    I had my distributor replaced, after replacing new coil, crank shaft sensor and PCM. It was my distributor was not connecting with my camshaft, so distributor was my issue.

    Just did this with my 92 mj. That is oem dizzy for the 4.0 til 93. 94+ has the sync pick up above the pulse ring.
    Half of new manufactured 94+ are clocked incorrectly from the factory, ask me how I know. And none of the local pick n pulls had the right yrs for me to get an oem.
    Oh you had your diagnosis backwards, the orange wire is 8v supply. The tan with yellow tracer is the signal wire, 5v output cycling on and of between cyl 3 tdc and 4 tdc.
