We know this video is LONG... if you want to see a rapid review you can watch that here: th-cam.com/video/aibm4cezGig/w-d-xo.html What can we do to improve our videos and reviews going forward? Please let us know with a comment!
I am impressed by two items. First is the level of options and how granular you can get in the app -see what I did there? Second is the swing out capability of the mop heads. Those are powerful tools and bring this vacuum into the upper teir of cleaning power. Good to see Dreame being innovative vs. the original model of being a budget level version of industry leaders features. They need to keep doing this.
Dreame has come a long way! This is the best of the best at the moment! Don't forget about its ability to install/remove the mop pads. That is so clutch that it makes lifting them off carpets obsolete! The only thing missing (which could be done via software update) is off peak charging! Cheers to an exciting future of vac tech!
Love your reviews. But, you showed the full dust bin but did not show it after auto emptying. Did it not do well? Also, no comparison with the L10S ultra and is it worth upgrading? Your reviews are usually very comprehensive but important details were left out this time around..
Thanks for the feedback Richard! It is great to hear you like our reviews and we are so thankful you have stuck around our channel. Happy to provide more clarity on your questions: - No it emptied and still empties great! No issues just did not make the final cut ---> had we had issues we would have defiantly highlighted that! - We wish we had the capacity to create more videos like a comparison between the L10S Ultra... we hope to get to that point in our programming soon! Since those vacuums are vary similar it would have been good for us even just for a minute to talk about them... good news is I can still do that right here in the comments!! My short answer is no it is not worth upgrading if you already have the L10S Ultra. So much investment for some great features (mop pad removal, camera access, side mop corner clean) but you already spent a lot of money on the L10S. So unless money is disposable I would just enjoy the L10 and then get the L40 or whatever will be out when it is time to upgrade! Now if you don't have either vacuum and are in the market to purchase I think the L20 is the better buy and that would be more choice (assuming budget allows). What do you feel is missing from our videos? Anything you want to see done differently?
I’ve got one and it works well with one major exception. The auto empty dust/dirt collection just doesn’t work. If you have dog hair etc, the built in collection bin within the unit just clogs up and doesn’t empty regardless of how often I tell it to empty during the cleaning schedule. Apart from this one really annoying issue the unit is excellent.
This is a great question! I got the X2 Omni hopefully coming my way in the next few weeks so excited to get some hands on experience. Right now its not even close due to the prices... the L20 is $500 less and offers these features over the others: extended (swing out) mop pad, ability to remove mop pads for carpet cleaning, and auto solution mixing! If all things were equal price wise I would still side with the Dreame but you should pick the X2 if you want the square design, or the S8 Pro if you want off peak charging. From my understanding the S8 does not allow you to get a live view of the camera on the front (this is something you can do with the L20 and X2) so for that reason I rank it at the bottom of the 3... others who are more paranoid about online privacy might view that as a positive!
@@DigitalDavid perhaps the Roborock is the one that washes the worst since it has the cloth and not the mops. what do you think? For me is not very important the live view camera… so do you recommend me Dreame (between Roborock and Dreame)? I will also wait for the Ecovacs review
@@GiulioGiurisato Roborock and Dreame are basically tied imo so at that point I would buy whatever is cheaper! Ecovacs still has room for improvement with their object recognition!
put it like this: Roborock: better on hard floor or carpet - NO wash next to the wall Dreame: a 5% less on hard floor or carpet - better wash casuse have mops and not a cloth - YES wash next to the wall
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Dreame L20 ultra? In terms of longevity, L20 Ultra is all-new tech and that arm that sticks out. I wonder if that would last in the long term
Time will tell but so far so good for me! Both are fantastic choices but I am picking the L20 (actually the L30 if you can afford it) due to the arm & ability to remove and reinstall mop pads!! The L30 is the same as the L20 but offers hot water mop washing!!!
Thanks for this feedback! We have struggled with this for years and have not found a better solution... we only include it to prevent our videos from being stolen... ever since we have included the animation our stolen videos has declined drastically! Open to other suggestions and so sorry it wasn't a video you could watch! We hate to hear that!
I wanted the Roborock 7 MaxV, but i cannot find it for sake anymore 😢. So i ordered this one. I want the camera, and ability to connect to water/drain. On that.... the water/drain connection kit for this machine is outrageously expensive ($299.) , compared to the moderately expensive $149 for the Roborock.
Yeah its wild... still a really cool feature just expensive. If I had the right setup with a sink or cabinet I would totally do it. That is the future!
@@DigitalDavid you really should look more closely into it. The pipes are really small (smaller than cable tv cables) and can easily be fed through walls, behind baseboards, or through ceilings. You'll never get a belly by manually emptying and filling water tanks.
Best review for this product out on youtube imo. Not a ton of info on it as its not had an official release yet in the US. Pre-ordered mine today. Thanks David!
Wow thanks so much for saying this. We needed to hear that today! We don't always get our content right but we TRY really hard. Is there anything you liked or was covered/showcased in some of the other reviews you watched? What can we do better/differently?

Such an amazing review! You should do a side-by-side of the Dreame L20 Ultra and the Robo rock S8 pro ultra
Great idea! -MB
Thank you for the video and tutorial! I need this.
Awesome. Glad we could help!
I have the L10 love it
L10 is fantasic... I didn't think it could get any better until the L20 came out... this thing is wild!
looks great. If you were to recommend THE go-to robot mop, which would it be?
Do you have a budget? Go to right now is the X40 Ultra but that is top of the line. Mid tier budget is the Yeedi M12 Pro+!
Can it be used at different floors without moving the base station?
Yes!
@@DigitalDavid how long does it take to vacuum 1000 sf area? Does it use up battery fast?

Really? That is so strange. What kind of dog do you have?

Which is best in your opinion, Dreame L20 or Roborock S7 mav V or Roborock S8 ultra?

L20 due to cheaper price!!!
