Hey there. I hope it works out well for you, especially with a shedding dog - that's always a handful! However, in my experience, I found that the Q REVO struggled a bit in terms of thorough cleaning, especially with pet hair. Also, the obstacle avoidance wasn't as robust as I hoped. Just wanted to share my honest experience.

I am struggling between the Revo and the Q8 Max+, currently on Amazon, there is only 150 euros difference between them. The Revo model seems to have more functionality for its charging/suction station. Does the dual roller from the Q8 Max+ makes a huge difference? I am concerned if the Revo can handle dog and human long hair. I would appreciate your comment.
Both would be great choices. Haven't noticed the dual brushes making as much of a difference as I thought it would. Both will tackle pet hair just fine!
I been seeing a lot of folks saying the self empty gets clogged pretty often if you have pets in your house.

The dust bin was packed as you showed, however, did it or did it not empty automatically at the empty station? The only reason I ask is because I have a Labrador Retriever and the dust bin does not always empty due to the dustbin being stuffed just like what you showed.
It does empty! I just kept it from emptying to show you the contents before they go into the vacuum bag! My dog is also a lab/retriever so I can attest it does a great job emptying dog hair!
@@DigitalDavid I noticed that. Mine is most likely a Goldendor. Thanks for getting back to me. I have an Ecovacs for the past couple of years and it has a hard tie emptying due to the dog hair.

Despite thorough pre-vacuuming, it disappointingly leaves a considerable amount of hair on the rugs.
Tell me more about your setup! What kind of hair is it struggling to pick up? Have any other robo vacs done it better?

His own bed what dog owner doesn’t have a bed for their dog how is having a dog bed any indication that is well taken care of lol. Not saying is not just found that comment weird. Its like saying your child looks well taken care of since I saw food in his plate -.-
Bad obstacle avoidance is a big fail. Regardless of how good it does everything else. Many will not buy it or will be returning it because of this.
Defiantly try it in your environment and see how it does! A lot of times future updates can make a big difference it what they are able to process. I know with iRobot for instance we have seen them get better and better after updates etc!
