn't forgive mistakes.
I'd say that's a fair assessment. Fun to fly but she's complex and fast. If you aren't ahead of her, she can get away.
I realize it’s far, but should you ever fly to California, you have to fly in to the Harris Ranch. Checkout Harrisranch.com. Enjoyed the video very much. I feel like I’m ready for ground school lol lol
Glad you enjoyed it George! We are planning to head out to California one of these days ask will check out the ranch there. :)
Is that ohare
O'Hare video will be coming for sure. I posted a night one of Midway (MDW) you can watch. This was Aurora (ARR) and Bloomington (BMI).
Love the videos but it's time for some new music beds. Please.
No first officer - bummer. I guess doing something like keeping folks in the air from meeting abruptly is a pretty good excuse. ;)
Ha ha...Yeah, sometimes work calls and I'm flying solo.
Today on Fun With Analytics, we see if the lack of Jamie in the thumbnail or the video causes a drop in views and watch time. 🤓
My guess is yes. :)
Has it ever worked out that you were in airspace that Jamie was controlling?
You always seem to hand fly. No auto or you just like to hand fly?
I honestly enjoy hand-flying as the 310 is nice and stable. I do have an autopilot that did work great but is starting to slip. Instead of putting money in it, I'm going to wait for the new autopilots that are slated to hit the market later this year and upgrade to a modern/more capable one.
The gallons per hour don't sound as bad when you figure how much farther you're going in that hour! Nice!
That's what I keep telling myself too. :)
Where's your partner in crime there?
Someone had to work...planes ain't cheap. :) I'll promise to keep that to a rarity.
