I'm planning a 13b swap in to a 2200 and this bellhousing swap is what I've been looking for. Fbs also use this transmission with a different bellhousing. Using the truck gearing might actually help with rotary low end torque
Great ! 13b is a common swap for these truck, if you plan to haul stuff, the truck transmission gearing might be a bit better. Thanks for watching !

How much boost can't these stock trans hold. I'm working on a similar project have a fully build bp engine just need to figure out a trans for the swap

Hie mate ,can I swap an mx 5 engine with its gearbox box to a Mazda 1978 pickup and only modify the gearbox mounting and prop shaft to size
I've havent done it, but with custom works, anything is possible.
Hello, mx-5 5 speed and b2200 transmission gears synchros etc . are the same ? Which parts same my concern bellhousing and shifter turret be different and probablıy shift selectors differs but gears synchros etc. ?
I'm not sure if its the same or not but the shifter location is right in the perfect location.
Can I use a Miata transmission with a b2200 bellhousing on a b2200 without any modifications? Currently second gear on my b200 is grinding and I have a Miata transmission. Thanks in advance
you could but you have to make your own mounting brackets. The miata transmission use a PPF brace to mount the whole drive train.

Does the miata flywheel bearing share the proper inner diameter with the b2200 input shaft? I saw you changed it but didnt know if it was for any specific reason besides maintenance
And does that inner plate/cover inside the bellhousing match between both bellhousings? I love the video man
@@BeryMchawkiner it's mainly for maintenance. Only the bell housing is B2200.. the rest is Miata parts... clutch, bearing, etc.

What year Miata did this transmission come from?
Any year off from 90-05 should work

Part and aftermarket support are widely available on the BP engine. I've also added a turbo charger to it.

I'm about to BP swap my mazda, need some insider info. Is the bellhouse swap a MUST, or can the B2000 bellhousing be used with modification? If I have to get a bellhousing I will, just would like to keep the transmission as is for the most part. Not scared to do any modificafion to the B2000 transmission bellhousing.
it doesnt line up, it's easier to swap bell housing
