In fact it feels so right that I wonder how I ever lived without it. I absolutely LOVE the 339!!
@@Unknown-ko7xt I see you too hate retuning for different songs XD why spend 30 seconds tuning back to standard when I could just have another guitar already in it 😂

I'd say that the 100 sounds just a tad brighter/clearer than the rest - even the SC75-PVC! I really love my 100, i've had it for a couple months and really like how the upper midrange is present even when playing low notes on a guitar. Every note gets a similar amount of presence regardless of octave. I find that really helpful!
Great solo!! I've only been playing guitar for 7 months and already have three guitars 🙈 a mexican player strat, a baja tele and a cheap Ibanez acoustic. I don't have anything with humbuckers on and though I've promised myself not to get anything else until i reach an intermediate level.... that 335 is insisting that i should try it! 😬
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses - yeah thanks! i feel the 335 has a lot of aspects to it that are totally different to what I'm so far used to. The semi-hollow body, the larger body shape, the shorter scale length, the humbucker pickups and darker tone..... and when my rational mind tells me I don't yet deserve another guitar i hear another voice saying "think how good it'll look hanging on your wall! What piece of art could you get for that price!" 🙈
Nice choices. The 335 would probably be a good addition. For my tastes, a Baja tele and a 335 or 339 would be the ideal combination. I also have an Ibanez style string acoustic that sounds way better than the price would suggest.
Don't be ashamed. The amount of guitars you have does not have to reflect how long you've been playing or how good you are, just how much you can spend and how tolerant is your wife
I had a chance to spend an afternoon playing the 335 and 339 side by side. Both were very playable(full disclosure: I usually play a strat). But what struck me was that that 339 is not just a miniaturized 335. That was sorta what I was expecting. The 335 had a much richer hollow body tone. While the 339 had a much tighter Les Paul sound without going all the way to a Les Paul. It was a nice compromise between the 2. The 339 feels heavier until you hold them both one after the other. Not much difference. I had also heard complaints about access to the upper register being more difficult on the 339. I didn't find this too be the case at all. Both the 335 and 339 had excellent access to the higher frets. Which one is better? That's an apples and oranges question. The 339 really is it's own guitar and holds it's own when compared to the 335. Having said all this, however, I think the 335 is the one I would choose. Of course if you want something to shred with I wouldn't suggest either.
That's a good point. I have both of these models and love both of them, but the Epi 339 is closer to a Les Paul or an SG in sound than it is to a 335, in my opinion. It's a lot "punchier" and in your face. I do prefer the neck pickup sound on the 339 though.
This is the only video I needed to finally get an Epiphone ES-335. Bought the Cherry version too! You have no idea how many times I’ve watched this (or maybe you do).
