Not every Item on the maintenance list is necessarily replaced; simply serviced. Others may need service more often than recommended.

OUTSTANDING video and advice! THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to film this great video. We are very pleased w/our QREVO, and highly recommend this model for both carpet and tile and linoleum. We have a large malamute (super-shedder), and Mr. Q is a great time-saver for both vacuuming and mopping. To keep him that way, we know from past experience w/our 5 yo iRobot (Nigel) how vital regular maintenance is. Nigel now lives and works flawlessly in the carpeted basement. Since Mr. Q also mops, he lives on the 1st floor. THANK YOU again for this great video!! It’s time to clean Mr. Q’s sensors (recommended weekly), and your vid shows exactly where to find all of them!

Thank you for the video very understanding I do have one huge question. Maybe you can have the answer to this in the app there is a setting under the vacuum only it’s called max+ for deep cleaning only what does that setting do I have tried to search over the Internet and I can’t find anything. What’s the difference between max and max+

Hi! I've realy appreciate the video. A little tip from my experience, i pour a little of bleach in the dirty water conteiner when it's empty, this removes the smell almost entirely. Also, i have an issue: I've changed the mops with an online equivalent, but they detach from the stripes almost every day. Is there something i can do for that? I still have the original ones, but i was asking.

Excellent video, thank you. If you ever re-publish this video you may wish to show how to unblock the part that feeds into the dust bag. Today was my first day using the Q Revo, which is my first robotic cleaner, and an error message displayed that the bag needed to be unblocked. Tells you a lot about my cleaning regime! Also do you have a video on how to spot clean please? I want to learn how to use the remote joystick and how to spot clean with the vacuum only. The spot clean function seems to be both mop and vacuum together. Thank you .
There is a deeper issue having to do with how often it wmpties while cleaning the house for which a second video will be made.

Amazing video! Do you happen to know what is the rectangle shaped rubber thing on the right side of charging contact? It feels like could be falling apart anytime.
The flap? its for the dust removal operation.
Thanks for the video. Great job! I was wondering - the robot itself has a place where water is stored. That area probably gets moldy or stinky from time to time. The water is internal to the robot and not consumer accessible. Im sure ill be making a video on this but it wont be for the average user.
Awesome Video! Thank you. How close to the wall does the mop clean? Is there less than an inch? Almost thinking to get a Tineco s5 to ensure the edges of the kitchen get clean but if the revo is very close, then I'd be fine with it. Thank you again.

Do you know if it's safe to use that silver ion module for mopping an apartment with kids? (I assume it should be if there is just a silver in it, but wanted to double-check).
Also, the same question for their official Omo cleaning solution ("Roborock Floor Cleaning Solution for Vacuum Mops").
Im testing it right now and notice no difference.
Great video. Quick question: is there a way to get the residue water out of the robot? How do do you prevent forming of limescale and breeding of bacteria?
I use zero water as mentioned that has no mineral content.

Q Revo vs the S7 Ultra vs S8 Pro Ultra, which do you recommend for best cleaning and maintenance?
In terms of cleaning performance, some recommend the S7 Ultra above the S8 Pro Ultra.. However, lately I've heard good things about the Q Revo.. I wonder if its due to the spinning pads..
How do you clean the water tank in the revo? I am looking to buy one, the only thing that holds me back is the cleaning of the water tank. it can over time get quite dirty and mouldy.
There is no consumer method to do this
I have an error one for the LiDR but can’t find much on it. Any advice?

Have you ever had an issue with your Q Revo leaking drops of water? I’ve only had mine for 2 weeks and even when I do a vacuum only run I notice big drops of water on the floor especially where she transitions from carpet to hardwood. Any advice? Do I have a faulty unit?

The water stays in the cleaning tank and will not be sucked into the dirty water tank. How do I clean the pipe?
Just purchased the Q Revo. I can’t find any indicators on the tank itself or anything in instructions about how much water to put in the tank. Do you fill it halfway up or to the top?

I purchased this device from Amazon a month ago and I could not get the water to fill into the vacuum so it did not mop. None of the suggestions by the manufacturer helped. I returned it and just received a second one and it is doing the same thing. I am wondering if there is some step I am missing such as removing a piece of protective tape somewhere. I have looked everywhere and cannot find anything.
i have heard you may need to prime the water pump using a syringe
Paper towels will scratch the sensors over time. I'd use a microfiber cloth.
I think you can empty the dust bin in the trash can and give it at least a second use. Like 1 bag every 2-3 months. Is a small saving but I think it worths it. And maybe you can clean the bag with water or some sort of procedure, same as the dust bin in the robot right?
It’s possible, bulk bags are cheap. eBay also sells some with zippers
@@retrotechandelectronics I tell you more: 1st empty the big waste in the trash can and for thr small dust inside vacum the dist bag with another vacuum regular machine!! hahha what a hack!!

As of yet we have not noticed any difference

Costco offers this Roborock Q Revo, 2 years warranty return anytime within 2 years operation to get full refund...I am waiting if Roborock shoots their Q Revo Pro at Costco ...mainly because it has extending mop and hot mop wash!
How are you finding this robot so far? Any issues, either software wise or hardware wise? Anything you wished that was better?
In particular, how is object detection? Is it that bad?
Still nothing to complain about except for that top cover being at 90deg.
My Q Revo has the problem that one of the two mops does not get wet anymore. - I have found no solution for that misbehavior, yet.
